Die vier Instrumente des § 29 StaRUG bilden den Kern des neuen präventiven Restrukturierungsrahmens. Die Arbeit untersucht hinsichtlich dieser Instrumente sowie des Zugangs zu diesen die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede zum U.S.-amerikanischen Chapter 11-Verfahren sowie zu den vergleichbaren englischen Verfahren (CVA, SoA und Restructuring Plan). Einbezogen wird zudem die noch in den Entwurfsfassungen des StaRUG vorgesehene Vertragsbeendigung. Dabei werden vielfach Gemeinsamkeiten aber auch Unterschiede zwischen den Verfahren aufgezeigt. Hinsichtlich einiger Aspekte arbeitet die Untersuchung jedoch - insbesondere unter Berücksichtigung praktischer Erwägungen - Defizite des deutschen Rechts und einen entsprechenden Reformbedarf heraus.

This book discusses state-of-the-art stochastic optimization algorithms for distributed machine learning and analyzes their convergence speed. The book first introduces stochastic gradient descent (SGD) and its distributed version, synchronous SGD, where the task of computing gradients is divided across several worker nodes. The author discusses several algorithms that improve the scalability and communication efficiency of synchronous SGD, such as asynchronous SGD, local-update SGD, quantized and sparsified SGD, and decentralized SGD. For each of these algorithms, the book analyzes its error versus iterations convergence, and the runtime spent per iteration. The author shows that each of these strategies to reduce communication or synchronization delays encounters a fundamental trade-off between error and runtime.

Insbesondere stehen hier Anwendungsmöglichkeiten und eine exemplarische Darstellung in der Konsum- und Textilbranche im Fokus, sowie die Chancen und Risiken für Textilunternehmen. Durch die sich stetig entwickelnde Digitalisierung und Industrialisierung entstehen immer wieder neue Techniken und damit Herausforderungen und Chancen für Unternehmen. Ein Teil dieses Fortschrittes sind digitale Ökosysteme. Sie sind das Ergebnis einer digitalisierten Welt und eine neue Form der Zusammenarbeit von Unternehmen. Hierdurch entstehen sogenannte Megatrends, welche vom Zukunftsinstitut auf der sogenannten Megatrend-Map dargestellt werden. Zwei dieser Megatrends sind "New Work" und "Konnektivität". Als korrelierender Sub-Trend in diesen beiden Bereich finden sich die Plattformökonomie und auch "digitale Ökosysteme". Im Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit wurde auch ein Interview mit Dr. Sebastian Heger geführt, welcher als Berater für den IoT-Dienstleister "tresmo" tätig ist. Im ersten Teil wird zunächst die Funktionsweise digitaler Ökosysteme erläutert. Hierbei wird erarbeitet, was genau ein digitales Ökosystem ist und wo es Anwendung findet. Außerdem wird sich mit der Theorie zu digitalen Ökosystem befasst. Der zweite Teil der Ausarbeitung befasst sich mit dem Kontext und den Entwicklungen der Digitalisierung und Industrialisierung 4.0 und 5.0. Hier werden zunächst die Entwicklung der Industrie seit dem Jahr 1960 aufgezeigt und der technische Fortschritt behandelt. Zudem behandelt dieser Teil auch den aktuellen Status und die derzeitigen Entwicklungen der Technik. Im dritten Teil wird eine Branchenstrukturanalyse erstellt und mit den Ergebnissen dieser Analyse dann eine Analyse der Stärken, Schwächen, Möglichkeiten und Chancen (SWOT-Analyse) für ein repräsentatives Unternehmen innerhalb der Textilbranche erstellt. Außerdem erörtert dieser Abschnitt der Hausarbeit auch die Chancen und Risiken innerhalb des Marktes digitaler Ökosysteme. Hierbei werden auch Inhalte aus dem Interview mit Dr. Sebastian Heger mit einbezogen. In dem letzten Abschnitt der Arbeit werden die Erkenntnisse in Form eines Praxisbeispiels angewandt und eine mögliche Strategie für ein beispielhaftes Unternehmen erarbeitet. Diese Strategie ist rein theoretisch.
