As opposed to increasingly expensive medicine as a practice of repair, to prevent and to heal is to make life sustainable. The moment of truth can no longer be postponed. In this book, the concept of a hypothesis about the values of all attributes is added to the standard decision tree model, considered, in particular, in test theory and rough set theory. This extension allows us to use the analog of equivalence queries from exact learning and explore decision trees that are based on various combinations of attributes, hypotheses, and proper hypotheses (analog of proper equivalence queries). The two main goals of this book are (i) to provide tools for the experimental and theoretical study of decision trees with hypotheses and (ii) to compare these decision trees with conventional decision trees that use only queries, each based on a single attribute. Both experimental and theoretical results show that decision trees with hypotheses can have less complexity than conventional decision trees. These results open up some prospects for using decision trees with hypotheses as a means of knowledge representation and algorithms for computing Boolean functions. The obtained theoretical results and tools for studying decision trees with hypotheses are useful for researchers using decision trees and rules in data analysis. This book can also be used as the basis for graduate courses.

Hierfür werden alle notwendigen Bauteile des Arduinos elektronisch miteinander verkabelt und durch die Entwicklung eines lauffähigen Programms den Anforderungen des Projekts entsprechend angesteuert.Heutzutage ist die Digitalisierung für Unternehmen einer der entscheidenden Faktoren hinsichtlich ihrer Wettbewerbsfähigkeit. Vor allem das sogenannte ¿Internet of Things¿, welches die Vernetzung und Zusammenarbeit von verschiedensten digitalen Systemen darstellt, bringt ein großes innovatives und wirtschaftliches Potenzial mit sich. Um den daraus resultierenden neuartigen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden, bedarf es in jedem Teilbereich den Einsatz von adäquaten Technologien. So haben auch Mikrocontroller, die in unzähligen technischen Produkten eingebettet sind und dort vielfältige Funktionen der Geräte steuern, ihren Anteil an der technischen Revolution. Dessen Relevanz zeigt sich insbesondere in den stetig steigenden Umsatzerlösen. Während im Jahr 2015 lediglich 15,95 Milliarden Euro umgesetzt wurden waren es im Jahr 2021 bereits 20,2 Milliarden Euro.Innerhalb des Moduls MCS40 wird die Funktionsweise und Programmierung derartiger Mikrocontroller im Rahmen der Arduino Plattform thematisiert. Hierfür fand an zwei Labortagen eine Einführung in die Umgebung in Hinsicht auf Hardware und Entwicklungsumgebung durch Prof. Dr.-Ing. R. unter Einbeziehung mehrerer kleinerer Praxisbeispiele statt. Im Anschluss daran erfolgte die eigenständige Bearbeitung eines ausgewählten Themas. Für die praktische Umsetzung der Aufgabenstellung ist ein Funduino Uno zum Einsatz gekommen, welcher den gleichen Aufbau und dieselben Funktionalitäten wie ein Arduino Uno bereitstellt.
