A implementação dos SIS desempenha um papel fundamental na prestação de serviços de saúde seguros e de elevada qualidade, reduzindo também os erros médicos durante o tratamento. A integração destes sistemas nas instituições de cuidados de saúde permitiu a acumulação de grandes quantidades de dados. Para investigar a utilização das plataformas HIS, foi utilizada uma metodologia de investigação em duas fases. Die Analyse baut auf einer Untersuchung des Verhältnisses von Öffentlichem Recht und Privatrecht auf, die sich das Verhältnis der beiden Teilrechtsgebiete insbesondere für den Bereich der Verbraucherrechtsdurchsetzung ansieht. Abschließend werden auf Basis der gefundenen Ergebnisse Änderungsvorschläge bezüglich des § 4 Abs. 1a FinDAG formuliert.
