Por conseguinte, a gestão hoteleira está a aplicar as melhores estratégias de marketing, que consistem em enviar cartões de aniversário e oferecer descontos para refeições e alojamento, a fim de criar uma afiliação a longo prazo com o cliente e manter o seu pessoal de vendas ocupado a fazer inquéritos sobre a satisfação dos clientes, recebendo continuamente o seu feedback. Muitos investigadores provaram que a satisfação do cliente é o objetivo mais importante da empresa. É um dos elementos empresariais mais básicos e inevitáveis que não pode ser evitado nos tempos modernos, a importância crescente da satisfação do cliente, a retenção do cliente, o aumento do conhecimento do cliente, as mudanças na procura do mercado e a concorrência mudaram a preocupação do marketing transacional para a orientação para a relação. Consequentemente, a reputação é construída na mente dos clientes. A perceção do cliente sob a forma de reputação ajuda a reduzir os custos financeiros e psicológicos e a compreender melhor o produto ou serviço específico quando o cliente ouve o nome da organização, o que afecta diretamente a sua perceção e o seu espírito.

A segurança nacional está associada a um tal grau de violência que até os meios de comunicação social têm de a minimizar ou maximizar, consoante os seus interesses, a fim de influenciar a opinião pública e a agenda política. A Teoria da Agenda Setting (AST) explicou a parcialidade dos meios de comunicação social em relação aos factos de segurança nacional e às políticas do Estado. Dado que os homicídios são o principal indicador de violência no México, o presente artigo centrou-se na discussão da relação assimétrica entre o Estado, os meios de comunicação social e os cidadãos. Para o efeito, são analisadas as formas e os regimes de governo como causa do nível de violência no país. Posteriormente, a relevância da violência é explicada com referência aos media e à sua função mediática. A discussão do poder sócio-político coercivo e persuasivo facilitou uma abordagem metodológica em duas fases aos REA.

Este artigo apresenta as experiências da Universidade de Oriente em relação à virtualização dos processos de formação universitária, com o objetivo de conseguir a transformação destes processos através do uso intensivo das Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação (TIC), com vista a elevar o nível da universidade na utilização óptima destas tecnologias, de acordo com os desafios e exigências impostos pela era tecnológica em que nos encontramos. Os glaciares são a parte essencial da criosfera e desempenham um papel vital para manter o ciclo hidrológico da Terra em equilíbrio. Os glaciares situados em Gilgit-Baltistan são a principal fonte de abastecimento de água doce a todo o Paquistão. Estes glaciares estão a derreter rapidamente devido a vários problemas ambientais, como o aquecimento global e as alterações climáticas. Consequentemente, a maior parte dos glaciares está a recuar a um ritmo de 4 metros por ano, o que resulta também na formação de novos lagos glaciares. Se este processo se mantiver ao mesmo ritmo, todo o Paquistão enfrentará não só a escassez de água, mas também o aumento do número e da dimensão dos lagos glaciares. Assim, os riscos associados à súbita erupção destes lagos para as comunidades que vivem a jusante também aumentarão. Por isso, gostaria de pedir aos ambientalistas nacionais e internacionais que contribuam com a sua parte para sensibilizar o público para o aquecimento global, as alterações climáticas e os efeitos destes factores nos nossos glaciares.

Compensation contracts have become ever more complex and individualized, particularly in the executive compensation domain, where increasingly diverse stakeholder demands and governance requirements have led to the inclusion of more and increasingly interrelated components into compensation contracts. Even the compensation of lower-level employees has become complex as firms individualize employee compensation and use many different rewards simultaneously. Research has examined elements of compensation in isolation but has attempted to avoid the complexities of compensation. This dissertation examines the consequences of compensation complexity and compensation design dispersion and contributes to a better understanding of compensation and its consequences for firms and employees.The first study examines how the complexity of executive compensation contracts affects firm performance. It finds that CEO compensation complexity negatively affects accounting, market, and ESG (i.e., environmental, social, and governance) metrics of firm performance and explores mechanisms that help explain the relationships. The second study examines the effect of compensation design dispersion within top management teams and its impact on executive turnover. The results show that compensation design dispersion affects executive turnover, both directly and in interaction with relative pay level. The third study addresses the role of compensation design dispersion in the development of procedural justice perceptions. Using two experiments, this study shows that compensation design dispersion causes lower procedural justice perceptions, which appears to be less problematic for participants with relatively easier to understand contracts. In summary, this dissertation provides a nuanced overview of complex compensation design and compensation design dispersion. The findings contribute to a better understanding of the effectiveness of compensation as an incentive and sorting tool for organizations, and of the implications of compensation design for the functioning of teams.

Consequentemente, o objetivo deste artigo é estabelecer um modelo para o estudo do fenómeno em questão. A pesquisa documental foi realizada com uma seleção de amostra não probabilística de fontes indexadas nos principais repositórios do México, considerando o período de publicação de 2000 a 2017, bem como a inclusão de palavras-chave. Foi realizada uma linha de pesquisa comparativa entre os grupos de gerações e tipos de utilizadores da Internet, a fim de demonstrar diferenças e semelhanças.
