Networks pervade social and economic life, and they play a prominent role in explaining a huge variety of social and economic phenomena. Standard economic theory did not give much credit to the role of networks until the early 1990s, but since then the study of the theory of networks has blossomed. At the heart of this research is the idea that the pattern of connections between individual rational agents shapes their actions and determines their rewards. The importance of connections has in turn motivated the study of the very processes by which networks are formed. In Connections, Sanjeev Goyal puts contemporary thinking about networks and economic activity into context. He develops a general framework within which this body of research can be located. At the beginning of the 20th century, management began to undergo a significant development, seeking to respond to the demands of the capitalist system. As new situations appeared, theories were developed to provide answers to them and, although they did not fully resolve the situation, they created the basis for their own overcoming. From this point on, countless theories were developed. Almost all of them have been developed in highly developed capitalist countries, in order to perfect the established economic mechanism. These theories were considered at the time as paradigms of the science of management, and applied in any socioeconomic and cultural context, despite the differences it may have with the territory of origin in terms of social system, economic development, culture and idiosyncrasy. It is interesting to know how these theories have been applied in such a different environment as the Cuban business system and the results obtained.

La pérennité des micros et petites entreprises de femmes revêt une importance capitale aussi bien pour la stabilisation des emplois et le bien-être des familles que pour la croissance économique du pays. Toutefois, elles semblent être limitées dans leurs parcours vers la pérennité car, étant globalement orientées vers des secteurs moins porteurs et dépassent très rarement le stade de survie .Dans cette thèse, il a été question d¿identifier et d¿analyser les facteurs explicatifs de la pérennité des micros et petites entreprises de femmes burundaises. Pour atteindre cet objectif, des analyses exploratoires et confirmatoires ont été effectuées. A l¿issue de cette étude, un modèle de recherche a été conçu et développé. Pour valider ce modèle et vérifier les hypothèses de recherche, une enquête a été menée à partir d¿un échantillon de 405 femmes propriétaires des micros et petites entreprises et choisies selon la méthode non probabiliste. Les traitements statistiques et l¿analyse des données ont été réalisés avec les logiciels usuels SPSS-AMOS pour dégager les analyses factorielles exploratoires et confirmatoires.

Dabei wird der Einfluss von Humankapital auf das Wirtschaftswachstum ganzheitlich und kritisch anhand theoretischer Wachstumsmodelle analysiert. Dafür wird zunächst geklärt, was Kapital, Humankapital und Wirtschaftswachstum bedeuten. Im Rahmen dieser Begriffsbestimmungen wird auf die vielschichtige Interpretationsmöglichkeit von Humankapital und Wirtschaftswachstum detailliert eingegangen, um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden. Dann folgt im dritten Kapitel eine Erklärung, wie Humankapital erfasst beziehungsweise gemessen werden kann. Im Zuge dessen werden Probleme und Schwierigkeiten der Erfassung erörtert.
