Financial Management for Faith-Based and Not-For-Profit Entities est une tentative d'introduire la piété dans les transactions commerciales des chrétiens et autres adeptes de la foi en utilisant des guides scripturaux tels que la Torah, la Bible, le Coran et d'autres livres religieux faisant autorité. Le livre présente notamment des méthodes d'analyse financière et d'évaluation de projets qui peuvent être adaptées et appliquées à la gestion financière des organisations confessionnelles et à but non lucratif, où la maximisation du profit est moins importante. En outre, ce livre peut servir de texte de référence standard pour les étudiants (de deuxième et troisième cycles) et les enseignants et responsables religieux dans des domaines tels que l'administration des églises, la gestion des conflits et les perspectives bibliques des transactions économiques et financières. Il redéfinit en particulier le concept d'actionnariat et de rendement des investissements dans le contexte des entreprises et des projets confessionnels.

Financial Management for Faith-Based and Not-For-Profit Entities (Finanzmanagement für glaubensbasierte und gemeinnützige Organisationen) ist ein Versuch, Gottesfurcht in die geschäftlichen Transaktionen von Christen und Anhängern anderer Religionen einzubringen, und zwar unter Verwendung biblischer Leitlinien, wie sie in der Thora, der Bibel, dem Koran und anderen maßgeblichen religiösen Büchern enthalten sind. Insbesondere werden in diesem Buch Methoden der Finanzanalyse und Projektbewertung vorgestellt, die auf das Finanzmanagement von religiösen und gemeinnützigen Organisationen übertragbar und anwendbar sind, bei denen die Gewinnmaximierung weniger im Vordergrund steht. Darüber hinaus kann dieses Buch als Standardwerk für Studenten (mit und ohne Abschluss) sowie für religiöse Lehrer und Führungskräfte in den Bereichen Kirchenverwaltung, Konfliktmanagement und biblische Perspektiven für wirtschaftliche und finanzielle Transaktionen dienen. Le débat sur la justification du changement de régime en 2005, qui implique l'abandon du régime de taux de change fixe en Malaisie, n'a pas encore été résolu. Ainsi, une série de méthodes économétriques ont été proposées dans cette étude pour examiner la pertinence du régime de taux de change qui est mis en ¿uvre dans le contexte de la Malaisie et des pays de l'ASEAN. Les résultats de l'étude soutiennent la théorie de la zone monétaire optimale. Em particular, o livro introduz métodos de análise financeira e de avaliação de projectos que podem ser adaptados e aplicáveis à gestão financeira de organizações religiosas e sem fins lucrativos, onde a maximização do lucro é menos enfatizada. Além disso, este livro pode servir como um texto de referência padrão para estudantes (graduados e pós-graduados) e professores e líderes religiosos na área da administração da igreja, gestão de conflitos e perspectivas bíblicas das transacções económicas e financeiras. O livro redefiniu particularmente o conceito de participação acionista e de retorno do investimento no contexto de empresas e projectos baseados na fé.

This book investigates policies for the promotion of housing affordability in the rental sector of attractive cities in Europe. Affordability links the housing situation to the economic situation of households, referring to conditions of access to housing and to the role of housing in determining poverty or wealth. The book examines the current affordability crisis and frames it in the ongoing process of urban restructuring and devolution of welfare. From the perspective of the Foundational Economy, the book calls for a proactive and effective role of public administrations in making the rental sector an affordable and stable alternative to housing financialization and commodification. By intertwining theory construction and real-world data collected through case studies in Milan and Vienna, the book provides an original framework for the analysis of public policies that promote rental affordability in a multi-level setting. Approached as a super mantra revolving around ¿Republican Austerity¿ and ¿First, the poor¿, it provides original analysis of structural and conjunctural challenges facing Mexico as regards People-, Planet-, and Peace-centered development. The book reveals the promise ¿First, the poor¿ is inconsistent with data on Mexicös poverty reduction (SDG1). Despite record-high spending on social programs and unmatched coverage, the recent tendency of improvement in tackling poverty is rather ambiguous from the perspective of multidimensional poverty. The book covers access to clean energy (SDG7), resilient infrastructure and sustainable industrialization (SDG9), and safeguarding biodiversity (SDG15) by examining three megaproject case studies: the oil refinery Dos Bocas, the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, and the Maya Train, generating concern with the economic, environmental, and social dimensions of sustainable development. The prospects for an ¿enabling environment¿ for SDG implementation are hampered by persistently high levels of homicides and impunity (SDG16). Turning Mexicös Armed Forces into ¿first development partner of choice¿ is problematized as regards their reach in infrastructure megaprojects and social welfare programs, in the overall context of the ¿de-risking state¿ favoring private capital. This book presents social welfare functions as a unified multidisciplinary framework for various resource allocation problems.
