Este estudio explora los problemas de seguridad que afectan al sistema educativo en la región de Ségou (Malí). Los cierres de escuelas, tanto voluntarios como involuntarios, representan un importante obstáculo para el acceso a la educación de los niños, especialmente de las niñas, lo que agrava problemas como el matrimonio precoz. Estos cierres también exponen a los niños a un futuro incierto, con mayores riesgos de violencia, delincuencia y reclutamiento por parte de grupos armados. El artículo propone soluciones estratégicas para abordar estos problemas, como una inversión sustancial en infraestructuras educativas, el desarrollo de programas educativos alternativos y la mejora de las medidas de protección para los niños. Estas recomendaciones, si se ponen en práctica, podrían contribuir significativamente a mejorar el acceso a la educación y la calidad del sistema educativo en la región de Ségou. Es necesaria una actuación urgente y coordinada de las autoridades, las comunidades y los socios de desarrollo para garantizar un futuro educativo prometedor a los jóvenes residentes en Ségou.

Este trabajo de investigación se realizó bajo un enfoque metodológico descriptivo y cuantitativo y se aplicó a una muestra aleatoria simple de 108 gerentes de las pequeñas y medianas empresas (pymes) ubicados en la ciudad de Hermosillo, Sonora, pertenecientes al sector comercio, con una fuerza laboral entre 10 y 250 trabajadores con una antigüedad mínima de cinco años en el mercado. El objetivo es analizar las principales dificultades y retos que enfrenta la gestión empresarial y cómo las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC) influyen en el uso de estrategias en el proceso administrativo. Los principales resultados muestran que el diagnóstico realizado mostró que, a pesar de que los directivos de las pymes son conscientes de los beneficios que supone el uso de herramientas tecnológicas en la gestión empresarial, muchas de ellas muestran resistencia a su implementación. Como conclusión final, en la actualidad, la globalización está generando constantes transformaciones y, con el fin de mantenerse en un entorno global altamente competitivo, las pymes deben adentrarse en la era digital y adoptar las tecnologías de la información dentro de sus procesos administrativos.

This study explores the security challenges affecting the education system in the Segou region of Mali. School closures, both voluntary and involuntary, represent a major obstacle to access to education for children, particularly girls, exacerbating problems such as early marriage. These closures also expose children to an uncertain future, marked by increased risks of violence, delinquency and recruitment by armed groups.The article proposes strategic solutions to address these issues, such as substantial investment in educational infrastructure, the development of alternative educational programs, as well as enhanced protection measures for children. These recommendations, if implemented, can make a significant contribution to improving access to education and the quality of the education system in the Ségou region. Urgent, coordinated action by the authorities, communities and development partners is needed to ensure a promising educational future for the young residents of Ségou.

Recently, women¿s empowerment has acquired an important place in government policy, non-government advocacy and academic research.There has been a paradigm shift in development and governance. Democratic decentralization, partnership with NGO¿s, empowering community based organizations, participatory development, sustainable growth and equity etc. have proved to be instrumental in people participation in development and governance as well as their empowerment. The models of micro-finance were evolved in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka etc. and were adopted in India too. Financing through SHG¿s has been considered instrumental in people¿s empowerment, mobilizing thrift and extending credit. The concept of micro-finance in India was introduced sometimes in 1985, however, since 1996 it was widely accepted and implemented.

Este estudo explora os desafios de segurança que afectam o sistema educativo na região de Ségou, no Mali. O encerramento das escolas, tanto voluntário como involuntário, representa um grande obstáculo ao acesso das crianças à educação, sobretudo das raparigas, agravando problemas como o casamento precoce. Este artigo propõe soluções estratégicas para resolver estas questões, tais como um investimento substancial em infra-estruturas de ensino, o desenvolvimento de programas de ensino alternativos e o reforço das medidas de proteção das crianças. Estas recomendações, se aplicadas, poderiam contribuir significativamente para melhorar o acesso à educação e a qualidade do sistema educativo na região de Ségou. É necessária uma ação urgente e coordenada das autoridades, das comunidades e dos parceiros de desenvolvimento para garantir um futuro educativo promissor aos jovens residentes em Ségou.

Concomitantemente, a economia brasileira vem sendo caracterizada por dois fenômenos da maior relevância: 1) a diminuição da sua indústria de transformação frente ao PIB e 2) a reprimarização da pauta exportadora nacional.
