Toutes les nouvelles de ce premier recueil de Mohamed Laïd ATHMANI, une dizaine, ont paru dans les journaux algériens :« HORIZONS DE L¿Édition », « Nouvelles de L¿Est », « Parcours Maghrébins », « Variétés MAGAZINE » tout au long des années : 1988/1992. L'ensemble des nouvelles traitent du mal-être et des appréhensions qui prédominent chez tout être humain. "L'angoisse dans l¿¿uf" est une véritable nouvelle à thèse. Le 19 Janvier 1974 naquis à Ajaccio le jeune Marc TINOTO, en Décembre 1975 la famille qui se compose d'une fille Maria, âgées de quinze ans, de Marc et des leur parents sont mutés à Nancy en Meurthe et Moselle, le couple exercent la profession d'enseignant, l'époux prends la direction de l'école Charlemagne à Nancy et l'épouse instituteur dans la même école primaire d'application. Le huit février 1978 le couple s¿apprêtent à passé une bonne soirée avec leur deux enfants quand trois individus frappent à la porte, l'époux ouvre et le trio font alors irruption dans l¿appartement, assassinent le mari, violent et tués la mère et la jeune fille et cela sous les yeux de l'enfant de quatre qu'ils laissent en vie. L'enfant sera placé dans un foyer avant d'être confié à un couple sans enfant et très pieux à Colmar en Alsace. Il sera enfant de ch¿ur puis à seize ans entre au séminaire de Strasbourg ayant comme objectif de devenir prêtre. Le 19 Janvier 1998 soit presque vingt ans après l'assassinat de ces parents, il est ordonné prêtre à Reims et portera le nom de Marc ANTONYO. Ne voulant pas être en charge pour l'église il s'engage dans la police ou il gravit un à un tout toutes les étapes.
