Stop for a moment and think of the word freedom. Do you feel free? Are there restrictions in your life denying you this right? In our fast-moving, modern society, the concept of freedom can often elude us. We accept, unconditionally, the path our life has taken, without questioning or altering our journey. By actively participating in seeking a true understanding of freedom we can face our fears, start a fresh chapter, strip back the layers, and take a stand. One short life is all we have; it's your life and you can make or break the rules. Freedom is a right, but not a given, if we hide in the shadows and simply accept our fate. We don't search for it, it finds us in friendship with like-minded souls, immersion in the beauty of nature. You are transformed and re-capture your free spirit once more.

The main characters of this novel are both police officers: one is a senior female officer with a very privileged background, while the second eschews promotion and is satisfied with his lot, despite his privileged background. The book takes its cue from the machinations within the police of the early 1960s, when policing still adhered to the pro-active principles of the Peel Doctrine: all the minutiae of inter-rank and inter-departmental rivalries are brought to light. The novel covers serious crimes like murder and treason, as well as the rivalries between departments of state and a city and county police force. The solving of crimes is left to the female officer; she has to fight not only criminals but some senior officers who seem to be doing their best to undermine her. On the other hand, there are others who wish to enhance her prospects for high office. Her investigations lead her to an unconventional address where she makes a breakthrough in her enquiries; this also brings a whiff of romance into the novel. Through the convolutions of the final chapters, successes or failures in both police work and romance are revealed.

Kick Ass: Changing the Odds through Faith, Will, and Hard Work is a powerful narrative of resilience and determination. The author recounts her journey following a catastrophic accident that left her paralyzed from the neck down, a condition akin to that of Christopher Reeve. In her darkest hour, she turned to Christ, whose response marked the beginning of a remarkable turnaround. Her head therapist, upon her departure from acute rehab, confessed that he initially doubted her chances of recovery. Despite this, she defied expectations. Evie, a Michigan State University graduate, furthered her education by obtaining an MBA on a grant from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She broke barriers as the only female director in the aerospace sector of Allied Signal. Her steadfast faith in Christ provided the strength needed to navigate through her life's crises. Now a mother of two and grandmother of three, she cherishes the life she has been able to resume, despite its limitations. These restrictions once hindered her from golfing for 11.5 years. However, after discovering Balance of Nature, she joyously returned to golf, a beloved activity she thought lost to her, completing the last piece of her recovery puzzle.

Humanity's Deception is a poetry book like no other. Channelled from Source, this book seeks to take the reader on a journey into truth. Both the truth of self and the truth of the society that has created the self that we have become. In a bid to help to release people from the chains that we are shackled to, each poem takes the reader into a deeper understanding and awareness of how we have become disconnected from the true reality of who we are and who we came here to be. My personal mission is to play my part in helping to set as many people free from a system that seeks to control and enslave us as is possible for me to do so. This poetry book is an expression of that mission and a step in the right direction to help people to start to see through the open eyes of consciousness. Whilst this anthology of poems has been carefully collated in an order that takes the reader on that journey into truth, it can also be used as an oracle, opening the book up at a random page and receiving the wisdom of the poem that may be just what you needed to hear on that day. This is a book that should be read many times. The more you go on your journey into truth and the more you discover about who you are and the world in which we live, the more you will discover the hidden depths of the messages within the poetry. Allow this book to be your guide, for the journey into self is the greatest journey that you shall ever take.

It can only be resolved by mobilising an entire family of ants. Each (alphabetically ordered) ant has her or his own personality which assists (or does not assist) in solving the case. The alphabet, perseverance, working as a team, looking for simple solutions to problems and interacting with different personality types are amongst the themes which can be explored and discussed in class or at home. The trouble all begins when Alan the ant cannot find his shoes. He is very angry about this. He needs to call on his entire family to help find them. They all have a role to play - but everything is not as it seems... Who has the shoes and where are they?

How does one navigate life? This is a question asked by most teenagers on the planet, as they step on the edge of being an adult. This is a question I've asked myself for the longest time, as I traversed breakups and fought exams, questioned the very existence of my meaning, which I then expressed in these poems and extracts from my diary. The pages inside this book are windows into my soul. Little cries for help from the past couple of years. The paper these poems were written on listened to me when no one else was there. And now, I hope the words on the paper speak to people, help them realise they're not alone, promote them to seek help and possibly inspire them to live more. These poems are not just poems. They're words from my soul.

During World War Two, a young girl was seen around the Stoke Bishop area of Bristol riding her bike or a pony; climbing trees; building dens, playing with the 'gang' in Blaise Castle Woods, and a lot more besides! This seemingly carefree life had its darker side as the storm clouds of war thickened and broke overhead. Riding Through the Storm recalls the author's life before, during and after the war. It is tinged with humour and remarkable occurrences and mirrors that time with insights into how people lived during those dark days. Nearly eighty years after the storm subsided, the full significance of what the author had lived alongside came to light and propelled this drama almost into the realms of make-believe!
