On a Leicestershire battlefield in 1485, the course of British history changed. One man, a minor Welsh noble, was instrumental in effecting this change, enabling the establishment of the new Tudor dynasty. This little-known historical figure was Rhys ap Thomas, who claimed descent from Urien Rheged, one of the knights of King Arthur. Born in Carmarthenshire in West Wales, he had spent his early years in Burgundy with his father, in exile, as had two other men, Henry Tudor and Richard III. The three young boys were to meet many years later on the battlefield, where the lives of all three would change forever. This is the story, set in the turbulent period of the Wars of Roses, of Rhys ap Thomas, whose claim to fame would be 'the man who killed Richard III'.

"We'll have to leave. This country has had it." My husband made the decision and I followed along feeling like my heart was being ripped from my chest. Robert Mugabe switched the trigger that changed our lives. He announced that University in Zimbabwe would be for black people only. We were white Africans and so needed to find a place where our children would have educational options. Australia was the obvious choice. This memoir takes the reader on a journey to places most Australians have no idea exists in their own country. The isolated, remote locations where Aboriginal people live, not as their ancestors had done but propped up by government welfare. Wild places where hunting and gathering had become recreational rather than a way of life and where western culture, knowledge and values were imposed on ancient knowledge and ways of being. The confused, bastardised culture emerging felt like stepping into hell. The dregs of white society had gravitated north; economic refugees, criminals, drunks and druggies and God botherers all trying to survive in a melee of heat, dust, flies, mosquitoes, and topical downpours. We were not welcomed. This is where my story began.

The Candid Sea is an anthology of assorted poems that endeavors to transport the reader to a sequestered island of abstraction and awe. It is concocted with allegories that intend to stimulate the reader with its figurative word craft and deep allusions. The candid sea is as deep as the oceanic girth and as fluid as the mosaic English literature. With its creative sorcery it shall make the readers fly with the semantic breeze and walk with an unshaken ecstasy that is drenched in exuberance, delight, and a casual nonchalance. Hope you like it!

Come, sit with me for a while, as I bear naked to you - a stranger, a lover, a friend - my soul. If you would come to know the collective sighs of my sorrow, you would hear a monstrous moaning. Let it fill your ears and filter into the core of you. Let me be known in these, my darkest hours. Like tiny filaments that expand in breadth and depth let the anguishes of my existence rest for a moment upon your flesh as my words enter your consciousness and infiltrate your bloodstream. For a moment...become me.Poetic and visceral. Excruciate: a raw and poignant tale of betrayal. A man looks back on his adolescent love-affair and finds the truth of what actually occurred...exploitation and catastrophe.

DRUMBEATS encompasses a diverse collection of poems inspired in large measure by Native American beliefs and traditions. Poems in the collection are framed in language that evokes vivid images and deep emotions - language with natural rhythm, internal rhyme, alliterative phrase, and unmistakable resonance.Perhaps the most pervasive theme emerges from repeated references to burial mounds: archaeological monuments that relate to spirituality, reverence for the past, and the human need to engage in reflection and self-examination.Native American burial grounds are earthen temples. To stand quietly and alone before an ancient mound is to resurrect the past, glimpse the limits of human understanding, and conjure the far-off sound of drumbeats.

I fired my second editor in 2016 after 10 years, and I asked: "Why are you changing my book and putting in voices he supposedly is hearing in his head like a schizophrenic?" Louise responded, "Well he would have to have been crazy to carve up those women in that way." I resonated "If he was a schizophrenic, then I'm a schizophrenic, you've been brainwashed by social media, he was a killer!" Then I hired my third editor/proofreader, Harold Winberg, who translated technical instruction manuals into six languages. I knew he would pay close attention to details and not change, or distort the message. To understand one's psyche, as a trained psychologist I know, you have to start at the true beginning. You can't just jump into London 1888 during the Jack the Ripper murders and begin chapter 1 there because it's thrilling, at first glance he would appear a deranged psychopath, at the least. John or Jack was already a skilled horse slaughterer at age 17, he could slit the throat and sever the vocal cords of horses with a sharp knife - a silent killer. Oh, a knife, The Ripper, why is a knife so much scarier than a gun? Because it's personal and intimate.

Jesus is one of the world's best-known historical figures, but how well do we know him as a boy and a man? What do we know of his parents? Was his father really a poverty-stricken carpenter and his mother a simple uneducated country girl? Who were his friends and associates? What was his true message and passion? How well did he relate to the women in his life and who was 'the disciple that Jesus loved'? This story answers these questions and is based largely on the New Testament gospels, but with the addition of material from other sources. It contains elaborate dialogues and settings, body language and emotional content. His true message is brought to the forefront, and we see the beginning of the first church in Jerusalem. This is the Jesus story as you have never read it before! Revealing a man with incredible spiritual connection but in every other sense a real and masculine man. A man that you will want to know so much more intimately.
