From Different Places came from life experiences, the homelessness, the problems with family and friends. Which had me to put this book together, it took a while because I wanted to be right. The emotion is all over this project, By know means was this easy the write. The concept of From Different Places start when I lived in Upstate New York, I moved because I was tired of the name calling, and all the lies, so I moved away. The travels came full circle, I loved the road, that was a way for me to release all and not care what any body said. This are my words, I'm being honest, and truthful, and a love writing.

This is the first in a series of cookbooks that will be published to honor my mother and extraordinary Italian cook, Giovanna Morelli Falbo. It contains my mother's favorite recipes, those she brought with her from her home in Italy, and that nourished our family and friends as we grew up in Abington Pennsylvania. The next edition, "Giovanna's Legacy: An Italian/American Kitchen," will feature recipes I've developed, using principles I learned from her through the years as we prepared meals together. The book is a collection of over 180 recipes preserving the Italian heritage of a remarkable woman, my Mom. Born and raised in Calabria, Italy, these homemade meals embrace the essence of a woman who loved feeding others and watching their delight. The collection includes recipes from traditional Italian holiday meals to everyday celebrations and dining. You will find recipes such as Antipasto, baked ziti and lasagna, pasta with fennel, olives, tomatoes and pine nuts, rice patties, baccala salad, chicken and veal piccata, roasted pork with fennel, pepper and potato frittata (omelet), stuffed eggplant, Easter Pie, Italian Wedding soup, pizelles, cherry pudding cheese cake, biscotti, tiramisu, marinara sauce, plus more.

Talking about Writing is for high school teachersand students who 1. need a common vocabulary with which to discuss written language; 2. desire a working knowledge of the chief elements of sentence structure, grammar, usage and punctuation as they apply to the writing process; 3. demand an integrated approach, and a sequenced format adaptable to individual lessons; and 4. appreciate the help of an Answer key. A mechanic immersed in the intricacies of engine repair doesnot ask for a "thingummy" or a "whatsit."He or she names the tool and holds out a hand to receive it.In the same way, teachers and students poring over the productsof the writing process need a basic common vocabulary withwhich to discuss the work. They need to make mutually understandablestatements which will clarify and improve the material under review. For example, "This sentence contains a misplaced modifier"is more helpful and precise than 'Don't you think puttingthis bit in a different place will make the sentence sound better?'Talking about Writing supplies this basic vocabulary. The text has a simple format. It teaches the recognition ofthe nine sentence errors which writers commonly make. Itintegrates the grammar necessary to understand each sentenceerror. Sentence combining, usage, and punctuation exercisesstrengthen writing technique.Talking about Writing fills a need for both aconcrete objective in English language study and a teachingplan. It provides a method of entry - the nine sentence errors- which is useful to many: beginning teachers, for example; teachersof other subjects who have been asked to pick up one or two blocksof English in the timetable; teachers who wish a clear explanationof the language in the writing process; or parents who run homeschool.A further advantage is to make a connection between theteaching of English language and other languages; such as,French or Spanish. Students studying a second language are expectedto recognize, for example, a direct object or a past participlein order to make the necessary agreement. The grammar componentaccompanying each sentence error encourages the transfer of thisknowledge from one language to another.Talking about Writing is sequenced and self-explanatory.In each chapter the material progresses in simple and logicalincrements to the desired end; namely, to recognize a sentenceerror in order to discuss written work, practise effective writingtechniques, and empower communication. In order to prioritize exploration activities, oil and gas companies need to follow a framework. This important procedural envelope is critical to the success of any oil and gas venture. Decision makers need to consider a multitude of variables before they decide whether or not to pursue any petroleum project. Before a decision to drill a well can be made, some important questions need to be answered; some of these questions revolve around the need for assurance that a well will bring wealth to the organization or parties that drill it. A decision maker therefore has to start by asking whether a venture is worth pursuing from an economic perspective. The answer to this question forms the heart of petroleum investment; and supporting this process by building petroleum economic models is what this book is all about. This book offers a basic understanding of the methods required to build economic models for valuing upstream petroleum projects. The book offers an overview of the fundamentals of some of the major petroleum contracts, simple commercial concepts and how to use them for creating valuation models.

This is a children's book for adults. It contains some of the stories of the misadventures of a very brash and outrageous doll that lived in my aunt's handbag who would come out and whisper things to her which she would repeat. Some of these stories are based on real events that happened to Piggy and my aunt, Daphne. A painting was made of him by a well-known artist, he was thrown out of a train window and he did kick sugar off of tables and jump into people's tea cups. Several poems were written about Piggy which I did not include in this book because I do not have permission from their authors, but a letter written by my great aunt, Buddie to Piggy is incorporated into one of the stories. . As children, Daphne's nieces and nephews as well as her friends were often entertained by Piggy. Those of the family who have read these stories have told me that they are an accurate portrayal of Piggy.

To understand this book you have to go back to 1990.I was in my early twenties and the recession was on in Australia.I lived alone in my one bedroom flat and got into the music and club scene.Overnight I started to write poetry everyday and bought my first acoustic guitar. The experience was profoundly spiritual and at times supernatural.I knew then that I had a calling and that I would follow it my whole life.I published my first book in 1997 (Dream Engineering) and will republish it next.I will also publish another much larger collection that is Dream Engineering unedited. These three books make up the entire story. The book (Avenue Dread) itself is best described as a spiritual, poetic, journey to find truth. It was written in many different locations and over a period of ten years. It is made up of many small, individual poems with a few long exceptions. The work as whole had very little editing, unlike Dream Engineering which I heavily edited. And now will present in it's true form. Avenue Dread is a story of darkness that finds the light. There are many themes that run through the entire collection. Some of the things I try to say may be a little abstract. But overall I think the message is clear. It has the element of love, it also has darkness and light because these where all the things I experienced.I found God and was able to finish my last book. It is my hope to inspire people to God.The poetry also blossomed into music which I also hope to present. You can see my music and contact me at magcorp@hotmail.comFacebookCavador Muse

This book is a collection of groundbreaking essays in the area of metaphysics and Esoteric subjects. The book covers several contemporary topics of extreme interest. Some of the titles are: The Paradox of Life, Fallacies and Deceptions in Occultism, The Fallacy of Predictions, Psychological Resistance to Wholeness, The "Original Sin," The "Adversary and the Redeemer," From Fear to Faith, The Dialectic and the Qabalah, among other influential topics. These subjects have been of utmost importance in the developing of the author's intellectual and personal growth from a provincial and materialistic state of mind to a spiritual and broader awareness in fields related to the conception of man and the universe. Therefore, the articles are the product of long reflections, meditations, and a life long search for the spiritual meaning of life. Furthermore, the essays attempt to demystify and dispel basic misconceptions accepted as true by common opinion. They examine and question several fundamental erroneous concepts traditionally believed and accepted as conventional wisdom. In addition to informing and educating the reader about some very innovative issues, they will also help to separate "the grain from the chaff," so to speak, regarding preconceived misconceptions on metaphysical and other related areas of thought. In that sense, this book is definitely thought provoking, as it challenges many customary beliefs

The CIVIC is about human civilization, cooperation and progress, virtues, beliefs, opinions, and promoting global peace and friendship. The CIVIC is a modern worship book that was divinely inspired for those who believe in unity, peace, and the divine Spirit of God that has been called by Many Great Names. The CIVIC teaches that we are all a part of God's universe. We were all born naked into this world, and when we depart, we cannot take anything with us, except our spirit or soul, and where does it go?Life is short, so enjoy your life and make it the best it can be; our lives are short journeys in the vastness of time.Human lives are fragile and our spirits may become uncertain, so we seek God for reassurance.Let us give praise and thanks to God, in good times and bad.Let there be no more religious fighting, but respect of different spiritual beliefs, and let there be peace among all people. Our unified belief in a Spiritual Creator should be more important than the religions that humans have created.Humans cannot comprehend the actual truths that exist in the divine realm; faith is what we call it.If humans do not come together in peace, kindness and cooperation to save the world, the world may not exist for future generations.

March, 1969. Another season would soon change in America. Winter was ending and the warm breezes of spring were melting the snow. The earth would renew itself as it has done for thousands of years. The generation of Americans which had been born since the Second World War was becoming young adults. Termed the ''Now'' generation by themselves, many made plans for the up coming year. Fueled by ''Rock N Roll'', ''Free Love'', and the "'Anti-War Movement'' these plans would bring change to a troubled country. The ''Summer of Love'' would be the answer of this which many needed.Half a world away, another season was about to change and other members of the is generation made other plans. The Dry season in the Central Highlands of Vietnam would soon end. It would be replace by the Monsoon season which would come out of the west. For this reason, young American soldiers would again enter th Valley of Death which was called the Plei-Trap.The War Above the Trees is the story of the air crews flying support to the men of the 4th Infantry Division during Operation Wayne Grey in March and April of 1969. This is a day by day account of what happened as seen through the eyes of a young crew chief. It includes After Action Reports and eyewitness statements of both air crew members and infantry personnel which were on the ground. This is not a story about the war, but rather the story of the young soldiers who fought there. It tells of the brotherhood formed by the small things which was part of our lives. A meal shared with friends. The time spent together which would bring relief from the madness of the war. It is not the story of heroes but of young men doing their jobs in a war they did not understand. This is a factual account of an operation few people have heard about. It was not written to judge the actions of the people responsible for its planning. Its main goal is help the people who were there still looking for answers thrity years later. It is also a tribute to our borthers who died and the hope that their families can find some closure to their loss.
