True story of a very talented man who experienced a career ending accident and overcame impossible odds with the help of God

This journal was a vision the Lord gave to me. He told me, it was going to be a must have. That everyone will want to have it. I smiled, and laughed within myself. Telling the Lord, "I receive it." From the title, the cover, and the contents. The vision was very clear. The Lord will not give you an assignment without the directions going forward. He wanted a way to help others heal. That my testimony, poems, and the scriptures. Will help encourage, and uplift the person reading them. In hopes that along the way they might have that breakthrough from the Lord. Philippians 4:6-7 says, (6) Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (7) And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Stay on the wall, and never give up. Nehemiah was given the task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Stay focused on what God has called you to do. Remain steadfast and trust in His plan. For Life is worth the living, because He lives!

In a nutshell, Christianity is one of the greatest if not the greatest hoax ever perpetuated on people in the history of the universe. It is practically all fantasy of one sort of another that millions of people believe in all over the world and have done so for many centuries since Christianity began. It all could have been made up out of whole cloth. The Old Testament cannot be taken at face value as the creation story was most likely borrowed from other sources and adapted to fit with the author's purpose of explaining how the world began. The Exodus may be entirely fiction and most certainly did not happen the way it is described in the Bible. As far as the New Testament is concerned, it was written decades after the crucifixion of Jesus by people who were not eyewitnesses to the events they described. There may have been a prophet whose teachings drew many followers, but there was certainly no virgin birth, no miracles, and no resurrection. The purpose of all the apocalyptic writing and second coming of Christ may have been motivated by the oppression of the Roman Empire where the Jewish people felt powerless and needed to believe in something that would provide them with a feeling that in the final analysis justice would be done and they would get their revenge. Thus, Christianity needs to be exposed for the fraud that it is which is what this book attempts to do by looking at the history of Christianity, Biblical scholarship, and other aspects of Christianity along with its alternatives.

For my readers: I would love you to open this book with a cup of chai or coffee. And some cookies even, because why not? As you read this, you may pause and say, "I get this". This book is a mixture of poetry and thoughts written on paper when reflecting on experiences or in a moment of thought. My hope is that you find something that resonates with an experience or thought, and there is that "aha" moment. If something makes you laugh or smile, great! Teams, organizations, and institutions rise and fall on leadership. The simplest definition of leadership, and the one I prefer, is leadership is about influence. Most people think they can define leadership - good and bad leadership - but you definitely know it when you see it. Also, most people can easily tell when leadership is absent. In this study of the leadership lessons inspired by the judges, from the book of Judges and 1 Samuel, I will highlight situations when there was good, bad, or no leadership present. The common theme in the book of Judges starts with apostasy, oppression by a foreign antagonist, Israel's appeal to God, God's raising up of a 'deliverer,' and the peace that follows, and oftentimes the turn back to apostasy. I love the study of leadership, have been in the midst of it my whole adult life, will study it the rest of my life, and believe it is of highest importance regardless of environment.

Well probably the best way to describe this book but I guess is by saying that these are my recovery poems or poetry written during that process. They are my overcoming trauma and alcoholism and me picking up the pieces of what was at the time my broken life. The poems here helped me get through that tough year, they helped me to become myself again. I selected these ones special and gathered them all here to share with you. I worked hard at putting this book together, not only because it is my first book but also because all the poems here are very special to me. The dead ball era (through 1919) was an era noted for its scientific / small ball approach, when teams played for one run at a time by out-thinking the foe, bunting, stealing bases, "hittin' 'em where they ain't", creating a mental hazard for the opposition by doing the unexpected - and Ty Cobb was its leading practitioner.

Emma and the Tooth Fairy is about a young girl who has her first loose tooth. She is afraid to pull it out, so she decides to leave it in her mouth forever. Emma has a big surprise when her tooth comes out unexpectedly. Emma puts her tooth under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy to trade for some money. She is concerned about the different amounts of money other children have gotten for their teeth. She feels that it's unfair that some kids get more money than others.
