For my readers: I would love you to open this book with a cup of chai or coffee. And some cookies even, because why not? As you read this, you may pause and say, "I get this". This book is a mixture of poetry and thoughts written on paper when reflecting on experiences or in a moment of thought. My hope is that you find something that resonates with an experience or thought, and there is that "aha" moment. If something makes you laugh or smile, great! My wish is that some words will be inspiring, moving, motivating, and helpful to you.

Teams, organizations, and institutions rise and fall on leadership. The simplest definition of leadership, and the one I prefer, is leadership is about influence. Most people think they can define leadership - good and bad leadership - but you definitely know it when you see it. Also, most people can easily tell when leadership is absent. In this study of the leadership lessons inspired by the judges, from the book of Judges and 1 Samuel, I will highlight situations when there was good, bad, or no leadership present. The common theme in the book of Judges starts with apostasy, oppression by a foreign antagonist, Israel's appeal to God, God's raising up of a 'deliverer,' and the peace that follows, and oftentimes the turn back to apostasy. I love the study of leadership, have been in the midst of it my whole adult life, will study it the rest of my life, and believe it is of highest importance regardless of environment.

This gives the president the opportunity to reduce China's role in America and padlock federal government departments to get the funds and labor for much-needed Infrastructure Projects.In the end, the CCP is forced to negotiate a Peace Agreement at Camp David. America gets another chance to be the beacon of freedom in the world while its leaders are guided by the second greatest document ever written-the Constitution.

Well probably the best way to describe this book but I guess is by saying that these are my recovery poems or poetry written during that process. They are my overcoming trauma and alcoholism and me picking up the pieces of what was at the time my broken life. The poems here helped me get through that tough year, they helped me to become myself again. I selected these ones special and gathered them all here to share with you. I worked hard at putting this book together, not only because it is my first book but also because all the poems here are very special to me. They are what helped bring this dead man back to living his life. I enjoy them and I hope you do to.

The dead ball era (through 1919) was an era noted for its scientific / small ball approach, when teams played for one run at a time by out-thinking the foe, bunting, stealing bases, "hittin' 'em where they ain't", creating a mental hazard for the opposition by doing the unexpected - and Ty Cobb was its leading practitioner.

Emma and the Tooth Fairy is about a young girl who has her first loose tooth. She is afraid to pull it out, so she decides to leave it in her mouth forever. Emma has a big surprise when her tooth comes out unexpectedly. Emma puts her tooth under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy to trade for some money. She is concerned about the different amounts of money other children have gotten for their teeth. She feels that it's unfair that some kids get more money than others. She looks to her mama for some answers about this problem. During their nightly bedtime story, Mama tells Emma and her sister, Abby, about her own experience losing her first tooth. The girls learn that they aren't the only ones in the family that have had problems to deal with. The girls discover that their experiences are very similar to the ones that the other members of their family have previously encountered.

I began this book with the express purpose of making it the definitive comparison of Secretariat and Man o' War. I feel that I've succeeded. By engaging the discipline of applied statistics to compare the legendary achievements of these two horses, I am being completely honest about my two primary audiences-the serious Thoroughbred racing fan and those desiring a clearer comparison of runner quality that only the lens of basic statistics can provide.The statistics in this book are basic and are completely explained as the text progresses. This book portrays me accurately as an individual with a severe case of OCD as well as a form of Tourette's syndrome. He becomes a guardian - stopping abuses of Darren Trupp's Brown Shirts who barge into people's homes - stealing valuables and assaulting women. The Truppers use drones equipped with cameras and lasers to surveille and attack individuals they deem to be rebels. The Resistance is coordinated by Gerald Hopkins from his office in Wolstein's factory. Hopkins and his aide, Mason, provide Nancy and Sam with guns, bullets, grenades and dynamite to fight the Truppers. There's a plan by the Truppers to sabotage a coal-powered generating plant - shutting down power to the North Shore. Nancy, Sam, Freddy, Billy, and others engage the Brown Shirts in a gun battle outside the plant - routing them into the swamps of Travis. After the gun battle at the power plant, Sam moves in with Nancy. Soon, an old Army tank appears on Eggert's Field, the grass-and-flower filled field across the street. A well-aimed grenade takes care of the tank, but a new challenge appears in the form of a refurbished World War Ii destroyer.
