We think just like you out there in society(s). However, some of us (not all) have our thinking processes manipulated by both external and internal forces, and as well as synthetic products (drugs, alcohol, etc.). War, rape, abuse, (mental, emotional, spiritual etc.) also play factoring roles. Another factor is our uncontrolled, unchecked, and or unlearned "e;selves."e; Trying to use anger for every situation, believing things like "e;Big boys don't cry."e; Not understanding Love, and or the many emotions within self. The media, and Filmmakers have all projected the atrocities of prison life, but have failed to capture the intimacies of us "e;Ex Felons and "e;Ex Convicts"e; whose minds have not been encapsulated by the "e;systematic mental manipulation"e; of "e;Thug Life,"e; the streets nor prison institutionalization.

You Never Know Who's Listening, shows how even when life is challenging, it is made better when you help others, and helping others is contagious. When someone helps one person, that person is then likely to be inspired to help others. Even the smallest acts of kindness make a difference. This is a story of Eli's family giving of their time and talents to others in their community and how that comes back to bless them because, You Never Know Who's Listening.

Aliera Wants to be a Giraffe is a story about a little girl who goes to the zoo with her mother to learn about giraffes. While learning about the giraffes, she learns something cool and soon wants to be a giraffe. After a while, Aliera learns being a giraffe isn't so cool after all.

The book is about a young Indian Boy that grows up in a small town in South Dakota. There is a section of the town that was for all the Natives to live that was called "e;Indian Town"e;. The boy grows up in poverty and endures all the hardship that goes with being poor. He eventually drops out of high school in the tenth grade to go into the service. This was his only option to get out of poverty and learn a trade. He finishes his military training and is sent to Vietnam where he ends up doing two one-year tours. He completes his enlistment with the service and moves to North Dakota and works until his retirement in 2009.

This is the spellbinding chronicle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' religious dawning and their beginning in the idyllic woods of New York state. It then follows their most challenging odyssey as they are driven out of their homes by great cruelty from four different states, and then finally completely out of the union itself. In the middle of the winter, women, children, and men were forced to cross the frozen Mississippi and head for their new home in the rocky mountains of Utah. After a year and a half of many trials on the trail, they finally made it to the great basin and settled alongside the Great Salt Lake to build a city. Fifty years later Utah became a most beautiful state of the union.

Over a three year period, I experienced three life-changing events. In 2019, I finally answered God's call and began the process of ministry candidacy in the United Methodist Church. In 2020, COVID touched the lives of everyone--affecting the way we work, learn, and interact with others. In 2021, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare cancer that affects the white blood cells and weakens the immune system. These three events, though being separate occurrences, will forever be connected in my life through the valuable lessons learned through the three year period. My experiences with my calling, COVID, and Cancer has nurtured me into becoming a better Christian and family man--and will prepare me for whatever life has in store in the future. This book presents insight on five lessons learned through my calling, COVID and cancer experiences. It is my prayer that these five lessons minister and empower those going through similiar experiences in life.

I believe it's extremely important for the children all over the world to be aware of strangers and the possibilities of what could occur. This books is also an excellent teaching tool by making it easy for parents to bring it up to their children.

The duality of man is a fact of life for every human being. Our job as humans should consist of training the flesh to be in subjection to the spirit. We are never fully at peace from the war that is constantly being waged against our spirit. Whether or not we are tuned in to our spirit, it is there, very much alive, and it is usually dominated by the flesh.

Innumerable books have been written on declarer play. Far less attention has been paid by bridge writers to defense, which is the weakest part of most players' game. This book presents a series of problems in defensive play, the central theme being active versus passive defense. This problem may start with the opening lead, arise at Trick Two, or be a decision later during the play of the hand. Going 'active' when one should have remained 'passive' and vice versa is probably the most common defensive error players make, allowing contracts to slip thru. One of my greatest rewards is to bring a smile to a child's face. They love to see farm animals and reading the nursery rhymes. As a small child when I would spend my summers in Southern Illinois, I loved the farm animals that were in the area. All the farmer that I would see were farmers of color. With this book, I decided to put a farmer of color for my illustrations so that little children of color could assimilate with the farmer in this book. The example, this book offers, will give my grandchildren and your child a better understanding of how kindness to animals can rank as a moral virtue in every society. My wife, Karen and I, (Karen has passed away) had four children and 14 grandchildren. The birth of those grandchildren brought great joy to us and motivated me to create a story upon the birth of the first eight grandchildren, the first in 1986 and the last in 1998. Each chapter lists chronologically the names of these eight grandchildren. One of the stories was created as I was driving one night from a YMCA job interview in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Kokomo, Indiana, where I served as CEO. This book contains Christmas stories I created for children to enjoy. It begins with Santa's dog who gets lost and must be found so he can accompany Santa on his trip. Other unique characters are introduced, the Blue Angel, Miss Frilly Fox, a little boy named Bo who could fly, the walking trees, how snow began, the batmasters Desmo and his brother Rufus, the twin girls I and Y and many more. My grandchildren took great pleasure from reading their stories and I'm hoping to instill imaginative minds in others. Older children will enjoy reading the stories themselves and younger children having them read to them. The stories provide the children with something to think about. Many people said I should put these stories in a book, and so I did!
