Welcome to the adventure!When I was growing up, the idea that being Catholic was an "adventure" was the farthest thing from my mind. You just "were". And, pretty much, memorizing some definitions and what "rules" you had to keep in order to be "saved" completed the picture.Then why would I entitle these challenging reflections to aid our life's journey: FREE AND HOLY WHERE YOU ARE? Perhaps because many Catholics don't feel freed by the "rules", and don't feel they will ever be truly "holy". Only for priests, sisters, or monks could "where you are '' possibly promote holiness! Yet the "Daily Life of a Catholic" is exactly where we always are with Jesus as our friend and confidant, and members of His Body, the Church. Be prepared to choose a hundred thoughts or phrases you'll want to remember for the rest of your life.

Robert retires from the Paterson Fire Department to take a job as Public Safety Director of the Federal Government in Washington DC. On his second day on the job he wakes up to ¿nd the President and the ¿rst family has been murdered. It is a terrorist plot against the United States Government.The Director and his stä try to solve why the President was murdered. He has to perform his job as Public Safety Director even when he becomes the target of the terrorist. The Director has to learn how to think like a police o¿cer, not a ¿re¿ghter. His job is to deal with The White House Police, the FBI, Secret Service, and District Police and Fire Departments, and a Civilian review board. He falls in love with three women but has to be careful not to get into a Washington Scandal.

Who is our God unleashes who He really is and what He expects from us, also how much He loves you and how He can change your life forever for the Good! He gave His life for all of us, and we just take it for granted, I don't know about you, but I don't have anyone who would die for me and love me that much. God never gives up on you, so why should you give up on Him? He changed my life, I have an amazing God, and so do you, if you would only tap into what He has for you.

Both small and greater beginnings are all good and appreciable, nevertheless, not all may have enough resources to start big. However with time God will make all things possible in his own time. There is possibility that someone may start small and grow to become great in the near future. Someone can also start big at an initial stage and remain at that same level. All depends on you preparedness and the faith you have towards your dream goals. Many at times, greater beginnings may cause loss. That is the reason why it is so expedient to start little to test your ability first and see how much you can cope with your God given dream. All the same, both small and big beginnings are all good and welcome.

A kid's memories of war and postwar I wrote this book on June 6, 2019, 75 years after D-day, the greatest invasion the world has ever seen. Seven thousand ships, 150.000 troops, 4,000 American and British deaths on the very first day! The courage of the men, who jumped from the landing ships into the sea, sometimes drowning with their heavy equipment, and stormed the beaches under heavy fire from machine guns, rifles, and artillery salvos, is unimaginable. This historical novel spans the reigns of the Roman Caesars Tiberius through Nero. It tells the story of the fledgling early church and how they were impacted by Roman law and rule.
