Shades of Shade is a coffee-table book containing a collection of my poetry and original artwork illustrating the poems. The poetry is a depiction of life, short stories, difficult topics and taboos that exist in many countries. These realities have inspired me. I hope to bring awareness and understanding of these conflicts that exist in many societies around the world. I have chosen to hire thirteen artists from different countries to showcase their varied styles and mediums of art. These illustrations depict and demonstrate the base meaning of my poetry. I am hoping this book itself becomes a piece of art.

Mr. and Mrs. Downing raise geese on their farm, so many geese you wouldn't believe your eyes, geese here, geese there, honking noisy geese every where. All the geese looked forward to the spectacular "Shake Your Feathers Contest", held during the summer inside the big red barn. Every family that participated wanted an opportunity to win the beautiful blue ribbon trimmed in gold. Each participating family enters the barn to shake ö all their feathers. The family with the largest pile of feathers wins the blue ribbon. Eleanor, the newest member of the Downing Farm, is a quiet little goose. Unlike all the other goose mothers, she had only one egg in her nest. The other geese would tease her, especially Mean Melvora, who just happened to have the largest number of eggs, would say, "we don't have to worry about you contest day". Eleanor ignored their teasing because she was certain her one little egg was a very special egg. The eggs hatched, and every goose mother paraded their family around the farm yard proudly, including Eleanor, with her son Martin, as she reminded him how special he is. Time passed, soon it was contest day. The mothers continued to tease Eleanor and their children teased Martin, saying "we don't have to worry about you contest day." Well, Martin didn't like being teased and convinced his mother to participate in the contest.

Travel to Ebony Island where two lives connect. One is a female Velociraptor and the other is a woman veterinarian named Laura Sinclair. Both find a common bond when the lives they care for the most are threatened. Facing insurmountable odds, like running into an enclosed area containing a meat eating dinosaur to save her husband and the Raptor traveling hundreds of miles to search for the one person who can save her hatchling, shows each one what friendship really means in an effort to survive.

You have new birth when you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior; which makes him your King and advocate or lawyer.This is a collection of thoughts in a poetic style of Poems- Psalms- Proverbs-Parables- and Plays. They give faith and praise unto the Lord Jesus, who is the saver of all humans. Some of these thoughts are funny, some are sad, and some will have you ask why. In everything always praise and glorify Jesus for what he is doing in your life. And if you have a thought; write it down, you may never know who may read it. Get enough it also may become a book.
