This book is a collection of poems that are inspired by the Holy Spirit and the author's faith in Christ. These poems have been written over a period of several years. They are meant to be shared. This book is meant to be an encouragement to all who read it. The author believes that God wants us to have hope, even when, sometimes, things may not be going our way. This collection is intended to be a tool to help believers understand how much we mean to the Father in good times and in tough times, He cares about us and "e;He Still Speaks"e; to us. The author's hope is that people will read these and allow Him to speak to them. He speaks to us in so many ways, that we sometimes miss the message we are intended to get. This book is a way for Him to speak to us through poetry. This book will be a good read for all ages. So, pick up a copy, enjoy, and tell all your friends.

About the book /why read When God Works Incognito, by Fred Beck. It would be presumptive and self-serving to say, you should read When God Works Incognito. I can say the autobiographical vignettes, that are the main body of the book, will give you a real glimpse of the joys and challenges of one missionary's life and work in South Asia and Southeast Asia over a period of thirty-three-plus years. On the surface, it is my story. Beneath the surface, great flowing currents of God (the Creator-Sustainer-Savior) are active and personal. You will gain a glimpse of mission strategies; how some real missionaries live, work, grow in Christlikeness, and yes, sometimes struggle; how missionaries partner with local believers to reach their own people; and much more. The book also seeks, by real-life illustrations, to quietly answer the question: Is God even interested in what happens on earth? More importantly, does God act in the life and affairs of mankind? There are multitudes of unbelievers and scoffers. The Scriptures tell us that "e;God is spirit"e; (John 4:24). They also tell us, "e;a natural man"e; (a person without God) "e;does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them"e; (1 Corinthians 2:14). Thus, the natural man's understanding is limited to the physical domain-empirical matters that he can see, touch, or verify. The Scriptures continue, "e;But he who is spiritual"e; (a person who believes in and walks daily with God) "e;appraises all things"e; (because he has the mind of Christ; 1 Corinthians 2:14-16). Thus the spiritual person can understand, in part, both the physical and spiritual domains. Therefore, the spiritual person is equipped for interaction with God and learns, by experience and scripture, to recognize God's presence and activity, even when God works incognito.

John's gospel is unique. What makes it unique is the author, John, and the perspective he brings to the person and character of Jesus. John was Jesus's closest friend. You might say his best friend! Peter, James, and John were part of an inner circle that Jesus included exclusively. Only these three were allowed into the room when Jesus raised the synagogue official's daughter from the dead. Only these three were invited onto the mountain to witness his transfiguration experience. It was John that leaned on Jesus's breast at the Last Supper and was told who the betrayer was. And in Jesus's moment of deepest distress in the garden before his death, only these three were invited deep into the garden to pray with Jesus. But more than all that, John was the first disciple to be chosen and the only one at the very end. Only John was at the foot of the cross comforting Jesus's mother while the rest hid in fear. And it was because of John's unique relationship with Jesus that Jesus committed the care of his mother to him. John writes long after the other gospel letters had been distributed among the churches. John describes seven miracles, five unique to his gospel. John includes seven "e;I am"e; statements and is the only writer that uses the phrase "e;Truly, truly..."e; to underscore the extreme importance of these statements. John writes not as a follower, and not just as an eyewitness but as Jesus's best friend. And John writes for one single, specific purpose: "e;That you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name"e; (John 20:31). To miss this is to miss the very reason for your existence on this planet!

In your hands, you hold a book that will give you an insight into the spirit world, and will tell you what happens to the mortal at time of death. As mortals, we fail to understand how short life is, because an 80-year life only equates to two hours of God's time, as per Psalm 90:4, and 2Peter 3:8. It is only when we reach the spirit world that our real life will begin. What makes these messages so special, they come from spirits living in the spirit world, and tell you how it is structured, and about God's great gift of Divine Love - the love from his soul to yours. This was a gift first given to our parents in the Garden of Eden, but was rejected. Jesus brought this gift back to man giving man the ability to be saved, because it removes sin. I only ask that you open your mind, explore this book, and read the excerpts analyzing each by using common sense.

Creeds have existed in the Christian church for centuries. As effective as creeds may or may not have been in the past, nowadays they have been relegated to the junk pile of irrelevancy largely due to pervasive biblical ignorance. On the other hand, there is the view that creeds are harmful because they do not fully explore the Bible doctrines and might lead people into error. Creeds were originally teaching tools used to instruct converts to the Christian faith. In the face of modern biblical ignorance and the general lack of understanding of the Christian faith, it seems that at least one of the old creeds could be resurrected to acquaint newcomers, if not many established church members, with the essential points of the Christian faith. The simplest and most eloquent of the ancient creeds is the Apostles' Creed. In this book we explore the points of the creed, ascertaining their biblical basis and their significance in the Christian faith. The word creed is derived from the Latin word credere, meaning to believe. Christians believe something, but what is that something we believe?The Apostles' Creed is a starting point for explaining the Christian faith, and it is inclusive of all the essential teachings of Christianity. It is easy to memorize and to recite, and for that reason, it is a useful tool in sharing the Christian faith with those that do not yet have faith.

In my many years of attending Bible study, I have found that many who attend barely grow beyond the level of being fed the word of God. I started writing my feelings early in the morning after my daughter's death, not knowing or imagining what our future would be. I know many families suffer tragedies. I decided to finish this book after 10,220 days from my daughter's death and more future tragedies in order to help families and individuals with sufferings in their lives. They say that after the loss of a child, 75 percent of marriages end up in divorce. I hope from this book, people will see the root cause and the remedy for their future. I also wrote it to show people that God is the same today, tomorrow, and in the future. We tend to lose track of ourselves after unimaginable losses. This book took rivers of tears and didn't come together without the lessons that were taught to me and remembered from my deceased children. This journey took me through my shattered faith and the road back. I hope people will read and understand that a shattered heart and mind can be healed to a degree that they will not forget the past but are able to find a brighter future.

Hi, my name is Nick Brooks; and to start, I would like to thank you for reading this devotional. It all began when I was working at a fabrication facility as a welding inspector. I had the responsibility of speaking about quality topics at the weekly safety meeting. I had not been saved very long, so I was very zealous for the Lord, and I began to testify and just say something about Jesus during the meeting each week. Everything was going great; everyone at work started getting curious about God and started asking questions. Many of them I did not know the answer to, but that gave me a chance to look up the answer in my Bible and learn God's Word for myself! Then one day, during a safety meeting, the foreman didn't give me an opportunity to speak! I was devastated. I didn't know why he didn't let me speak! I was determined not to let that stop me. My coworkers had started looking forward to me speaking and had started asking me what I would be speaking on the following week! THEY HAD BECOME HUNGRY FOR THE WORD! So I wrote down what I was going to say, made copies, and passed them out to everyone. Everybody complimented me on it so much, and at that time, I felt led by the Spirit to begin a new adventure in my life. During all my free time, I was studying my Bible and praying, asking God for guidance and direction, and to let the Holy Spirit use my hand to write the words that He would have these people to read each week! Every week, I typed and printed a devotional that was inspired by God. Sometimes I had to dig in the Word all week long just to complete a two-page devotion. Then at other times, it felt like the Holy Spirit took over and a four-page devotion was finished within just a few hours. Either way, the Lord had guided me in the writing of each one of these devotions, and I pray that they will bless each one that reads them! I pray that they inspire each one of you to give the Lord Jesus Christ praise, honor, and glory!
