When you think of disability, what comes to mind? You might assume that it is a medical term, but I was surprised to find out it is not medical. It is a legal term. Understanding disability is the first step of being stable. I have included my testimony as it pertains to the Word of God. I have some resources for you in the book: I have a few devotionals, some mental health worksheets, and I teach you how to do routines and to plan to reach your goal of becoming stable.This book will teach you how to be a published author and increase your income and leave a legacy for the next generation. This book will help you practice using your imagination and get your creative juices flowing to come up with your vision.A vision is something that is the end result that you want to accomplish. A vision is important because you don't want life to make decisions for you. Deciding if you want to create a legacy of faith for your kids is a life-and-death situation. There is life and death in the tongue. This book has practical information that you can apply today to reach your vision.

The teachings and directions found in the Bible given by God (between 1500 BC and AD 100) are meant to remain alive and practiced by believers till the second coming of Jesus Christ.From my conversations with Christians in different countries and continents, it has been noticed that a large majority of Christians are culturally and traditionally tuned to biblical teaching modified from centuries. Needless to add that Satan has an active part in these changes. As a result, now we are a fractured Christianity. When religion becomes confused, the truth becomes distorted.Life is too busy for many to read the Bible and contextually understand it. The Holy Spirit is the real author of the Bible; we cannot negotiate with him.This book is divided into twelve topics. Each topic is presented and explained exactly as it is given in the Authorized King James Version (presentation not impacted by any denomination). Millions of Christians have differences of opinion on these topics, and they interpret and follow them differently against the unchanging God's command--"I am the Lord I change not"--as seen in Ecclesiastes 3:14; Malachi 3:6; Revelation 22:18-19, besides others.Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Yes, the emergence and formation of the church on this earth is because of the Bible and its everlasting truth. Deuteronomy 7:9 says , "Those who love Him and keep His commandments, God's mercy is with them for a thousand generations."Get connected with God through prayer and through reading his Holy Word regularly and contextually. It is the author's hope and prayer that the readers of this book will be inspired by the leading of the Holy Spirit and led to a spiritual restoration.

Has anyone truly understood the many nuances of relationships and navigated them successfully? I would venture to say no one. Mother, daughter, father, son--I would still say none.Keep in mind that a man and a woman or a romantic relationship seems to be the most problematic. Everyone wants to be loved, but receiving and giving love are two completely different things. The heart is a delicate thing; in the wrong hands, a heart can be torn to pieces.This book can both help and save you from heartache and pain. Just trust in God's Word and guidance. You'll find peace, love, and joy when you lean on and depend on God's guidance.Unfortunately, there are too many who don't believe in or know much about God. Who is Jesus? This question about the identity of Jesus is the defining question of Christianity. It is asked time and again throughout the Gospel accounts. It is asked by the Jewish crowds, by their religious leaders, by Herod Antipas, by Pontius Pilate, by John the Baptist and by Jesus' own disciples. Jesus asked His disciples, "Who do you say I am?" and the question remains relevant through all of history. In fact, it is the most important question each of us will ever ask and answer.In order that we may answer this question, the Gospel accounts provide a large volume of information on Jesus' identity--much of which comes directly from words that Jesus spoke. What better way to learn about Jesus than to study about His life and instruction, as told by people who knew Him, lived with Him, walked with Him, and were taught by Him. The Gospel accounts and this study are centered around the question about the identity of Jesus.My previous study of the Old Testament, Understand the Old Testament: The Story Jesus Completes. The Promise Jesus Fulfills, emphasizes how Jesus is revealed in the Old Testament. This study continues to focus on Jesus as revealed in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. This study follows a chronological path through the Gospel accounts. I love how the stories fit together and provide flow and context to enhance our understanding of the message. I believe this kind of study allows us to see a more complete picture. In this study, we get the opportunity to compare and contrast how the different Gospel accounts tell a story. It is also easier to remember what Jesus said and did when it is in the context of the story of His life. You may be surprised how well the Gospel accounts can be synchronized and placed in order. The Gospel accounts use connecting words (then, next, at that time, while, after that) that indicate chronological order. There are also time markers in the Gospel accounts. When we pay attention to these markers, we can see the story as it unfolds.Another goal of this study is to provide information on the Jewish and Roman cultures in which the accounts take place. When we add context to our study of scripture, we gain a better understanding of its message.Through our study of the Gospel accounts, we will see how Jesus answered many of our questions.Who is Jesus?How are we to live in relation with God?How are we to live in relation with each other?What is the Kingdom of God?What is God's goal for us?What did Jesus accomplish?What is the New Covenant?Who is the Holy Spirit?Let's get to know Jesus more deeply. As new believers, we understand that we have invited Jesus into our lives. As we mature, we realize that we are invited to participate in the life of Christ. Let's accept His invitation.

After being labeled for the majority of my life, I was frightened by the things that would occur. It was fear that kept me in my cage. Being sexually abused, abandoned by my father, my childhood was taken away. I even hated to see myself in the mirror, and in my mind, I became a reflection of all the things that I didn't want to see. I never imagined that I would have to endure so much pain, that God would allow my life to become so unpleasant, until I realized that it wasn't about Rose McDonald. It was to be used for his glory.As you go through the pages of this book, as you go through everyday life challenges, you will hit some barricade that can only control you temporarily There will always be some ups and downs, good and the bad, for his glory. Only God can restore you. If you are tired of being stuck, this is the right book for you. If not, just remember that God didn't and will not break his promise. Even through the pandemic, I still rely on him to carry me. After you have done all you can, just stand and remember that "no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17). That is why I am still standing.

How difficult is it for you to make changes in your life? For many of us, changes can be extremely difficult. This is especially the case when these changes require us to alter long-standing habits of living. Does it make a difference when we realize that proposed changes could have a significantly positive impact on our lives?We all know that changes do occur for us throughout the course of our lives, many of which we have no control over. For example, we go from infancy into childhood, from preteen years into being a teenager, from young adults to adulthood to elderly individuals. Other changes are brought about through our own choices, such as who we have as friends, who we marry, the job we pursue, the location where we live, when we will retire, etc.These changes, and many others we did not mention, should be quite familiar to us. That's the case because such changes all exist within the physical setting; they are things we can see and touch, things that are very real to us. However, as important as these physical things are--and I would agree that they are important to us--there is a realm which is far more important, one that should demand our strictest attention, and that is the spiritual realm.In this study, we will endeavor to consult God's word in order to discuss examples of people who made dramatic changes in their lives, changes for the better. My hope is that many of the people we consider will be familiar to us, even people we can identify with personally. Ultimately, we should understand that making changes, even on those occasions when it will be quite painful, can result in a happier life, both now and forever! After all, God does know what's best for each of us, both now and forever!My prayer is that we all come away with the conviction that change is possible and that we can change for the better.

Our King (Jesus) is looking for a harvest. Remember the fig tree in Matthew 21 and Mark 11? No more fruit ever grew from it again. It was cursed, and it died the following day! We must stay diligent to remain in the vine! Jesus says that "He's the true vine" in John 15, and if we remain in Him and He in us, we will bear much fruit. However, apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. The heart of the Call to War is prayer and the art of using prayer to conform to the Son of God (Romans 8:29-30). How you receive this seed will make all the difference in your life, as our brother Hosea (Hosea 10:12) told us to "break up of fallow ground" to make our soil ready to receive the seed of the Word! Throughout the centuries, the life of Jesus has been extensively documented and recorded through various sources such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, movies, stories, and the Bible. While there have been descriptions of Jesus by scholars and his apostles, no painting or drawing of his likeness has ever been discovered. Instead, depictions of Jesus have been portrayed through historical pictures, paintings, and statues. In recent years, significant findings, such as scrolls containing stories of Jesus in the Dead Sea area, have been unearthed in caves, leading to ongoing excavations in search of further artifacts from the past.

John, the author of this gospel account, introduces us to Jesus Christ, the Word that "became flesh and dwelt among us." John's concern is the nature and person of Jesus and the meaning of faith in Him. The purpose for writing this gospel account is found in 20:21, which says, "These things have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name."As a member of the Twelve, John was an eyewitness to the miracles of Jesus, an eyewitness to the teachings and preaching of Jesus, and an intimate friend of Jesus, identified within the gospel as "the disciple that Jesus loved." John's unique perspective comes from being a member of the "inner circle" of Peter, James, and John. These three men were present at all the key moments of Jesus's ministry, including the Last Supper, the garden of Gethsemane, and the Mount of Transfiguration.For three intense years, John watched Jesus live and love; he listened to Him preach and teach; John saw Jesus crucified, and at the foot of the cross, Jesus transferred the care of His mother to the disciple whom He loved. John saw the risen Christ, forever changing his life from a hot-tempered youth to a devoted, fruitful follower, and pillar of the early church.Are you a devoted follower of Jesus Christ? Over the years, I have written several stories. Most of them are about experiences with my own immediate family, but some have been told to me by my extended family and friends. All of them are true. In some cases, I have changed the names of those involved for obvious reasons.Good stories must be preserved so that future generations can enjoy them. As a family historian, I so wish that I had talked with my parents about their lives. It would have been fun to have recorded more of their stories. Fortunately, I recorded a few of them before they passed away and included them here.Besides entertaining the reader with this book, I hope it inspires the preservation of your favorite stories.Some of these stories will hopefully make you laugh. Some may make you cry. With others, you will shake your head and wonder what these characters were even thinking. But then, I always think wisdom is obtained by making mistakes and learning from them. Some are stories of faith while others are left to fate. There will be twists and turns. However, in the end, lessons learned.Most involved the first time I encountered another person. I have included stories where we experienced something for the first time. Just for fun, I threw in a few funny family stories for good measure. Sometimes, I felt a little like Forrest Gump with a few close encounters with historical figures.All are short vignettes, or as my sister calls them, "little slices of life." So please sit back and enjoy the ride with me.

Today, there are many attacks against the Word of God, but I believe in the authority given to us. The Bible is not referring to the mythological unicorn, the horse-with-a-horn creature of fairy tales and fantasy literature. In my study of the unicorn, I am led to believe that it was a wild ox. I believe it was a real creature of great strength.In Numbers 23:22 and 24:8, God compares His own strength to that of a wild ox. Deuteronomy 33:17 is a part of Moses, blessing on Joseph. He compares Joseph's majesty and strength to a firstborn bull. Moses prays for Joseph's military force, picturing it like a unicorn (wild ox) goring the nations.In Psalm 22:21, David asks God to save him from the powers of his wicked enemies, described as "the horns of the unicorns." In Psalm 29:6, the power of God's voice shakes the earth, causes the great cedars of Lebanon to break and "skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn." In Psalm 92:10, the writer confidently describes his military victory as "the horn of an unicorn."In Isaiah 34:7, as God is about to unleash his wrath upon Edom, the prophet Isaiah draws a picture of a great sacrificial slaughter, classifying the wild ox (unicorn) with the ceremonially clean animals that will fall to the sword.In Job 39:9-12, Job compares the unicorn or wild ox--a standard symbol of strength in the Old Testament--with domesticated oxen. I believe the unicorn is now extinct throughout the world.
