At times we simply need enlightenment as we sit in the darkness of making difficult decisions. As we look for a light to shine upon us, we learn we need to make a conscious choice to switch the spiritual light on to help in making those difficult decisions. Only when we experience the light can we truly see that life is worth living. All we need to do is look up and shine like a star.

In my book, there is a poem, "Body, Mind, Heart, and Soul," which says a lot about everything I write about. There are many beautiful things and places that God has put on this earth for us to enjoy, but men are destroying it all. The morning sunrise, the clouds, the stars--just look up, let your eyes and mind search through it all.Forget about a world that is too lost and misunderstood, and like me, pray to be a blessing to someone in some way each day. It will put a smile on a lot of faces. I hope I can touch someone with my poems. It means God's blessing to all who believe.
It was through drive and divine intervention that God gave me the courage to write what he wanted men to know and to remind them that he is still in control.We live in a time of uncertainty; we are subjected to circumstances and situations which will challenge our very existence.The church is not a denomination; however, we are the churches. Not the beautiful synagogues or lustrous cathedrals, it's us. We are the church of God in crisis.We want to do so much for the Lord that we have forgotten about our obligation to the Lord. Yes, we are in a crisis before God because we have desecrated his temple.

Solzhenitsyn (1918-2008) was a Russian writer who won the Nobel Prize in Literature for his work, which shook the hearts of humanity. He had a very strong faith in God.Much of his life was associated with death. His father died before Solzhenitsyn was born. While serving in World War II, Solzhenitsyn witnessed the death of most of his teammates. In 1944, one year before World War II ended, his mother died. When exiled by Stalin to the Gulags, he witnessed the deaths of most fellow prisoners. One day, when the press asked him if he was afraid of death, Solzhenitsyn shared that when he was growing up, he was often obsessed with death and feared that he might die before completing his dream of writing literature. But after the age of thirty, he began to realize that death is not the end of a life but is only a natural milestone that divides two worlds: the world in which we now live and the world we will go to. From then on, he felt his heart always at peace when he thought about death.Death is only a natural milestone: "And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). Death is something no one can avoid, but death is not the end. The problem is that, after dying, where shall we go?
