This book was inspired by true events.Confirming the word of God in the King James Bible stating, "For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifested nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light" (Luke 8:17), secrets are similar to a cow in the pasture that thinks he's free. God knows the secrets of the heart. Having an honest conversation with God can change anyone's life.Proverbs 28:13 tells us, "Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy." Amen.

Just when I was at one of my lowest points in life and thought I could not lose weight, God spoke to me through a morning prayer, and this is the reason I have written my book, Each Step I Take. God, you have directed Donnie and our WW story from start to finish. I pray for each one of you who struggle with weight issues to please take time to read what God has done for us and what God can do for you. It's never too late to start. Now being a senior citizen myself, I know exactly what senior citizens say: "I can't lose weight. It's too late for me." Well, think again. Donnie and I were both in our sixties when we started. I was 71 years old when I reached my goal and lost 215 pounds, and Donnie was 75 years old and lost 165 pounds. I always say, "If Becky and Donnie can do it, you can too." Keep a song in your heart!

Poetry has been part of most of my adult life. To me, it is there for every person as they experience life.Only some, however, pause enough to see it and then take the time to write it down. Each person's experiences are also uniquely individualistic. So I hope that at least a few of these poems speak to you and connect with some of your own life experiences and then maybe even bring a smile, a new insight, or a tear. There are seven chapters in this book. I have attempted to slot each poem into one of the chapters that I felt was best matched with the poem. However, in reality, I am sure that some poems could have been seen in more than one chapter. Creative thoughts can't necessarily fit into a nice and simple niche.

Why are some families more blessed than others? Why do some families flourish where others fail? Pastor Michael Annancy reveals powerful guidelines and truths from scriptures that enforce the success of children and families everywhere. When a child understands the importance of honoring their parents and those in authority, even when they are past the age of simply obeying what they say (although obeying one's parents cannot be separated from honoring one's parents), they unlock incredible blessings and the promise of living well and living a long life on earth while breaking the destructive chains in their lives here and now. In this book, they will uncover how parents can be well-informed to follow God's ultimate plan for their lives. Children are a blessing from God. Parents have a part to play to get them to the point where the children leave home so they can reach and meet their target. Just because a parent made it does not mean the child will make it. They have to be taught and trained and learn the secret of true freedom, for this is right. 1

Spiritual Enlightenment is a collection of poems that deals with spiritual teachings, relationships, and human interactions that invokes dialogue for the betterment of humanity. Furthermore, it is my intent to awaken social consciousness through my poetry that encourages self-introspection and spirituality.

When my son died, he was six years old. The day we buried him, the Lord and my son came and paid for his funeral. Three months later, the Lord took me to heaven, I found my son and had a short conversation with him, and the Lord talked to me and gave me some messages to give to the world. It was not a near-death experience!2

What is most important is that I hope you were inspirited by the story. There is way too much negativity in the air these days, and it is my hope and prayer that the story spoke to you in a positive way. If every day were like Christmas, "what a wonderful world this would be!"ImagineOur once homeless people have jobs and a place to live.Our veterans and elderly are being cared for as they should be.Our streets and schools would be safe for all children.Our world is at peace."Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me."

Gentle Breeze is the continuing story of our hero, Tim. Tim finds himself battling for another soul, Colton, a stranger from the past who is fighting many demons inside his own mind. Tim connects and begins to share his own experiences. Using his own knowledge on his journey over the chasm, Tim can recognize when Colton hears the voices and can relate to his troubled soul. Throughout the journey, Tim becomes entangled in battle of the townspeople versus Colton yet holds firm to his belief that Colton is not who they think he is. Many voices plague Colton's mind, but only the cool, smooth, and calming voice of the Gentle Breeze can settle his mind and soul.

A longtime friend who raised four daughters had just welcomed their first grandson into the family. She made a special request of the author to write down any thoughts or advice she could give to her grandson as he grew up. After a month and a half of prayer, the Lord began to reveal what was to be shared with the young child. The following seventeen faith experiences over a period of sixty years were never intended to be a book. The Holy Spirit moving others to inquire caused the author to consider publishing those experiences.A lifelong journey of personal encounters with the Holy Spirit that range from seemingly ordinary to the extraordinary. Direct encounters with God's angels that saved the life of the author on four occasions. Later, four individual occurrences where the angels made their presence known upon request, providing real evidence to the author. Plenty of proof that God exists on a personal level. Time is nothing more than a series of brief moments strung together by life. For many, those brief moments during their life's timeline are composed of a mixture of emotions-i.e., happiness, sadness, solitude, disbelief, and denial. Hopefully, this book will bring peace and enjoyment to you, the reader, allowing reflection within your own life and at times, perhaps even give you a new and/or different perspective of awareness into various other people's lives. Sin has many different names but the same face. No matter which sin it is and the severity of it, sin is simply missing the mark, falling short of the glory of God. Genesis in Poetry is the whole book of Genesis of the Bible written in poetry form. I felt the need to use the art of poetry to better emphasize the flow in which one hopefully will better grasp the content of Genesis in the Bible. Furthermore, Genesis in Poetry uses Bible reference numbers similar to those in the Bible. My aim is to have people read the Bible daily with the art of poetry as a tool.
