Most of the plays are related to Kyrelle's experiences throughout his lifetime. For instance, in "Duke Harry," Harry is substituted for Harold Bowie, which is his real father's name. This play is about his relationship with his father. Kyrelle says he has obtained the gift of rhyming and writing genetically from his grandmother, Pearline Tardy (God rest her soul). He's keeping the legacy alive! He also says the drive and motivation came from his mother, Dorothy Harris.

Being a parent and watching your children interact with each other is priceless. As a mother watching Malia protect and comfort her brother over the years demonstrates the strength of the sibling bond. Although Tommie had his own learning challenges with hydrocephalus, it was clear his sister was his voice and driving force whenever he needed it.Facts about children with hydrocephalus: 33 percent have visual impairments, 35 percent live with seizures, 27 percent have cerebral palsy. This little story is actually my story. I wanted to let children know that this disease is out there, and they may be confronted with it. By making it seen through the eyes of a child, I hope to remove the fear and replace it with understanding. Kids are quite smart.

Immigrants to Americans tells the story of my family's journey from immigration to raising a family and teaching them how to be truly American. They were taught to adopt the language, customs, and values of America. They did not turn their backs on their heritages but became Americans first. These values, especially religious values, were ingrained in my generation. But there is a danger now of the country collectively losing its shared vision of what America or being an American is. All have experienced pain at some point in life. The idea of a pill for every pain has been overused. There are many other options to choose from when managing mild to moderate pain; however, most will think first of which pill can fix this. I have put this information together all in one easy-to-use tool. I have created an easy-to-use book of ideas to give options for pain control, which will lead to better pain management. These ideas/methods can be used by both medical professionals and laypersons. Many are free and readily available to all.

First of all, this is not a self-help book. This a journey to discovering the true beauty that each of us has resonating on the inside. Getting married, having children, pursuing a career, and not knowing our true identity is a train wreck waiting to happen. I have lived on a continuous merry-go-round. The merry-go-round starts out slow paced; then, it increases speed, and finally, one day you realize that you cannot control the speed (not that you were ever in control anyway). As a woman, we go through life carrying pain from place to place, never really getting the healing that we need. Yes, there is some surface healing, but it crumbles when we find ourselves back in a position of vulnerability. We go through life taking pictures based on our pain, our experiences. These pictures that we take, we place them in frames and hang on our walls. Some of these pictures we allow others to see and some of them we keep hidden in the background. We look up one day and realize that all the pictures that we have taken have created the person that we are currently. Not all our pictures are painful; there are some great pictures that each of us has taken. My prayer is that the good pictures, the pictures that make us smile and give us warm, cozy feelings, outnumber the pictures that cause us to hold our heads down in shame, guilt, and regret. Let us lift our heads. We are more than our past and our experiences! God has great plans for us, and He will finish what He has started!
