The book was designed to help young ministers and laypersons understand expository preaching and the work of preaching or pastoring in God's church. Using our experiences and personalities in expository methods of preaching can help us to transmit and communicate through the Scriptures the writer's historical context as we are led by the Holy Spirit who applies our personality and experiences as we communicate them to the hearers.

This book, Waiting: Your Prayer Is Heard, was birthed in me by God from Him bringing me through the waiting process to fulfilling His will for my life. Until your prayer concerning your desires are manifested and your faith becomes sight, it can be a difficult process to go through. I thank God for the delay to help me understand how He works.Waiting: Your Prayer Is Heard shows my waiting process, the Lord revealing to me Luke 1:13: "Fear not Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son and thou shalt call his name John." The Bible already declared that Elisabeth and Zacharias were stricken in years, which in my estimation was not praying for a child at that point, but during their early marriage and childbearing years. The Lord revealed to me their prayer went ahead of them, He delayed their answer, causing Elisabeth's barrenness until His appointed time, as John, their son, was selected to be the forerunner of Jesus Christ. It was a special birth due to the work John was chosen to do, he had to be born in the timeline of Jesus and was 6months older. This story and revelation were clear in my waiting period as I saw the hand of God in answering all my prayers in a specific way when God revealed my husband. I was able to see every unique conversation I had with the Lord through the years being packaged in him whom God sent, but I had to wait until God completed His work in him. We must know God hears our prayers despite the answer not coming immediately at times. We also must understand that God knows us best, and He is able to make the choice for us instead of us making it for ourselves. We can receive God's permissive will, but there is a joy that comes when we wait for the fulfillment of His divine will in our lives. Whatever you are praying for to be fulfilled in your life, as you wait, inquire of God what He wants you to do. This book highlights the processes you will encounter, ways to avoid distractions and the steps to take in maintaining your blessing when God has fulfills His promises to you.

This book includes three fictional stories that center around individuals commonly referenced in the nativity events in the Bible. By dramatizing specific characters, the stories show how these individuals exercise faith and perseverance to overcome obstacles and accomplish their own divine purpose.The first story, "A Dove in Darkness," shows how Mary reacts to her divine calling and doubts her ability to raise Jesus. She worries about how Joseph will react when he discovers her condition and if he will understand his role in joining Mary to raise Jesus.The second story, "Honey from the Rock," shows how a shepherd feels betrayed for fathering a daughter with a deformed leg. When he witnesses the angelic announcement, the first thought he has is to take his daughter to the child in hopes she will be healed.The last story, "Star of Destiny," follows one of the wise men, Melchior, who is determined to find and worship the holy child even though his health is fragile, the weather is harsh, and many of his companions leave the caravan to return home. When he does find the Christ-child, he doubts this young boy could be the divine King foretold by scripture, but his doubts are proven wrong when he encounters the child who saves his life.Hopefully, these stories will increase the reader's faith and help them understand the personal sacrifices each person paid to play their part in the divine plan.

At first glance, it might look like a random collection of stories, poems, insights, and homilies. However, each of these writings began as an entry in my journal--the place where I write about what I think about. The chapters are grouped around the cast of characters who have walked with me in my original road show: my family, people I've encountered along the way, the living words of Scripture, and my Heavenly Father. He didn't use protection, and she was inexperienced, so she had no clue what to do. She had the talk with her mother but really didn't know about that sort of thing.John told her that he couldn't be the father because he had a childhood accident. She told him that she never cheated on him, and the baby was his. He left her standing in the middle of campus, crying in Jennifer's arms.She let her family know during Thanksgiving break. I lived with DID or, as most people call it, split personalities. I lived this way most of my life. There are thousands of people that live this way, but just like me, they are afraid people would look down on them or make fun of them once they were diagnosed. They, like me, will not understand what a very hard life it is to live this kind of life. I am not only writing for the people that suffer from DID, but I'm writing it for the families that live with this horrible condition, and so maybe they can love and understand unconditionally.Hopefully, people with DID can find a Christian counselor so they will understand more of what they are going through and get help. Everyone that has DID had some kind of trauma in their early life, and God gave us a way to handle what happened to us through our other personalities. I pray that by the end of my book, people will feel hope and love again, even against those that hurt them. My prayer is that this book reaches hundreds of people and their families while they do the very hard work it takes to get healed. And trust me, one can get healed because I did through our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you all, and my heart truly goes out to you all!
