Writing poetry is her passion and she uses it to explore her bipolar, depression, and anxiety. She writes to make sure that no one feels alone in their struggle.

Her post-graduate work included attendance at Bowie State University, where Elementary Education was her field of study. At the conclusion of her college experience, a Bachelor's of Science and a Master's Degree were received. Rose is married, and she and her husband have two adult children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She lives in Maryland with her husband.
