This book is based on the writings and video presentations of Barry J. Setterfield. Two fields of science, plasma astronomy and stochastic electrodynamics (SED physics), are combined to make a cosmology that can defend the Bible's claim that light was created before the sun, and that "the heavens in their vast array" were completed in less than a week. This cosmology can also offer explanations for many things that puzzle astronomers such as why there appears to be missing matter in the universe, why the universe appears to be expanding (but isn't), why so many nebulae are symmetric, and why the most distant galaxies look mature. Setterfield's work is based on the research of many distinguished scientists over the past century, including current "pioneer" physicists who are examining the fundamental principles underlying matter and space.

After a description of the various types of limestone around the world, the author lays out four problems with the standard theory of how limestone formed in warm, shallow seas. The rest of the book describes an alternative theory for the formation of limestone, suggesting that most limestone came from inorganic sources, possibly from mineral-saturated water that had been under the crust of the earth since its creation. In a global flooding event, this mineral water came to the surface, was sorted into layers by liquefaction, and formed a large portion of the world's sedimentary rock layers.

This is the student text portion of the curriculum "Dissect Your Dinner" for ages 10 to 16. This student text is included in the full curricula book, "Dissect Your Dinner." The student text is offered separately for teachers and parents who are teaching multiple students and would like each student to have their own copy of the text. The text has six chapters that correspond to the progress of a meal: beverages and condiments, appetizers, salad, main course, dessert. In each chapter we find out what is in each food, right down to the molecular level. All standard food chemistry topics are covered at some point in the book, but perhaps not in the order that other food chemistry texts do. The topics are covered as we come to them in the imaginary meal presented in the text.

This is a complete curriculum about food chemistry for ages 10 to 16. The first half of the book (130 pages) is the student text which gives all the information needed. The text is lively and includes some cartoons and whimsical humor while still providing a high level of content that is suitable even for high school students. The text is organized around the theme of dissecting a meal down to its molecular components. We learn about all the standard topics of food chemistry as we look in depth at each food: water, salt, sugar, milk, butter, cheese, bread, meat, beans, potatoes, plant-based meat, eggs, gelatins, meringue, chocolate, sweeteners. There is also a short history of the discovery of vitamins, plus explanations of saturated and unsaturated fats, trans and cis fats, omega-3s, triglycerides, saccharides, enzymes, and more. The second half of the book is the teacher's section which provides suggestions for labs, experiments, cooking activities, crafts, and games.

This workbook gives you all the template pages you need to do the video ecourse "Mapping the Body with Art." The curriculum provides 86 lessons on human anatomy and physiology, presented as drawing lessons. The student watches the video lessons and draws along with the presenter in the video. There are information pages that go along with each video lesson, summarizing what you learn as you watch the video. In the back of the workbook you will find quarter-page sized examples of all the finished drawings, as well as some of the color pages you need for various activities (such as games) that go along with various lessons,.

Carbon Chemistry is an introduction to organic chemistry for ages 10-15. It is intended as a follow-up to "The Elements" by the same author, but can be used independently if the student has some basic knowledge about atoms, molecules, and the Periodic Table. The first section is a student booklet of nine chapters, covering topics such as the structure of a carbon atom, hydrocarbons, alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, functional groups, soaps, plastics, rubber, nylon, carbon dioxide and monoxide, calcium carbonate and limestone, the carbon cycle, radioactive carbon (carbon-14), and quarks. Despite the "heavy" nature of the topics, the text is light, easy-to-read and even humorous in many places. There are review questions at the end of each chapter, plus some review word puzzles. The second half of the book is a teacher''s guide that provides additional activities including games, songs, recipes, lab experiments, skits, crafts, and even a dance.
