This is a story about my mom's journey with Alzheimer's and my role as a caregiver. Although I graduated from nursing school and became a nurse practitioner, nothing prepared me for this role! We had many challenges and struggles along the way. Not just my mom, but also me! I have written the story but also have added special sections for caregivers to learn along the way. It offers tips on providing care for various issues such as behavior issues, sleeping issues, eating problems, depression, taking care of bed-bound parents, etc., and also taking care of yourself while caregiving. Caregiving is very hard work! Women who care for Alzheimer's patients are at an increased risk for developing Alzheimer's themselves. Two-thirds of Alzheimer's patients are women! If a wife's husband gets Alzheimer's and she takes care of him, she is at a six times greater risk to develop Alzheimer's herself. I have also included resources for caregivers to find help.

Exotic dancing is a popular industry and can be an easy way to earn quick cash. My goal is to educate people on what it all entails by sharing my story.I talk about my firsthand experience, customers, the condition of the clubs, how owners and most of the staff treat the dancers, and how dancers are treated outside of the club, if they are truthful about what they do for a living. My experience goes from how I started dancing to what made me hang up my stilettos for good.I also talk about my daughter's experience as a dancer a few years after I quit, and you will see that things have not improved. In this new and exciting book, you'll intimately come to know my journey from four years old to present time and my ascension to the level of master teacher, Reiki master, author, and co-owner of the Healing Environment Center in Smyrna, Georgia. Growing up in a time when there were very few Black men who outwardly showed empathic and energetic gifts made it challenging to accept the divine masculine and the divine feminine empathic gifts that I was born with, so I was forced to go at it alone on many occasions to lean on every lesson and challenge that I faced to ultimately learn and grow. The limited beliefs that I acquired in my younger years enabled me to hide my true self and my many psychic gifts in order to be accepted. I ultimately found truth in the acceptance and love for who I am, as we are all part of the Creator. This book describes the divine path that was carved out for me well before I was born in this life and how I intricately chose my parents for lessons that I needed to learn and picked every major person in my life who helped me grow and evolve consciously. My intention is that this book will provide hope and motivation for all that read it and have comfort in knowing that they are going through similar lessons in their own lives and journeys.
