My name is Oluwabunmi Funmilayo Akano. I was born on November 1975 to the family of the late pastor Johnson and mrs. Shijuade Famuyide. He provided services in the community to a broad spectrum of people for 40 years - quietly touching the lives of many in the community. There was no quest for personnel recognition. Otherwise, he is a licensed collector, a jazz collector, pays a musical instrument (alto tax), likes old cars, and owns a 1964 Ford Thunderbird (in good condition).

Vol 1. is a collection of poems written between 1996 and 2010. I always had dreams of being a published author and one day having my words available to the world. Saying; "I''ll get to it tomorrow" or waiting for the perfect time wasn''t going to help me get to where I wanted to be. I had seen too many examples of how tomorrow wasn''t guaranteed.
