The Connecting the Dots 21 Devotionals book, seeks to highlight one thing to its readers - there is a better way to live on earth, through understanding principles of God's Kingdom and actively living with a Kingdom mindset. Operating under and by the world's system of living is nothing but difficult. It leaves many frustrated, burdened, exhausted, and discouraged. Sadly, much of the world lives under this mentality. Many people do not understand principles within God's Kingdom nor more importantly, how to apply what is taught in the bible to everyday life. Through this series, the author uniquely outlines how God has used personal experiences from the author's life in each devotional, to educate him and now his readers, on principles of God's Kingdom and how the understanding and application of these may renew our minds spiritually and mentally, and be of practical benefit during our lives here on earth.

Social change is more than a political statement or demand; it is a moral and spiritual imperative. If this is so, then it involves the whole human being in the way he perceives and thinks, feels and relates, and acts on and impacts the world. This work gathers the threads of pioneers and visionaries in various aspects of social and cultural renewal. Paradigms of "e;include and transcend"e; offer us paths along which the personal and the global are intimately intertwined. Through established pathways and processes we can experiment with new ways of being as we impact our immediate world. Practically speaking, this book explores three avenues to change. At a first level we can start to recognize that society is built around three poles. Besides the public and private sectors, civil society has emerged to play a crucial role and alter dualistic thinking. If we think beyond capitalism and socialism and all their variations and combinations, new unthought-of frontiers and possibilities emerge. It is possible to expand our practice of democracy beyond the majority/minority dynamics to the inclusion of all stakeholders. A new art and science of civic collaboration can break the gridlocks of polarization and opposition. We can engage in a new area of honest, energetic collaboration moving beyond weak compromise, through an array of social tools that have grown in the last forty to fifty years and have now reached full maturity. Lastly, we can expand organizational and social forms in ways that completely break away from the past. We can reconcile both entrepreneurial and participatory paradigms and transcend top-down or bottom-up models in ways that our intellect alone cannot fathom. Paradigms offer generous visions but are also exacting masters. The new revolution will request as much of ourselves as we will request of the world.

"e;Like a shadow that does not depart"e; is the exciting biography of Ananda, Buddha's attendant during the last 25 years of his life. In an age before writing, Ananda heard and memorized all of Buddha's estimated 84,000 sermons and 15,000 stanzas without omitting a syllable. He also strongly advocated a Buddhist order of nuns, which Buddha approved. Although Ananda did not become enlightened until Buddha's parinirvanization, he was de facto Chief-of-Staff for Buddha. Ananda scheduled Buddha's appointments, so he exerted enormous power over who could see Buddha, even the senior enlightened arhats, who technically out-ranked Ananda. Ananda implemented important organizational changes in the sangha as it grew; thereby giving Buddha a planned, structured system for his travels and sermons. He was Buddha's constant shadow. He ministered to Buddha's needs. He set up Buddha's camp when the sangha was traveling. He guarded Buddha with his ever-present staff. Ananda was one of Buddha's pivotal disciples. Without his incredible photographic memory and methodical approach, it is questionable whether Buddhism would have grown into a major religion.

DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ? Why the world came to be filled with discord? If God really exists, why doesn't He fix it? Is there a penalty we must pay for sinful acts? Is there a way we can escape this dilemma? Is the Old Testament important today? Is prayer important in our belief system? Is faith important in our relationship with God? What does it mean to worship in Spirit and Truth? What does "e;Born Again"e; really mean? ********************** I acknowledge that I'm not a member of the clergy, nor am I able to claim an educational degree of any high importance (especially in theology). I do however have many years experience fortified by attending church, Bible study, seeking out the council of the Holy Spirit and learned mentors, and doing some serious praying. The result was this book, "e;My View from the Pew"e;, which when translated means...a layman's attempt to simplify and bring to an understandable and workable theology that which otherwise might be (in some cases) unnecessarily complicated.

This volume of The Dark Corners is not unlike the previous three. As with the others, you will find information here not found anywhere else. This volume is slightly different though, with much attention given to what I consider leftovers and loose ends. I have also addressed some additional aspects of the Lindbergh kidnapping in which many have expressed interest. This includes a chapter on the "e;spy"e; Jacob Nosovitsky and one on Violet Sharp, a topic that I have avoided-until now.
