This book asks the question "e;How are we going to get to a world more-so of free interacting fellow individual people and less-so of restricted groups intrinsically apart from one another? We don't live in a world so much of cultural groups, religions, nations, skin colors, and genders as much as one of fellow individual people- like ourselves. Recognizing your individuality and that of others is not the same as being individualistic- it is not selfish nor self-absorbed- it is instead our most widespread and fundamental common language and honest base of community with each other. The root of prejudice, terrorism, war and many of humankind's problems is a failure of people to recognize and accept their own individuality socially and respect and empathize with the fundamental individuality of all others. Socially we should recognize, empathize, and respect each other as individuals regardless of what groups we belong to. No individual should have their skin color or gender define who they are throughout their lives on this planet. We need to transform into a 'fellow individual' based society rather than one of fundamentally separated groups of people. We can do this without losing our cultures, religions, nations, states, tribes, languages, etc. - we just need to prioritize- and lead with- individual respect towards all other people.

The aim of this volume originally was to occupy my time during the start of and worst of the Pandemic of 2020. As I started, I realized that I could write. For me writing was like surgery without anesthesia. The subject of the volume was to allow others to perhaps learn from my self-induced pain and pain brought by others, Although the sentiments are true to my heart, the examples used and people referred to are not meant to be actual history but lessons and teachings. The aim was not to generate money from my endeavors. It was to give those now and forever life lessons. All net proceeds will be directed to charitable endeavors. I do hope that these pages which follow serve to satisfy this dream.

My poems always meant the world in a single word. As I loved more, hurt more, and cried more, all I had to offer creatively was released into tissues, in my car on the way home from any event, in the shower unable to clean off the stale feeling. Stale, was what I became. Fresh was what decade and now my words mean nothing.

Wildfires are only one of the major threats and challenges that the nation addresses very inadequately. America had been a Beacon of Freedom to many, yet today it fails to live up to its credo, "e;life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."e; It is wracked with turmoil ranging from an out-of-control pandemic to racial and political unrest that has resulted in violence even in the sacred halls of its Capitol. Its economic system concentrates wealth at the top levels of society, while millions struggle for a living wage and governments at all levels have inadequate resources. Since the overwhelming Soviet threat of nuclear devastation receded into the background, the nation faces a wide range of diffuse threats including Islamic radicalism, autocratic governments, global refugee flows, cyber intrusions, and global warming. A National Strategy is badly needed to balance the allocation of resources to best address the totality of threats and challenges facing the nation. That is the focus of this book.

Within the pages of this book comes to life a remarkable young fellow who has all the characteristics every boy and girl, every mother and father, every teacher would love to see in every child. Who is this boy who is found in the middle of nowhere, with no talking ability, no knowledge of anything, who suddenly comes to life inspiring everyone with whom he comes into contact? He is both loveable, and extremely dangerous, if he needs to be. He is courageous, but emotional, strong, but weak. He is likeable - just like most children in this world. He is a young fellow, always moving forward, but he is as vulnerable as a newborn puppy or kitten. He's just a kid, but a kid almost every kid in the world could either aspire to, or wish he was your best friend! I hope you'll look forward to reading this book, and the sequel, which is even more inspiring than this, yet the sequel cannot come unless you read and know this book!

Along These Roads We Travel, and each one of us walks on a different path towards learning, suffering, and happiness. . . These roads unite and confound themselves as we advance through life. Our job as a people is to enjoy and assist those, who in one form or another, have entered our road, without losing sight of our own and destination. This book is a multicultural and intimate overview of humanity's intrinsically existential struggles and expectations today, as well as of our responsibilities toward each other and our planet. These words are inner reflections that include a marked observation of the inequalities and suffering present on this level of life manifestation, and for which we must claim responsibility. Through inner contemplation of our happy moments and devotion to a higher energy, we are able to find the interconnection that Carl Jung referred to as Synchronicity, which, hopefully, will bring us to the discovery of our true Identities and possibilities as human race - capable for caring for and accepting each other.
