Benjamin Lakewood isn't ready to live in a new town. Loud noises and green lights seem to appear out of nowhere and children go missing from time to time. When the captain of the local middle school's ice hockey team goes missing, the two boys gather up some help from Ben's father, an old diary and a few other kids from the hockey team to find out what happened to their friend. Graveyards and creepy old houses are just the beginning for these boys. Will these kids finally figure out the mysteries of Growling Graves or will they be sucked up into a vortex of other missing children?

This isn't an ordinary journey. Old enough to know better, Kenneth Wilson sets off to cycle from Hadrian's Wall to Rome - with a cello on the back of his bike. Every day en route he makes music - at impromptu as well as formal concerts, busking, and just responding to the people and events of each day.
