There is a growing concern on a global scale that the world should transition towards the utilisation of energy-efficient technologies. Hydro-power plays a very significant part in the fight against climate change, and as a result, it lessens the impact that climate change will have on our ability to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Both the effectiveness of hydro-power generation and the amount of stream flow are impacted by climate change as well as land use and land cover (LULC). Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to conduct a literature review on the topic of the past and future effects of climate, land use, and land cover changes on hydro-power generation. This review will be based on the entries found in a number of reliable databases. A systematic literature review was carried out to analyse how LULC and climate change will affect hydro-power generation and development. The research was based on 158 pieces of relevant literature that had been reviewed by experts and indexed in Scopus, Google Scholar, and Science Direct.

The project describes the role of sawdust in the construction of buildings and other structures to eliminate the demand of natural sand by using wood waste to replace the use of natural sand. Now a day¿s usage of concrete has increased widely. Sand is being used as a fine aggregate in concrete. The natural sand become scarce and tremendously increased in cost. Depletion of sand near rivers disturbs the bed level, leads to uneven surface which in turn effects the environment. There is a need to think of alternate materials like wood waste can be used as a replacement of sand. This study focuses on the experimental investigation of using saw- dust as a partial replacement of sand in the properties of concrete mix. Sawdust also known as a by- product or waste product of wood working operations such as sawing, milling, planning, routing, drilling and sanding. Saw dust is the waste material generated by wood-based industry. It is formed as a small irregular chips or small trash of wood during chopping of logs of wooden into different sizes. The dimensions of saw dust depend upon varieties of dimensions of the teeth. Huge quantity of saw dust is generated worldwide every year dumping.

The Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider is the first strategic bomber to attain hardware status since the Cold War B-2A Spirit, which was publicly unveiled in 1988 and introduced in 1993. First flown on November 10, 2023, the mighty Raider is destined to become the mainstay of Americäs long-range air fleet with at least 100 units entering service from around 2027 onwards. Once operational, it will certainly be the most advanced military aircraft in the World, as well as the first ¿Sixth Generation¿ warplane. Its main goal, apart from nuclear deterrence, is to render useless the Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2/AD) battle networks created during the last decades by the revisionist Eurasian powers Russia and China. While details concerning this devastating weapon remain classified, we attempt a first assessment of its historical perspective, technical characteristics, concept of operations and challenges.

The growth of one semiconductor on another known as Heteroepitaxy process which developed the production of a wide range of what so-called heteroepitaxial devices, such as high-brightness light-emitting diodes, lasers, and high frequency transistors. The development of devices using other materials is based on the choice of the substrate and is represented by the combination epitaxial layer/substrate. This combination using the growth process requires the realizing at the maximum the chemical and crystallographic compatibility in which the crystallographic orientation of the layer is exactly determined by the substrate crystal. The surface structure of the substrate crystal can have an important effect on the properties of the epitaxial crystal. In the other hand, homoepitaxy is another process differs from Heteroepitaxy, if substrate and layer are of the same chemical composition we speak of homoepitaxy such as GaAs/GaAs, and we speak of Heteroepitaxy, if the layer /substrate have different chemical composition such as InP/GaAs. This materials used to product LEDs high quality devises and transistors of high mobility.

This book makes the case that almost the entire Neoproterozoic and Phanerozoic geologic record has been impacted in some manner by the Noahic Flood and its aftermath. However, seafloor spreading, in this proposed model, is inferred to have initiated towards the end of the actual Flood Year, being enabled by the receding waters of the Flood. Descriptions of formations in key regions were correlated in stratigraphic order with the historical stages evident from the record in the book of Genesis. This enabled a new biblical young earth geological history model to be developed, including the receding waters and drying phases of the Flood Year. It is remarkable that initial continental breakup began in the Triassic and that this coincided with a time of major sea level low and widespread continental drying. Receding seawater introduced into the top of the mantle via Flood fountain-fragmented zones would drastically lower the melting temperature and viscosity of mantle silicates, both of which would have led to supercontinent breakup and seafloor spreading in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic.

Human related activities cause variability in climatic conditions at the river basin. Inadequacy to manage uncertainties, projections and scenarios, financial constraints, lack of logical cost sharing in multipurpose capital projects results to climate change problems and related hazards at the river basin. The study determined the optimal benefits under various objectives in a multi-purpose /multi-objective capital projects using Bayesian and Game theories in order to develop a blueprint for green revolution in the river basin. The data was generated from Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME) in Anambra-Imo river basin as a case study. Graphs, chi-square, correlation and regression, and trend in climate variability were used for data analysis. The optimal solution from Bayesian model was N68.72 billion while Game Theory was N69.02 billion for the period which was N0.30 billion higher than result obtained from Bayesian analysis. The work recommended that since climate variability impact on the ecosystem, optimal strategies should incorporate delivering benefits irrespective of climate conditions for the benefits of the communities and the region.

This monograph covers issues related to the history of foreign diplomatic relations of Central Asian khanates in the 18th and 19th centuries. In particular, in the 16th-19th centuries, Central Asia, which was one of the hotbeds of social-economic, political life, and world civilization in the 16th-19th centuries, began to be cut off from world trade as a result of the decline of the importance of the Great Silk Road. This situation, in turn, hurt the socio-economic development of the khanates. Regardless of the political situation prevailing in the domestic life of the countries of Estonia, Iran, and China, the information about the trade and economic relations of the Central Asian khanates with the neighbouring countries is highlighted.

Food insecurity, a consequence of violent conflict brought on by the effects of climate change, is the main problem dealt with in this Book. The hypothesis behind the book is that violent conflicts among smallholder farmers are a result of climate change, and conflicts are a cause of food insecurity in East Africa. With an integrated strategy, the research aimed to eradicate food insecurity by addressing the consequences of climate change and the violence that occurs with it. The main motivating factor behind this book is the fact that the region's agricultural production capacity is extremely vulnerable to the effects of climate change. Furthermore, East Africa is the most volatile and threatened by armed conflict. In Africa (largely East Africa), 1.23 million individuals were killed in civil conflict-related occurrences during the span of 30 years from 1989 to 2018. This book will lay the foundation for further research and help communities all around East Africa by revealing how food insecurity and low economic development have changed as a result of conflict association climate change. Despite increasing concerns about the major socioeconomic impacts of climate change,

After twenty-two preceding sets of practical exercises laid forward in preceding manuscripts, I have inspired from my core ICT academic and research experience to produce this manuscript. Here, a successive set of 29 cohesively written practical exercises in softwares, directly related to Multi-Usage Professional Software Calculators, is laid forward, in a similar style as in the preceding manuscripts. Such exercises apply better to beginner levels in university courses. Of course, its applicability to advanced level courses may be appreciated by many academicians to their discretion. It is retained here that adaptations of these exercises by academicians to their requirements is very possible. It is recommended for students to devise good/workable summary sheets for each exercise, along with writing proper report and referencing needed. For each exercise, a share of analysis is required to develop thinking and critical/professional abilities. Most exercises are devised for computers/laptops along with currently trending smart phones/tablets. Students must communicate properly with their coach, who in turn, are recommended to perform judicious follow-ups.

Oral health is an integral part of general health. In spite of extensive development of modern medical science, satisfactory treatment of ¿oral diseases¿ by newer drugs is into achieved, some drugs causes side effects in excessive use and therefore, there is interest to find out effective treatment of any disease by harmless herbal drugs. Ayurveda is considered as the ¿science of life,¿ because the ancient Indian system of health care focused views of man and his illness. Conventional drugs usually provide effective antibiotic therapy; problem like antibiotic resistance are increased and new solutions are needed. Hence, now herbal drugs are being preferred to synthetic antibiotics. The use of herbs in dental practice is not limited to only material sciences. A single herb shows a variety of effects like anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal activity, and many more. Hence the incorporation of these herbs in dental practice will prove to be a valuable adjunct to dental treatment. Many research related to this field must be done in order to utilize the natural products which relatively have less side effects in comparison to the currently available Pharmaceutical drugs.

Sexual harassment is about male dominance over women and it is used to remind women that they are weaker than man. In a society where violence against women is posed just to show the patriarchal value operating in society, these values of men pose the greatest challenge in curbing sexual harassment. Studies have shown that 1 out of every 3 working women are touched by sexual harassment. It is rooted in cultural practices and is exacerbated by power relations at the workplace. Unless there is enough emphasis on sensitization at the workplace, legal changes are hardly likely to be successful. My book revealed some uncomfortable truths. Neither the training programs that most organizatins put all workers through nor the grievance procedures that they have implemented are helping to solve the problem of sexual harassment at the workplace. I hope that this book contributes to a structured method of adjudicating the various issues as well as a re-thinking of certain decisions and propositions of law that I have critiqued. This book deals wide array of topics with emerging issues in a lucid, coherent and concise manner.

In summary, the goal of this work was achieved by successfully separating phycocyanin from Spirulina and encapsulating it in chitosan nanoparticles. The effectiveness of the phycocyanin nanoparticles' antioxidant and antibacterial characteristics was then evaluated. The nanoparticles show a significant potential for antioxidant and antibacterial action, according to our data. In addition, it was found that the nanoparticles were more active than the crude phycocyanin extract, indicating that the formulation technique was effective. The examination of phycocyanin nanoparticles using techniques such as transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy yielded valuable information about the nanoparticles' physicochemical properties. The nanoparticles were spherical, ranged in size from 80 to 120 nm, and had a zeta potential of -30 mV, according to the results. The FTIR analysis demonstrated conclusively that chitosan was included in the nanoparticle formulation.

Short Sketch About BookThis book of study reveals that twenty five isolates were recovered as phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) from rhizosphere soil of paddy plants from four different locations of paddy field in Alwarkurichi village of Tenkasi District. Phosphate solubilizing bacterial population ranged from 30-50 × 102 CFU/g in Pikovskayäs agar medium, 20-30 × 102 CFU/g in hydroxy apatite agar medium and 10-20 × 102 CFU/g in soil extract agar medium. Among the tested isolates, highest load of phosphate solubilizers were found as the best in solubilizing phosphate 102 dilutions with the drop in neutral pH in Pikovskayäs agar medium. The results indicated that the rhizosphere soils of the study area inhabit phosphate solubilizing bacteria with great potential to be used as the commercial production of phosphatase enzymes. This study examines the effect of herbicide, one-shot on phosphate solubilizing bacterial activities like phosphate solubilization by herbicide resistance pattern. Here, the selected herbicide, one-shot was applied at two different concentrations of 10 ppm and 50 ppm against the phosphate solubilizers of Micrococcus sp., Bacillus sp. and Pseudomonas sp.

The Pauli principle dictates how electrons can be located inside an atom along its orbitals. The fact that two electrons cannot simultaneously occupy the same quantum state prevents them from "piling up" on top of each other, thereby explaining why matter occupies exclusively its place and does not allow other material objects to pass through itself, but at the same time allows light and radiation to pass through itself. So, casually, and even hypothetically, two important things were confirmed: the presence of a higher mind (an uncountable component) in algorithms and the quantum nature of thinking. Plus thus receives a new augmented formulation: the presence of two equal types of mind in the universe is simultaneously prohibited categorically. It is pointless to look for fellow human beings in the universe - to avoid cognitive dissonance on a cosmic scale. We are alone here and therefore unique. And this requires responsible behavior in the vastness of space.
