The use of animal models in medical research is crucial. The chicken embryo has emerged as an ideal model organism in experimental embryology due to its advantages over mammalian embryos. In the egg; chick embryos complete their embryonic development after 21 days. A chicken embryo undergoes gastrulation and histogenesis after two to three days of incubation to become a three-dimensional animal with a beating heart. This rapid development makes designing experiments and collecting data more manageable. The investigation on the biology, population dynamics, and control measures of the red cotton bug, Dysdercus koenigii Fabricius, was conducted under both laboratory and field conditions. The study covered various aspects of the insect's life cycle, including egg characteristics, nymphal stages, and adult features. The incubation period, hatching percentage, and nymphal development were examined in detail. The research found that the red cotton bug exhibited a total nymphal period of approximately 35 to 41 days. The adult stage was characterized by distinctive features in males and females, with females displaying a higher fecundity. The longevity of males was observed to be longer than that of females. The investigation also explored the insect's population fluctuation, noting its preference for Bt cotton over hybrid and Deshi varieties. Field experiments evaluated the bio-efficacy of different insecticides against the red cotton bug, with imidacloprid proving to be the most effective in reducing bug populations.

By investigating the unique characteristics and metabolic pathways of these microbial strains, we seek to shed light on the efficiency, yield and quality of PHB production. This study attempts to address how the multi-dimensional socio-cultural identity of caste and gender exists in the broader structure of society and what influences it has on a child¿s life in the schooling process. In this regard, this study explores the schooling life of children. The study has examined three aspects of the schooling process. Firstly, it explores the teacher¿s interactions with children in the school's different physical and inner spaces. Secondly, it explores the peer group interaction. This includes mainly the peer group relation between children to understand gender and caste identity. Thirdly, it analyses the parent¿s perceptions about the education of children and their construction of gender and caste identity. Observation and interviews are the main sources of data collection for this study. The findings of the study reflect a strong linkage between school and home life in shaping the gender and caste identity of a child. The child learns cultural values of caste and gender at home which are transmitted to her/his schooling life.

The present study investigates the effect of treatment with five (05) metacognitive strategies namely problem solving, planning and evaluation, mental translation, personal knowledge and direct attention on EFL students¿ listening comprehension achievement. In this regard, a longitudinal mixed methods case study was carried out involving one hundred (100) informants belonging to first and second years LMD. The researcher made use of a combination of research instruments to collect data such as two written tests (a pre-test and a post test); retrospective interviews, think-aloud protocols, a Metacognitive Awareness Listening Questionnaire (MALQ) as well as learners¿ diaries. Listening metacognitive strategy instruction proved to be efficient as it helped in increasing students¿ motivation, self-confidence and autonomy.
