Millets are a group of highly variable small-seeded grasses, widely grown around the world as cereal crops or grains for fodder and human food. Millets are important crops in the semiarid tropics of Asia and Africa (especially in India, Mali, Nigeria, and Niger), with 97% of millet production in developing countries. The crop is favored due to its productivity and short growing season under dry, high-temperature conditions. Millets are indigenous to many parts of the world. The most widely grown millet is pearl millet, which is an important crop in India and parts of Africa. Finger millet, proso millet, and foxtail millet are also important crop species. Millets may have been consumed by humans for about 7,000 years and potentially had "a pivotal role in the rise of multi-crop agriculture and settled farming societies." Generally, millets are small-grained, annual, warm-weather cereals belonging to the grass family. They are highly tolerant of drought and other extreme weather conditions and have a similar nutrient content to other major cereals.

The evolution of dentistry is closely associated with the advancements in dental materials. From the dawn of history dental practitioners have been in the quest for ideal restorative dental materials. Though at first ideal restorative materials were believed to be those that were biologically inert and thus biocompatible, bioactive materials have emerged as a viable alternative over the past two decades. The need for invention and applications of newer materials are quintessential in every field, especially in dentistry. In the branch of conservative dentistry & endodontics, bioactive materials have been extensively used for repair, regeneration, and reconstruction.

The study conducted Line x Tester analysis using three female lines and eight male testers to assess heterosis, combining ability, and gene action in cotton. The experimental setup included eleven parents, resulting in twenty-four crosses and the standard check GN.Cot.Hy-14. Thirty-six genotypes were planted in a randomized block design with three replications at the Main Cotton Research Station, NAU, Surat during Kharif 2017. Analysis of variance revealed significant differences among parents and hybrids for various traits, indicating considerable genetic variability. Notably, certain crosses exhibited high per se performance and standard heterosis. Combining ability analysis highlighted the importance of both additive and non-additive gene effects in trait inheritance, with different traits showing varying degrees of genetic control. Furthermore, the study validated three GMS female lines, their fertile counterparts, and non-GMS original parental lines through SSR markers (BNL 1227 and NAU 2176), confirming the purity of genotypes and offering a quick and reliable means of identifying the genetic male sterility system governed by the ms5ms6 gene in cotton (G. hirsutum L.).

Hair colorants, or hair dyes as they are popularly known, occupy a large market today. They are used either to hide gray hair or to change the colour of the hair by individuals, either at home or at a hairdressing saloon. Colouring of hairs, eyebrows and eyelashes is not new and practiced from the earliest antiquity but in crude form. Avoid products that containing paraphenylenediamine (PPD), p - Aminophenol or Lawsone. The chemical have been reported associated with contact dermatitis (ranged from blister to full thickness chemical burn). This chemical also reported associated with cancer, however there is no sufficient data to support the relationship between hair dye use and cancer.

Book is of field experiment was conducted to study the effect of soilless cultivation of cucumber in polycarbonate greenhouse. The experiment was conducted in protected structure of advance polycarbonate fan and pad greenhouse for cultivation of cucumber. The experiment was laid out in large plot technique design with five replications comprising of total five treatment combinations. The five treatment consists of T1: Soilless Media (Coco-peat grow bag), T2: Soil Media, T3: Coco-peat + Soil (1:1), T4: Vermicompost + Soil (1:1), T5: Coco-peat + Vermicompost + Soil (1:1:1). Healthy seeds were sown on grow bag and soil bed at 0.60 m × 0.30 m spacing, during the month of March, 2021. Irrigation was supplied to the crop through drip irrigation system and. Cultivation practice was carried out as per recommendation. and results were shown in this book.

Whereas leadership has been vigorously studied in terms of ability to influence followers, the contact perspective has not been emphasised. Building on the contact hypothesis proposed by Gordon Allport, leadership is reconsidered as a way of influencing followers. We define leadership in terms of influence and show how leaders are connected to followers. We review existing leadership models as well as influence tactics and follower typologies. We introduce the leadership contact influence model with ten hypotheses. We propose a three-dimensional contact model: length, width and breadth of the contact. We review other critical aspects of the contact model: quality and quantity time, generational leadership-followership, leadership-followership dilemma, absentee leaders-followers, hands on-off leaders-followers and values, virtues and visions of a leader. Finally, we reflect on leadership contact standard in terms of its source.

Audience Perception of Nigeria's Image on Nollywood films is a research work that investigated what Image of Nigeria the Nigerian Film industry (Nollywood) is projecting of the nation from the audience's point of view. An audience survey was carried out with the use of the questionaire and interviews conducted with major key players in the industry. Nollywood films as it were project the Nigeria nation in a positive and negative light from the audience's point of view. The films show Nigeria's rich cultural heritages, its beautiful potentials and great potentials for advancement as well as its dark sides.In all, Nollywood films are globally acclaimed and speaks for Nigerian nation and is a veritable tool for better image projection and decolonization.

Transportation networks powered by fossil fuels are essential to the economic and social progress of the modern world. The problems associated with this tendency become obvious when considering the reliance of transportation on oil. The Earth's oil supply is finite, and its use has contributed to climate change, urban air pollution, and international strife. As a result, issues with the world's energy infrastructure and the environment have arisen in great part because of individual modes of mobility.

There is a vast literature available on importance of Quality of Documentation with the use of standard outcome measures in medical field. However, very less literature found on the assessment of quality of maintaining the physical records of patient¿s undergone physiotherapy. Therefore, to know the status of quality and degrees of accuracy of documentation of physiotherapy clinical records in MGM physiotherapy Rehabilitation and Fitness centre, this retrospective study is proposed using D-catch instrument/scale. This study will help and guide us to improve our various areas for chance of improvement while maintaining the records by the physiotherapists.

Adwaita Mallabarman had a deep passion for Education. He was a very talented student. But the poverty of life was a constant companion. In his spirit, Education is the best asset, helping to accelerate society. Educated in machine learning should not be educated in humanistic Education. Electrical equipment has to be properly classified and handled carefully in electrical machines and any electrical material so that the machine will be functional, safe, and economical. Materials for electronics need to satisfy standard quality criteria set from practical experiences and recommended by a code of practices. The use of relevant national and/or international standards is given high importance since laboratory or field test results have to be compared with other test data obtained from previous works of similar conditions. The availability of suitable laboratory testing facilities and trained laboratory personnel is thus crucially important in assessing the quality of electrical materials and evaluating test results.

Gingivitis involves only the gingiva while peridontitis involves cementum, alveolar bone, and periodontal ligament. The main causative factors are plaque and calculus. Periodontitis is an infectious disease caused by various bacteria. In response to infection body's defensive cells play an important role in protecting periodontium.
