This study presents a case study on the effectiveness of a suggested podcast-dictogloss-based strategy in enhancing the listening skills of intermediate-levelstudents at the Arab Open University (AOU) in Egypt. The study involved 60 participants from different majors studying a compulsory English language course; they participated for a period of a 16-week semester. Two podcasts from BBC radio were selected in compliance with the topic of the required lesson. Data were collected through pre-and post-tests, application of dictogloss strategy, as well as a questionnaire to measure students¿ perception. The pre-and post-test results were analyzed using paired t-tests. The results of the study revealed a significant improvement in the participants' listening skills after engaging in the suggested podcast-dictogloss-based strategy. This enhancement was evident in theirperformance in the post-test, which showed a remarkable increase in their listening proficiency. Additionally, the perceptions towards the strategy were generally positive as indicated by the analysis of their responses to the questionnaire.

Entomopathogenic fungi, Nomuraea rileyi (Farlow) Samson is an important natural mortality factor of many Lepidopteran pests on variety of crop ecosystem. Considering the effectiveness and economics N. rileyi @ 1.25 kg/ha combined with methomyl 0.025 per cent or novaluron 0.004 per cent or spinosad 0.0045 per cent or indoxacarb 0.0015 per cent was found as effective and economical and can be recommended for eco-friendly management of S. litura in groundnut ecosystem, when they were applied twice first at 50 per cent flowering and second at 50 per cent pod formation. The results of laboratory bioassays confirmed the results of field efficacy of N. rileyi alone and its combination with insecticides against S. litura. N. rileyi @ 2.5 g/litre proved to be the most effective dose among nine doses tested against 3rd instar larvae of S. litura under laboratory condition.Compatibility studies of insecticides with N. rileyi resulted that spinosad 0.009 per cent, endosulfan 0.07 per cent, novaluron 0.008 per cent and quinalphos 0.05 per cent were found most compatible with N. rileyi.

This book is based on a study conducted to determine the impact of behavioral biases on the nature and extent of financing decisions made by financial managers. Six specific biases were explored: managerial overconfidence, managerial overoptimism, regret aversion, anchoring, mental accounting, and conservatism. The study population was drawn from financial managers of entities listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. Findings revealed that managers predisposed to overconfidence, anchoring, and mental accounting biases were more inclined towards debt and equity compared to internal capital, with equity being most preferred followed by debt and then internal sources of capital. However, those with an overoptimism bias ranked debt highest, followed by equity, with the lowest ranking for internal capital. On the other hand, managers with a predisposition towards regret aversion and conservatism biases highly ranked internal capital and debt compared to equity; internal capital was most preferred followed by debt and then equity. Consequently, a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of management decisions is suggested for consideration.

Sucralose is the non-sweetener with low calorific value which is mainly use for diabetic and obesity Patients and Calcium Gluconate mainly to enrich the product.Control Kulfi prepared with Whole milk, Skim milk, sugar and other flavors like Caramel flavor, Kulfi flavor, Cardamom flavor and Stabilizer. Thirty trials have been conducted by replacing sugar with addition of Sucralose and Calcium gluconate which the Sucralose is taken as 420mg and Calcium gluconate is taken as 400mg, Kulfi flavor, Cardamom flavor is taken as 2% and Caramel flavor is taken as 3%. Proximate analysis and Microbial analysis are done. For Proximate analysis Fat, Protein and Total solids are done. Fat content of kulfi is 9.5%, Protein content is 4.5% and Total solids are 45%. For Microbial analysis are done for E.Coliform, Yeast and Mould and standard plate count test.Out of this thirty trials.27th trials is considered as best one because it is good in all the acceptability. The product has good sensory acceptability. So 27th trial was finalized.

They increase the speed of fluid flow from subsonic to supersonic or hypersonic levels, producing the required thrust under certain design and operating circumstances. The efficiency, thrust, and flow rate of the nozzle are determined by its shape and flow characteristics, making its design and analysis essential to the optimization of a variety of engineering systems. In this work, sophisticated propelling nozzles are designed and analysed, with an emphasis on their form and flow characteristics. Nozzle length is taken into account, along with the assumption of constant momentum rate, and 1-D gas dynamic equations are used to examine these variables.The constant rate of momentum change (CRMC) hypothesis, which incorporates frictional effects and heat addition, is utilised to obtain consistent flow characteristics at any distance. The findings of the CRMC theory are validated using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) using ANSYS Workbench 2022R2, which reveals that under design conditions, the numerical conclusions and the CRMC theory results are in agreement.

Two different common rice varieties were used in tests for defining. These include existing standards for rice Area, Aspect ratio, rmean, gmean, bmean, entropy_r, entropy_g and entropy_b. It successfully shows the effectiveness of compactness as its features. The database of the present work recognizes the rice, which has been trained and identified. With proper selection of software tools, a low cost tool is designed for quality analysis of rice grains which provides all relevant parameters about rice grains by image analysis. Hence, it aims for accurate classification of micro calcification of different types of rice varieties, used in testing and producing accurate result.
