Designing a Spell Checker for Indian languages such as Punjabi poses many new challenges which are not found in English like use of conjuncts, which complicates the design of Spell Checker. Punjabi language is far different from Western languages in phonetic properties and grammatical rules.In Punjabi language, when we encounter an incorrect word while using spell checker, it gives many suggestions for that word. In this book, we have tried to optimize suggestions for Punjabi Spell Checker by checking the Punjabi text with the dictionary of Punjabi words to identify the incorrect words and then to generate the most relevant suggestions out of so many suggestions for that incorrect word so that the most appropriate suggestion can be at the top of the suggestion list.

The importance of natural fibers, which have been used for hundreds of years to meet human needs such as clothing and sheltering has considerably reduced through the use of synthetic fibers toward the end of the 1900s. The increasing environmental concerns and depletion of petroleum resources have increased the importance of natural fibers once again and have stimulated researchers and industries to use sustainable fibers instead of conventional synthetic fibers. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with Factorial concept and replicated three times. Fourteen treatment combinations comprising of seven intercropping treatments of pearl millet viz., I1 - sole pearl millet, I2 - sole black gram, I3 - sole cow pea, I4 - pearl millet + black gram (paired row 2:1), I5 - pearl millet + cow pea (paired row 2:1), I6 - pearl millet + black gram (paired row 3:2) and I7 - pearl millet + cow pea (paired row 3:2) and two nitrogen levels viz., N1 - 100 % RDN and N2 - 75 % RDN were evaluated in the study and it can be concluded that for getting higher PGEY (Pearl millet Grain Equivalent Yield), gross return and net return from pearl millet based intercropping system, pearl millet crop should be intercrop with black gram or cow pea in a 2:1 paired row intercropping system and fertilize with 100 % RDN. Beside this the intercropping of pearl millet with pulses also improve the nitrogen status over sole pearl millet at the end of the crop harvest.

This book delves into the significant changes that occur in seeds during the ageing process, particularly in relation to seed quality and longevity. The pace of seed ageing is contingent upon the seed's capacity to withstand degradation and the specific protective mechanisms inherent to each plant species. Four soybean varieties were selected at the Experimental Farm, Department of Agricultural Botany, VNMKV, Parbhani, and subjected to artificial ageing under various time (24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours) and temperature (41°C, 42°C, 43°C, 44°C, and 45°C) conditions. Additionally, natural ageing was observed, with seeds stored under conventional, uncontrolled conditions and evaluated at intervals of 0, 60, 120, 180, and 240 days to assess seed quality.The duration of the ageing period, storage conditions, and specific characteristics of soybean varieties all influenced the extent of seed damage and the seed's ability to resist the adverse effects of ageing.This book is anticipated to be a valuable resource for students, teachers, and researchers involved in the fields of Seed Technology, providing insights into the intricate dynamics of seed ageing and quality preservation.

This study investigates the effects of leadership styles on employee performance at some selected Non-Governmental Organizations in Gombe State. Three objectives were formulated to guide the Study. The study discussed the concept of leadership, leadership style and employee performance. Many literatures were reviewed from which the research gaps were identified. A survey research design was used where data was sourced via 112 questionnaire using five points likert scale and was administered to the respondents. The analysis of the participants¿ responses was done using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) which generated the response rates, variances, standard errors, R-square statistics, correlations, analyses of variance, t-statistics, et cetera of the responses. The study finds out that autocratic and laissez faire leadership style has no significance effect on employee performance in non-governmental organization in Gombe state while democratic leadership style has significance effect on employee performance in non-governmental organization in Gombe state.

Due to the growing human need for networks with high bandwidth and high reliability, optical fibers have become widely used. Different properties of the molecular structures of favipiravir and ribavirin, which are used in the treatment of SARS-CoV-2 and also needed in the treatment of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in recent years, have been investigated using Density Functional Theory (DFT) B3LYP/6-311G(d, p) and 6-311+G(d, p) methods. The geometrical optimization of the molecular structures of favipiravir and ribavirin was made in the ground state, gas, and water solvent environments, the bond parameters were obtained and the theoretical results were compared with the values in the literature. By obtaining molecular orbital energy values from energy calculations, global reactivity parameters such as electron affinity, electronegativity, chemical potential, chemical hardness, softness, and electrophilicity index were obtained for both environments. The interactions between adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine DNA bases and the molecular structures of favipiravir and ribavirin were investigated in water with the help of two parameters such as ¿N (charge transfer) and ECT (electrophilicity-based charge transfer) using global reactivity values.
