Oral health is essential to general health and quality of life, and poor oral health can be a known cause of disability. The neuromuscular deficits present in cerebral palsy have a profound impact on dental health in a multitude of ways. These may include modifications to the orofacial region's structure, issues with feeding, challenges with maintaining oral hygiene, and difficulties getting access to dental care for people with cerebral palsy. Orofacial motor impairment is indeed very prevalent in cerebral palsy patients, which can make it challenging for them to maintain adequate oral hygiene, resulting in an increase in the accumulation and retention of dental biofilm. The high incidence of caries and periodontal diseases are identified in individuals with cerebral palsy and has also been correlated with factors like dietary consistency, snacking in between meals, and related oromotor dysfunction. The primary objective of this library dissertation is to cast light on the potential correlations between periodontal diseases and neuromuscular deficits involved in cerebral palsy that hinder adequate oral hygiene maintenance.

A control system based on microcontrollers was developed for a communication and switchingequipment of ten subscribers, basically there will be two telephones connected, being able to reach ten in the whole equipment, also the union of nine other similar equipment allows a total communication of one hundred subscribers, since there are two digits for a whole switching system. For the completion of the project, we first investigated and analyzed all the circuits present in a general switching system or telephone exchange, thus defining the basic circuits present in the new switching equipment. Subsequently these circuits were analyzed and saw the possibility of relating them with the microcontrollers, once this was done, the interface between them is made so that the circuits are commanded by the microcontrollers. Before implementing a series of tests are performed to the system circuits in order to see how they react in extreme cases, finally all the circuits present in the new telephone switching system are defined.

In the dynamic landscape of Intelligent Transportation Systems, this research pioneers strategies for efficient route prediction, particularly vital for emergency vehicles (EVs). The HL-CTP model employs incremental learning, enhancing accuracy by fine-tuning predictions based on historical data. Complementing this, the SG-TSE model adjusts traffic lights, minimizing the negative impact of congestion on both regular traffic and EV preemption. Recognizing the limitations of traditional machine learning in Internet of Vehicles networks, our third objective utilizes YOLOv4-based traffic monitoring, incorporating the Kalman filter for real-time IoV environment modeling. Policymakers can leverage this data for informed decisions, improving transportation efficiency, reducing congestion, and enhancing safety. Integrating RSUs efficiently manages network resources, contributes to smarter transportation systems, and elevates urban living standards. In conclusion, this research not only advances route prediction and EV preemption but also adds value to the broader landscape of intelligent and responsive transportation systems, benefiting society at large.

The concepts of migration develop and tend to alter the demographic, economic, and social structures and set a new cultural identity. The emergence of this global community has brought a significant transformation in the lifestyle and it has subsequently redefined literary perspectives. These are the different reasons that paved the way for the creation of a variety of Diasporas such as refugees, working class, military men, and students, who pursue their higher education.

Multimedia applications have very stringent Quality of Service (QoS) demands and require a connection oriented service. For these applications, a path satisfying their requirements in terms of bandwidth, delay, buffer etc.The goal of QoS routing algorithms is to find a loop-less path satisfying a given set of constraints on parameters like bandwidth, delay, etc. The path selection process could return either the entire path to the destination or the best next hop for the request.The first case is called as Source routing and the second is referred to as distributed routing, Proposed system uses a new distributed QoS routing algorithm for unicast flows, which has a very low call establishment overhead. QoS routing algorithm makes use of existing IP routing protocols like OSPF, RIP with minimal modifications.

Urban collapse is a global dilemma that severely impacts urban areas both socially and economically due to negative impacts on neighbourhoods, and also impacts the environmental sustainability of neighbourhoods. Abandoned property contributes to a self-perpetuating vicious cycle where tenants and building owners do not restore property when fear and crime are present. Governments also fail to reduce fear and crime when neighbourhoods are overrun with abandoned property. The aim of this book was to assess the status of building dilapidation in Thohoyandou Central Business District (CBD). This study consist of three objectives, the first objective was to determine the buildings that have dilapidated in Thohoyandou CBD, the second objective was to investigate the causes of building dilapidation in Thohoyandou CBD and the last objective was to suggest recommendations towards addressing the causes of persisting building dilapidation. This study adopted a qualitative research approach through conducting 20 key informant interviews and field observations.

Research focuses on utilizing environmental, social, and economic benefits by promoting Avitourism.

The analysis of scientific productivity and research output is a common practice for research institutions. For measuring the research productivity of the CSIR scientists, bibliometric analysis has been conducted by the author on the publications indexed in the SCOPUS database. The study has been conducted among the seven CSIR Laboratories of Northeast and Eastern India. The name of the laboratories is North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST), Jorhat; Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata; Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB), Kolkata; Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT), Bhubaneswar; Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI), Durgapur; National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), Jamshedpur and Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CIMFR), Dhanbad. The study has analyzed the number of papers published by the institutions and also discusses the highest citations received during the period. It has identified the year-wise publications, source-wise publications, country-wise publications, document type-wise publications, most cited authors, and degree of collaboration etc.

The knowledge of the structural, molecular, and functional biology of bone is essential for better comprehension of this tissue as a multicellular unit and a dynamic structure that can also act as an endocrine tissue, a function still poorly understood. In vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated that bone cells respond to different factors and molecules, contributing to the better understanding of bone cells plasticity. Additionally, bone matrix integrins-dependent bone cells interactions are important for bone formation and resorption. Studies have addressed the importance of the lacuna-canalicular system and the pericellular fluid, by which osteocytes act as mechanosensors, for the adaptation of bone to mechanical forces. Hormones, cytokines, and factors that regulate bone cells activity, play a significant role in the bone histophysiology under normal and pathological conditions. Thus, such deeper understanding of the dynamic nature of bone tissue will certainly help to manage new therapeutic approaches to bone diseases and in various orthodontic treatment.

The National Livestock Development Board is one of the leading dairy producers in Sri Lanka. Because of that they lost so many profits of the products and they could not control their wastage of milk. As the solution for that problem this study focusses on introduce design and implementation new e-market platform for the National Livestock Development Board. It is better way to reduce their cost and earn profits in their organization during this pandemic situation. The Nigerian fashion industry has witnessed significant growth, drawing global attention from investors and enthusiasts. Despite its economic contribution, the impact of social media and influencers on consumer behaviour in this market has been understudied. This research explores the influence of social media influencers (SMIs) on consumer purchasing decisions within Nigeria's fashion industry. Uniquely, it focuses on the consumer perspective, diverging from previous studies cantered on retailers or influencers. Conducted through qualitative remote interviews, the study reveals that consumers prioritize influencer credibility and track record when making fashion-related decisions. Video-based platforms prove most effective in reaching Nigerian consumers through influencers. Identified barriers to influencer marketing effectiveness are also discussed, offering valuable insights for future research and practical applications in the Nigerian fashion sector. The book contributes essential knowledge for understanding consumer considerations in the context of influencer marketing within this dynamic industry.
