Multi-spectral satellite images are essential for data analysis in the fields of agriculture, regional planning, geology, meteorology, forestry, landscape, biodiversity conservation. Enhancement is the best method for extracting more information from a large dataset. The information increases the number of pixels that can effectively represent the image's information and display its spectral features. These values are maintaining the trade-off balance between spatial and spectral values with dimensional reduction technique and Machine Learning algorithms.

The objective of this work therefore is to establish how covid-19 pandemic has induced criminality and deteriorated the local economy of Bayelsa state, Nigeria. The stud adopted the Situational action theory (SAT) as our theoretical framework. The study adopted the descriptive research design to survey 2,277,961 populations of Bayelsa state using the Taro- Yamane formula to draw a sample size of 530. Purposive sampling technique was used in the study. The primary instruments used in generating data for this study were questionnaire and interview. The structured questionnaire titled: ¿Covid-19, local economy and criminality in Bayelsa state, Nigeriä. (C19LEACBSNQ). The collected data were analyzed using simple percentage and the thematic method was used to analysis the data derived from key informants.

Atherosclerosis has been the cardinal cause of death worldwide in developed countries. Stenosis builds up in the wall of the arteries, leads to blood flow restriction which is the leading cause of stroke and death worldwide. Bifurcation and division of arteries are the most preferred sites for the progression of the atherosclerosis due to the irregular flow conditions. Atherosclerosis can be attributed to hardening, narrowing and thickening of wall of the artery. In this work, the hemodynamic parameters of artery are presented to help in understanding the vascular diseases which is caused due to the deposition of stenosis. The software tool Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has been used for studying computational techniques which gives pavement in the design of the geometrical model of arteries and its simulation analysis. Different parameters like shape, size and position of stenosis varies from person to person has been studied. The work is further extended to examine the phenomenon of variation of shape, size and position of stenosis by numerical simulation of blood flow in healthy and stenosed artery having different plaque shape and size.

This study was conducted to find out the effectiveness of my writing instruction when the medium of instruction is English and prepare for the following writing instruction in the Southern part of South Korea. To achieve the goal, three research questions were raised and answered in a given order; 1) Participants of the study (N=27) show progress in writing in terms of accuracy and fluency, 2) The most frequently appearing errors appeared in the pretest were Mechanics > Agreement > Sentence types > Main verb. 3) Agreement > Mechanics > Meaning > Sentence types > Main verb errors survived at the end of the semester. As far as the medium of instruction is concerned which is English, the major errors appeared in the pretest survived at the end of the semester. Considering that learners were exposed to multiple sources of teaching interventions, this result is surprising. Instructional intervention were quizzes and three assignments: 1) Building better sentences, 2) Capitalization, and 3) Progressive report. Based upon the findings of the study, instructional intervention on Meaning errors was suggested as the form of the quizzes in the future.

The study is to discuss the harmonics in three phase transformers. For the harmonic analysis of power systems, it is essential to have all compenents represented in the harmonic frequency domain. This study shows how nonlinear elements can be directly represented in the harmonic domain by using a convolution equivalent to time domain multiplications. The procedure is then applieed to power transformers. The three-phase models with the specially connected transformers offered in this study distinctly represent the feeding system by means of the physical three-phase circuirt and the symetrical¿compenent equivalent circuit. The three-phase model could be joined to three-phase load flow program to exactly analyse the system imbalance in the future. Transformer models for harmonic studies based on rated parameters are presented.

Out of all DG systems, PV and Wind energy systems are alternative to each other to maintain the load supply reliability. A DC-DC converter with MPPT technique is used to regulate the DG systems. A INC algorithm is proposed as MPPT technique in this paper. The inverter of hybrid system is implemented with Fuzzy technique to improve power quality. This hybrid system is tested in Matlab/Simulink environment and verified the results for various load conditions to meet the demand.
