¿The Doctors¿ is one of the most well-known daily American talk shows introducing medical advice. It started in 2008 and aired until August 2022. This study aims to find the linguistic representation used by doctors while giving online medical information based on the form of speech used in the discussions. The researcher selected six episodes of ¿The Doctors¿ which can be found easily online by just writing their titles on YouTube. These data have been examined according to Searle¿s speech acts, Grice¿s Maxims, Presupposition and Implicature.

This study examines the legitimacy of Iraqi Kurdistan's claim to self-determination through independence. It analyzes the concept of self-determination, people, as the recipients of this right, statehood, as well as secession, the legality of secession, and the recognition of states founded through this process by the international community. The study is qualitative, library-based, and analytic, involving primary data, such as treaties, statutes, constitutions, parliamentary and ministerial reports, as well as secondary data, including books, journal articles, media, and Internet materials. The study concludes that Iraqi Kurds are an ethnic group who have been denied their right to self-determination and have been subjected to brutal, widespread, and systematic oppression by Iraqi governments since their arbitrary merger with Iraq following World War I. Despite the self-autonomy the Kurds.

This book brings together my published articles so that they are accessible to everyone. These works were carried out between 2012 and 2023. From a mathematical point of view, most phenomena are modeled by partial differential equations. Since the modeling medium is real, the resolution space is generally three-dimensional. However, nature is well done. Thus, several symmetries and physical properties make it possible to reduce to two dimensions. Therefore, most of the PDEs studied are of the second order with two spatial variables and a temporal variable. As is known, they are classified into three categories: elliptical, parabolic and hyperbolic. Most of the published articles are interested in modeling. The real-life optimization problems are too complex to be solved by developing a mathematical formula. Heuristic methods are the methods defined to decide the best of a variety of solution actions to solve a problem. Furthermore, it is preferred that heuristic methods are short in solution time and can be applied to different problems. Heuristic methods were developed while trying to find the best solution. The created algorithm, which was based on herd intelligence, was used to solve optimization problems based on the behaviors of bees moving in nature in the process of finding nutrients. It is interested in a broad range of entrepreneurial and organizational issues. The final objective of the technological innovation management is the process of commercialization¿meaning revenue from investments in innovation. The appropriation of value from the investments of companies in technological innovation involves intellectual property rights, granting of licenses, creation of technical standards, speed, secrecy and ownership of additional advantages. Many significant activities carried out by processing companies, marketing, distribution, applied engineering, design, maintenance, accounting would be described as services if they were offered externally. Many services such as bank telling are offered now electromechanical and the value of processing products is now found in intangible properties, such as fast delivery, easy use, brand and reliability that would have been considered as services had they not been embedded in the products.

This study was conducted to find out the effectiveness of my writing instruction and prepare for the following writing instruction in a graduate school context in the Southern part of South Korea. To achieve the goal, three research questions were raised and answered in a given order; 1) Participants of the study (N=22) show progress in writing in terms of accuracy and fluency, 2) The most frequently appearing errors appeared in the pretest were Mechanics (Title) > Mechanics (Paragraph Indentation) > Article > Sentence types. 3) As to the remaining errors in the posttest, Sentence types > Mechanics > Meaning > Agreement (Noun) errors survived at the end of the semester. Instructional interventions were quizzes, writing revision, and progressive report. Based upon the findings of the study, instructional intervention, including writing, was suggested as the form of the quizzes in the future.

The constant increase in energy consumption and rising prices for energy sources stimulate the search for new methods and materials for direct solar energy conversion. A critical analysis of scientific and technical literature shows that only thin-film solar cells (SC) can compete with traditional energy sources. Despite numerous studies on obtaining film coatings using various physical (vacuum deposition, sintering, screen printing, etc.) and chemical (electrochemical deposition, chemical bath deposition, pyrolysis, etc.) methods, the industrial implementation of film-based photovoltaic structures is hindered by the high cost of their production. In monograph the use of chemical surface deposition (CSD) to obtain CdS and CdSe films from aqueous solutions of cadmium-containing salts, will help solve the problem of reducing the cost of SC was described. The relevance of this direction is grounded in the fact that semiconductor photovoltaic structures based on CdS and CdSe films obtained by the CSD method fully meet the physical parameters required for application in thin-film SC.

The rise in Type 2 Diabetes cases has fueled research in robust diagnostic systems. Machine learning integration enhances these systems by analyzing diverse datasets and addressing associated complications like obesity, poor habits, and hypertension. Early detection is crucial, given the severe health implications. ML, paired with natural language processing, aids in prognosis, diagnosis, and prevention plans. Using the PIDD dataset (768 samples, 16 attributes), this research focuses on predicting diabetes with an expanded characteristic set. Pre-processing involves normalization, balancing with SMOTE, and completeness checks to improve model accuracy. Overall, this study emphasizes ML's pivotal role in advancing Type 2 Diabetes understanding and predictive capabilities through meticulous methodologies and dataset selection.

The sound of the word ¿customer¿ brings to mind the person using the company¿s products to meet their needs. However, in reality, a chain of intermediaries intervenes between a particular firm and the end consumer of its products. The gathering of information, aiming at obtaining and maintaining clientele, is sought in various ways. The most common are: market research, using various lists of organizations or individuals (who use specific goods because of occupation/ profession) and periodic reports submitted to the company by specialized partners. Client handling is considered as one of the most serious problems of modern business. Some businesses are forced to establish special promotional programs addressed to customer categories. Nevertheless, consumer demand for greater convenience and better service makes the problem even harder. Two different groups of decision makers are being addressed simultaneously: private entrepreneurs (commercial firms, academic firms) and academic entrepreneurs (universities), interested in optimizing knowledge management and in developing heterogeneously composed knowledge-based research networks; and public (governmental, sub governmental) actors.

The incidence of chronic renal failure has been disturbingly increasing during the previous decades, and it has been increasingly considered as a global health problem. The availability of renal replacement therapy and its quality are much less in developing countries than in the advanced countries. The lack of effective, convenient and affordable therapy for chronic renal failure in many regions of the world should not mean should that the patients with advanced chronic renal failure are left without other suitable, convenient and acceptable care. Therefore, the need for a more robust and more convenient therapy for chronic renal failure has been increasingly emphasized during the previous two decades. A novel urea lowering dietary therapy that could provide a novel paradigm for the management of chronic renal failure has been described. This new dietary therapy was used in combination with the traditional known therapies of chronic renal failure, and has been increasingly known as intestinal dialysis.

The reported experiences of burnout and the stress and the potentially negative impact these have on dually credentialed school counselors in providing mental health interventions for students are relevant to the Counseling and Human Services field. These experiences serve as an example for other school-based professionals who want to explore how the challenges faced in applying mental health interventions could impact their own emotional experiences, understanding that any imbalance can potentially negatively impact those they serve. The findings from this research revealed the emotional experiences of apathy and burnout are pervasive in dually credentialed school counselors as they are impacted by both internal and external stressors. Through this understanding, the findings helped to establish an urgency and clear mandate for understanding the negative impact burnout has on school counselors and may invariably impact their own objectivity in incorporating mental health interventions into school counseling programs.

In Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), vehicles communicate through Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V to V) and Vehicle-to-Roadside Unit (V to RSU) channels, posing challenges for wide deployment. A key issue is designing delay minimization algorithms to handle path disruptions due to vehicle mobility. This dissertation proposes a scheme focusing on reducing delays for high-velocity vehicles, minimizing collision risks. It utilizes low-velocity vehicles to share road status and velocity information, reducing overall traffic in dynamic VANETs. The AODV routing protocol is employed for flooded request and reply, broadcasting specific packets called delay-aware information. Computer simulations using the ns-2 simulator demonstrate the scheme's effectiveness in increasing information delivery, reducing packet overhead, and improving throughput.

Molecules of compounds are made of more than one type of atom. A simple example of a small molecule is water which contains two hydrogen atoms and one of oxygen. Polymers are very large molecules with many more atoms ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 atoms per molecule. The word polymer is derived from the Greek root poly-, meaning is many and mer- meaning is part or segment. Many of the same units (or mers) are connected together to form a long chain called polymer. Polymers can be extremely large, often made up of hundreds of thousands of atoms. So, they are also referred to as macromolecules. Partly because of their size, polymers have interesting behavior and special properties. Small molecules of water do not tend to get tangled with each other and each one of them is separate and distinct from the others. Whereas, the large molecules of polymers become enmeshed with each other, much like a single strand of cooked spaghetti (noodles) gets tangled up with other strands. The long polymer chains (molecules) intermingle with one another and become entangled. It is very difficult to separate one chain from the remaining chains.

Aim of this work is to investigate into the inorganic impurities in API manifacturing and related the charcoal Used in purification and other stages.Because the production of activated charcoal imply variuos chemico-phisical process and really high temperature it is of interest to verify if the exfoliation of graphitic-graphene can produce impurity.The same to verify the analitical methdos to determinate its presence or absence in API production and the requirement asked by regulatory international agency.This aspects can be relavant for toxicological and safey aspects: not only to be evaluated the amorphous Activated charcoal residual but also to search graphitic cristals or planar structure of graphene exfoliated even if under the theresholds reported in regulatory rules.It is not the main focus of this article to put in relation the commercial product showed in this work with the profile of toxicicy of the API purified using this system: only to submit to the researcher some material science concepts useful to better understand some phenomena.

In short, SARS-COV is the virus that causes the coronavirus responsible for the ongoing pandemic that began in 2020, killing thousands of people around the world. Due to this pandemic, educational institutions were closed, and the entire dynamics of classes had to be adapted from in-person teaching to remote teaching, as a result, it is believed that the quality of teaching was compromised. The objective of this study was to verify the performance of students of higher education courses in the chemistry area of the Federal University of Maranhão - UFMA, besides analyzing the perspectives of remote education in the same institution. The methodology used was the data collection extracted from Google Forms available on Google Drive, containing multiple choice questions aimed at remote/hybrid teaching of chemistry, applied to students of the courses of Chemistry Degree, Chemistry Bachelor's Degree, Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry of UFMA. According to the results, 70.20% of the students said that the educational institution made internet available in the pandemic, and many students stressed dissatisfaction with the institution's products.
