Among various photovoltaic technologies, Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) have gained attention as an efficient and commercially viable option. DSSCs belong to the third generation of solar cells and have become a prominent research area within solar photovoltaics. They are particularly appealing due to their simpler fabrication procedures and cost-effectiveness compared to Si-based solar cells. It is aimed to fabricate Dye Sensitized Solar cell using Screen Printing technique using N719 photosensitizer and CDCA as co-adsorbent. Then, the values of short circuit current density (Jsc), open circuit voltage (Voc), fill factor (FF), Power conversion efficiency (Pce) before and after degradation of 30 days duration are calculated. It is analysed for J-V plot and P-V plot using cyclic voltammetry analysis before and after degradation. Efforts to improve the efficiency of DSSCs focus on selecting dyes with higher adsorption coefficients and broader absorption wavelength ranges, enabling better utilization of solar energy.

This book presents original mathematical models of thermal stresses in composite materials with three components. In contrast to mathematical models for two-component materials, which are determined in the first volume, the three-component materials consist of an isotropic matrix and isotropic ellipsoidal inclusions with an isotropic ellipsoidal envelope. These stresses are a consequence of different thermal expansion coefficients of the material components. The mathematical determination results from mechanics of an isotropic elastic continuum, and results in different mathematical solutions. Due to these different mathematical solutions, the principle of minimum elastic energy is considered. The mathematical models for the three-component materials are applicable to those for the thermal-stress induced micro-/macro-strengthening and crack formation in the two-component materials, which are determined in the first volume.

Dental implants make one of the most viable replacements for missing tooth. Titanium has been the material of choice for dental implants ,since its introduction by Branemark. However, titanium lacks certain important properties. There are reported cases of hypersensitivity to material. The difference in elastic moduli of Titanium and surrounding bone, leads to stress shielding and bone resorption. PEEK-based materials can overcome these problems and can be a viable substitute to titanium. It is a homopolymer having a single monomer.PEEK is an inert material highly compatible with surrounding tissues and do not exhibit any toxic or mutagenic effects. Therefore, it can be an ideal substitute for patients allergic to titanium and other metals. PEEK does not have metallic color; it is beige with a touch of grey and has more aesthetic appearance . Major benefit of PEEK as an implant material is its Young's modulus which is close to human bone, thus it can generate favorable stress and deformations minimizing stress shielding effect and bone resorption.

Agro wastes are abundant and the disposal of agro wastes is a major problem in current scenario. Since lots of heavy metals and salts are let out into water bodies through improper treatment, using agro based waste materials to treat the water seems to be a viable solution. More over these agro-based waste materials are found to be economically cheap than commercial activated carbon and other treatment processes. In the present work an attempt has been made with the help of agro-based waste materials such as sludge powder, seeds of Gooseberries and shells of almond and wood apple for the removal of metal ions and salts particularly, iron and fluoride. The viability of the sludge powder and the activated carbon prepared from the above-mentioned agro-based waste materials is demonstrated through series of laboratory experiments through batch and column modes for the removal of iron and fluoride from aqueous solution in addition to Scanning Electron microscopy analysis. Further, equilibrium studies were also carried out to ensure the adsorption capacity of the proposed adsorbents. Results reveal that the proposed activated carbon has much potential in treating wastewater.

The photoresponse-based zinc (II) chemosensors play important roles in several physiological functions in living systems. Due to the unique benefits of photoluminescence imaging, which include high sensitivity and non-invasiveness. It has developed into a potent instrument for the real-time monitoring of Zn2+ trafficking, distribution, and absorption. They have been focused on Zn2+ imaging via photoluminescence in biological systems, which have demonstrated the role of Zn2+ variations in physiological developments. The localization of labile Zn2+ pools as well as the temporal-spatial distribution of labile Zn2+. It has been successful improvements in photoluminescence techniques including fluorescence microscopy and luminescence optical imaging systems.

The problem of teachers¿ health deformations in the conditions of the transition to distance learning because of the COVID-19 pandemic, caused by a change in professional activity, has not been studied sufficiently. This monograph is devoted to the analysis of physiological, psychological and professional changes of teachers of Ukrainian higher educational institutions (HEIs) associated with the transition to distance learning in quarantine conditions.

Agricultural extension professionals are key assets in extension services because they play catalytic roles in agricultural development. To prepare extension professionals to work in changing environments, it is essential to identify the core competencies that will allow them to do their jobs well. Extension professional to be more knowledgeable, skillful and able, not only in technical subject matter but also in process skills. With this consideration, an attempt has been made in the present investigation to know the professional competency of the extension personnel working in KVKs, development departments. Total sample size for the study was 285. Nine components were selected in order to measure the competence of extension personnel. Further, on the basis of data on different components, overall professional competence index was calculated for each respondent and based on their average composite index score, they were grouped arbitrarily into five categories as very low, low, medium, high and very high competence.

The research investigation entitled ¿Studies on inter-cropping and crop geometry in organic production of broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica)¿ was conducted at the research farm and laboratory of Department of Vegetable Science, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar during 2012-13 and 2013-14.it is concluded from the present investigation that application of vermi-compost under a spacing of 45 x 45 cm the sole crop of broccoli (M2S1C1) recorded higher total yield (303.9 q/ha). The highest total yield of greens and roots was recorded with the application of vermi-compost under paired row spacing and radish as the inter-crop planted in broccoli.

Ancient Indian Vedic Mathematics (AIVM) and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) are the fundamental branches of Mathematics, this book aims to serve as a reference book for researchers. The exercises have also been graded appropriately and followed by answers. We can get better performance if we use Vedic Mathematics sutras in ECC algorithms of Cryptography. This Book explained the coding of Vedic Mathematics Sutras in MATLAB and concluded that AIVM sutras in ECC improve the speed, memory, smaller key sizes, and performance in terms of calculation time, processing speed, and power consumption of the cryptosystem.

Markov Decision Process (MDP) models are widely used to model decision-making problems in many research fields. MDPs can be readily designed through modeling and simulation(M&S) using the Discrete Event System Specification formalism (DEVS) due to its modular and hierarchical aspects, which improve the explainability of the models. In particular, the separation between the agent and the environment components involved in the traditional reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm, such as Q-Learning, is clearly formalized to enhance observability and envision the integration of AI components in the decision-making process. Our proposed DEVS model also improves the trust of decision makers by mitigating the risk of delegation to machines in decision-making processes. The main focus of this work is to provide the possibility of designing a Markovian system with a modeling and simulation formalism to optimize a decision-making process with greater explainability through simulation. Furthermore, the work involves an investigation based on financial process management, its specification as an MDP-based RL system, and its M&S with DEVS formalism.

The current study was designed to evaluate Epstein-Barr virus and its relationship to periodontal pathogens in individuals with periodontitis. Our knowledge of the infectious causes of periodontal disease, particularly the interplay between the herpesvirus, bacteria, and host immune system in severe periodontitis, has advanced significantly. This idea may assist to elucidate the pathophysiology of periodontitis. Periodontal herpesvirus-bacteria coinfections may share pathogenic properties with related coinfections in systemic disorders. New strategies for the treatment of destructive periodontal disease may be suggested by a better understanding of the interactions between periodontal herpesvirus and bacteria.

By using Heartbeat sensor there is a daily continuous monitoring.In this work, we propose a system based on an architecture to provide continuous monitoring. A model has been defined to describe the system global behavior. The derived behaviors include the synchronization messages to ensure the global coordination among the system components.

Gypsum is a mineral salt of significant industrial and commercial importance, primarily used in the production of plaster and cement and as a fertilizer and soil amendment. Despite this, there are few works in the literature on gypsum, especially on topics related to its mining and international trade. This book aims to partly fill this gap by providing a synthesis of current knowledge on gypsum including its chemical composition, properties, genesis, global deposits, extraction methods, processing, main industrial applications, and international markets. The book also includes an analysis of Mauritaniäs experience in this field, a country that possesses one of the world's largest gypsum deposits. In addition, the book provides a concrete example of opportunities and challenges related to the valorization of mining resources in Africa and accessing international markets.Designed for a broad professional audience, this book also advocates for an increased use of gypsum-based products to replace Portland cement in some applications. Six formulations of modified pulsincap of Indomethacin were developed by using various grades and ratios by using Hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose K-100M, CCS as rate controlling polymers. Magnesium sterate and talc are the other components used. Blends were evaluated for various parameters such as bulk density, tapped density,angle of repose, Hausners ratio, Carr¿s index. Capsules were evaluated for their physical appearance,drug content, % weight variation and Invitro drug release. All the physico chemical properties are with in the acceptable limits. Based on the results, formulation F6 containing HPMC-K100M in the concentration double the drug¿s concentration was identified as an ideal and better formulation among all formulations. In-vitro release of an optimized formulation of Indomethacin (f6) was found to be 96.05% in 4hrs. Based on the regression coefficient (R2 ) values of various plots, the optimized formulation was found to follow First-order release model and mechanism of drug release was non-fickian type of diffusion based on ¿n¿ value of Korsemeyer-Peppas model.

Graft copolymerization of vinyl monomers onto natural polymers is a fascinating field of research with unlimited potential application for industrial production of various materials. The natural polymers like gellan gum, dextran, chitosan, guar gum, carboxymethylated guar gum etc. occur abundantly in nature and very useful in pharmaceuticals, food industry, agriculture, cosmetic industry, cosmetics, plastic coating material etc. Though such natural polymers have got tremendous advantages, but it suffers from drawbacks like biodegradatibility, which limits its application. Hence grafting of vinyl monomers such as N-Hydroxymethyl acrylamide, methacrylic acid, N, N-dimethylacrylamide, vinyl sulfonic acid, vinyl-sulfonic acid and 4-vinyl pyridine onto the natural polymers, not only make them highly resistant to biodegradation but also imparts other properties such as increase in water absorbency, metal ion uptake, thermal stability, antimicrobial activity and flocculation. So, in order to improves the industrial acceptance and reduce the drawbacks, research efforts are made to synthesize various graft copolymers by grafting different vinyl monomers onto natural polymers.

Improving the audit organization methodology is one of the urgent issues of the modern economy. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease that primarily affects small joints. While there are currently established biomarkers that can be used to diagnose RA, such as RF and ACPA, there is still a need for new biomarkers to improve the accuracy and early detection of RA because it is a complex and heterogeneous disease, with a wide range of symptoms and disease courses. This research aimed to study the diagnostic value of galectin-3 and interleukin-22 as ideal biomarkers for the diagnosis of RA , in addition to study their roles in the evaluation of RA activity. Levels of gal-3 and IL-22 were positively correlated with the disease activity indices CDAI, DAS-28 ESR, and DAS-28 CRP. Regarding the diagnostic values of gal-3 and IL-22 in the detection of RA, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves revealed that the best diagnostic cut-off value of urinary gal-3 was ¿ 2.4 ng/ml, with 89% sensitivity, 91% specificity, and an area under the curve (AUC) = 0. 893. While the best diagnostic cut-off value of IL-22 was ¿ 26.9 pg/ml, with 83% sensitivity, 75% specificity, and an area under the curve (AUC) = 0.838.

For each exercise, a share of theory with analysis is required to develop thinking and critical/professional abilities.
