The monograph is devoted to pragmalinguistic studies of language, text and communication. Problems of interaction of pragmatic factors and linguistic features in communication and text are considered on the material of different languages (Russian, English) using different approaches and methods (cognitive metaphor, cognitive poetics, corpus approach, etc.).The monograph is intended for graduate students, undergraduates, teachers and researchers specializing in the humanities (philologists, linguists, culturologists, philosophers, political scientists and sociologists), as well as all those interested in the problems of language, text and communication.

The problem of climate change and the danger of global and regional effects have become one of the most actively discussed topics in the world. However, due to the novelty and unusual nature of the problem, it is often difficult even for ecologists to understand all its details. Unlike conventional pollutants, CO2 and other greenhouse gases do not have a direct negative impact on humans and ecosystems where they are emitted. The climatic effect is "smeared" over the entire planet. In order to turn the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions into an additional native resource - a globally convertible resource for reducing emissions, it is necessary to organize an appropriate the existing system of accounting and control of greenhouse gas emissions.

After eight preceding sets of practical exercises laid forward in preceding manuscripts, I have inspired from my core ICT academic and research experience to produce this manuscript. Here, a successive set of 35 cohesively written practical exercises in softwares, directly related to Professional Assistance, is laid forward, in a similar style as in the preceding manuscripts. Such exercises apply better to beginner levels in university courses. Of course, its applicability to advanced level courses may be appreciated by many academicians to their discretion. It is retained here that adaptations of these exercises by academicians to their requirements is very possible. It is recommended for students to devise good/workable summary sheets for each exercise, along with writing proper report and referencing needed. For each exercise, a share of analysis is required to develop thinking and critical/professional abilities. Most exercises are devised for computers/laptops along with currently trending smart phones/tablets. Students must communicate properly with their coach, who in turn, are recommended to perform judicious follow-ups.

Ankle proprioception, which is likely the most crucial, plays a significant part in balance regulation. Basketball and volleyball are an evolving sport and it the ankle-foot complex in the only part that comes in contact with the ground which further leads to ankle injuries Sport-related injuries or exhaustion can impair ankle proprioception, which can then change balance and mobility. Ankle injuries frequently cause damage to muscles, tendons, and intrinsic mechanoreceptors, which negatively affects the proprioceptive information needed for balance regulation.

¿Elisitor Nuswantara Biosaka: Sustainable Agricultural Breakthrough towards the Land of Harmony¿, as a guide for a massive movement among farmers to increase production while minimizing external inputs and maximizing internal-local inputs, leading to environmentally friendly practices.Biosaka is taken from the word Bio which means plants and Saka is an abbreviation from Selamatkan Alam dan Kembalikan ke Alam (Save Nature and Return to Nature). This was discovered by Muhamad Ansar, a farmer from Blitar, Indonesia. He has been practicing and teaching how to make and use Biosaka to his fellow farmers since 2019. He firmly believes that nature can provide everything necessary for life, including agriculture. Initially, the Department of Agriculture and Food in Blitar Recency stated that the extension workers and the farmers were skeptical of the benefits of Biosaka, thinking it was some kind of mystical water. Nonetheless, after observing its application in various agricultural commodities for 14 months, it has shown remarkable production results, gradually changing farmers¿ perspectives on the benefits of Biosaka.

Guided Bone Regeneration is a surgical procedure that uses barrier membranes with or without particulate bone grafts and/or bone substitutes. Osseous regeneration by GBR depends on the migration of pluripotential and osteogenic cells to the bone defects site and exclusion of cells impeding bone formation. To ensure successful GBR , four principles need to be met :exclusion of epithelium and connective tissue, space maintenance, stability of the fibrin clot and primary wound closure.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare the optimum mix design of cement-based and geopolymer-based coatings in terms of durability and mechanical properties. The first important point of this research is the use of a special marine artificial environment that can simulate the harsh condition of the Persian Gulf with the highest accuracy and degree of adaptation to place the samples. Further, the use of siliceous aggregates with a maximum size of one millimeter made it possible to apply very thin coatings (about 5 mm) which can result in a significant reduction in the use of materials. Also, pozzolanic materials applied in this study, known as GGBFS and silica fume, are industrial by-products that are available and cost-effective materials inside the country.

To develop a full understanding of how phonetic learning takes place, a consideration of errors seems essential. However, attending only to linguistic influences on acquisition cannot advance knowledge about L2 pronunciation beyond what is already known. In that regard, promising developments in the field include Best¿s perceptual assimilation model (Best and Tyler, 2007) and Flege¿s speech learning model (Flege, 1995), both of which devote attention to the perception of non-L1 speech sounds. Both also diverge from traditional linguistic approaches such as CAH in that they do not treat languages as the objects of study. Flege¿s model, in particular, assumes that as learning progresses, some aspects of the L2 system can be acquired at a perceptual level and that production will eventually align with the newly developed perceptual knowledge. To account for why one learner produces a particular phone correctly and another from the same L1 background does not, one might well look at differences in perception. These may arise from or interact with influences such as L2 experience and L1 use (Piske, MacKay, and Flege, 2001).

The use of information and communications technology (ICT) is increasing every day. One of the recent trends in using ICT in developed and developing countries is E-Government which refers to the use of ICT by the governments to deliver online governmental services to the citizens as well as industries. Using E-Government, citizens are able to have access to the government services 24/7, which makes government services more transparent, with lower costs, higher quality, and more time-efficient. In addition, people would be able to have a greater influence on governmental decision-making processes by online voting, providing their opinions in the forums or contacting the governmental organizations directly via emails or contact forms. There are challenges for implementing E-Government such as security, willingness of the governments, lack of ICT knowledge in the societies and etc. which will be discussed in detail in this present thesis. The purpose of this research was to provide a better understanding of E-Government and its related issues, its impacts in developing countries and providing an implementation model for implementing E-Government projects in Afghanistan.

This book investigates how an evolving concept of transcendentalism in early modem England, influenced by Reformation and counter-Reformation theology, created new ways of responding effectively and philosophically to emerging articulations of national identity in British devotional poetry. My book focuses on a series of politically disruptive moments in the seventeenth century ¿ from the residual trauma of the Protestant Reformation to the Civil War of the 1640¿s ¿ that troubled England¿s developing sense of national identity. In the shadow of these troubles, devotional poets reworked ideas of transcendence that they had inherited from medieval Catholicism to provide a sense of national cohesion in the midst of a changing political landscape.

This book is intended for students doing research on rheology, emulsions, and inhibitors for crude oil, or for others involved in it, and also for those who want to learn a typical methodology for it. Teachers can also recommend this book.The aim of this Book is to explore the rheological properties of light crude oil and its emulsions in order to obtain more information about the rheological behavior of oil flow in pipelines. The investigations were carried out at a temperature of 20 C° using the RheoStress (ThermoHaake, Germany). The results showed that the consistency of the prepared emulsions altered with their water content. The research of the useful connection revealed semi-Newtonian behavior with a moderate stable consistency due to 100% light raw petroleum. However, the Bingham plastic and the Herschel-Buckley models showed the rheological practices of emulsions with diverse water fixations better. The stability of emulsions was determined by evaluating rheological parameters such as non-Newtonian consistency.

Sustainable development is an organizing principle that aims to meet human development goals while also enabling natural systems to provide necessary natural resources and ecosystem services to humans. The desired result is a society where living conditions and resources meet human needs without undermining the planetary integrity and stability of the natural system. Sustainable development tries to find a balance between economic development, environmental protection, and social well-being. The Brundtland Report in 1987 defined sustainable development as "development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs". The concept of sustainable development nowadays has a focus on economic development, social development and environmental protection for future generations. Sustainable development was first institutionalized with the Rio Process initiated at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

As per the growth in the field of security, data authentication and data access control are the major issues. Now-a-days many users prefer to share their data through websites are bound to have many security related issues. The main issue is the leakage of password file. To overcome this issue, honey words concept is introduced. Honey words are the Decoy (fake) passwords. If an attacker steals the password file, it will include original password and honey words and password cracking becomes tougher. So, for an adversary it will become harder to distinguish between original password and a honey word. The administrator gets notification if any illegal login done apart from the genuine user. In this system the main advantage is that sensitive data can¿t be viewed by the unauthorized user. For this Identity Based Encryption (IBE) has been implemented. By this, only the user with genuine credentials allowed to view the original data.

CRISPRs are specialized stretches of DNA and are used in medical biotechnology as a tool to edit genomes. This allows scientists to alter DNA and modify gene functions, often called genetic engineering. South Africa is one of the few African countries that are viewed as a place where dreams are easily achieved as a result of the good and attractive legislative, policy and technological development in the country. The incessant spate of attacks on foreign-owned properties, shops, homes and lives of foreigners in some South African towns brings up questionable and controversial questions about xenophobia in South Africa. This study examined xenophobia from the Nigerian and South African perspective while laying emphasis on African integration.

In this study work, we focus on performance issues of routing protocols, Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR), Ad Hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), and Temporally Ordered Routing Algorithm (TORA) in mobility and standalone ad-hoc networks. We present Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector Routing (AODV), a novel algorithm for the operation of such ad-hoc networks. Our new routing algorithm is quite suitable for a dynamic self starting network, as required by users wishing to utilize ad-hoc networks.We show that our algorithm scales to large populations of mobile nodes wishing to form ad-hoc networks. We also include an evaluation methodology and simulation results to verify the operation of our algorithm.

It delves into the challenges faced by translators and interpreters, the strategies they employ to overcome language barriers, the impact of translation and interpreting on the success of these events, and the influence of cultural differences on the translation and interpreting process.

This book presents a proposed approach for reconfiguring the array patterns of multiple antenna arrays with common excitation weights using optimization genetic algorithms (GA). The proposed methods are based on changing each individual antenna element's phase and amplitude to produce the appropriate radiation pattern. The GA is a powerful optimization technique inspired by the natural process of evolution, which can be used for searching the optimal set of antenna weights. Two strategies for selecting the elements that are shared between the two patterns while maintaining adherence to the appropriate limitations are put forward. The first method uses the central elements of the array as the common elements, while the second method uses the side elements. To achieve lower sidelobe levels, pre-specified common excitation amplitudes can be chosen based on the Gaussian taper. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed methods can efficiently generate and reconfigure between sum, flat-top, cosecant-squared, and difference patterns, subject to pre-specified constraint masks.

It is known that some of the drugs currently used in practical medicine are natural compounds obtained from plants, and these drugs have a number of advantages over synthetic drugs obtained by synthesis. They have a very gentle effect on the human body and do not have additional harmful properties. Among them, alkaloids isolated from plants are powerful biologically active compounds, many of which are widely used in medical practice due to their valuable, healing properties. 11 species of plants belonging to the Zygophyllaceae family, Nitraria family are known in the world, while 3 species of this plant species in the flora of Central Asia are found by academician S.Yu. It is studied in the laboratory of alkaloids of Yunusov Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances. So far, more than 60 alkaloids have been isolated from 3 types of plants. More than 50 of these are new substances, belonging to 15 types in terms of chemical structure, which make a significant contribution to the enrichment of alkaloid chemistry and organic chemistry, and are also important pharmacologically. It should also be noted that interest in Nitraria sibirica plant alkaloids is growing in foreign countries.

In 2013, the Central African Republic (CAR) Africa was the theatre of armed conflicts. The Economic Community of Central Africa States (ECCAS), a regional economic community of which the CAR is a member state became involved in the management of the CAR conflict. The CAR is a former French colony that became independent in 1960 where the successive regimes of the presidents Dacko (1960-1966), Jean-Bedel Bokassa (1966-1979), Ange-Felix Patassé (1993-2003) and Jean-Francois Bozizé (2003-2013) did not do enough to establish democratic institutions in the CAR [1]Between 1960 and 2013 five head of states acceded into power after staging coup d¿états. There has been a propensity to resort in military means to become president than holding democratic elections. Except in 1993 and 2016, most elections held in the CAR were flawed [2]. Additionally, Bozizé¿s government thrived in political exclusion and discrimination which created resentment for the government. Bozizé failed to follow through several peace agreements signed by the Séléka and other armed groups between 2008 and 2013.

Obstructive sleep apnea occurs when the throat muscles relax and block the airway. This happens off and on many times during sleep. A sign of obstructive sleep apnea is snoring.Treatments for obstructive sleep apnea are available. One treatment is a device that uses positive pressure to keep the airway open during sleep. Another option is a mouthpiece to thrust the lower jaw forward during sleep. In some people, surgery might be an option too.
