Desalination has been known to history for millennia as both a concept, and later practice, though in a limited form. The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle observed in his work Meteorology that "salt water, when it turns into vapour, becomes sweet and the vapour does not form salt water again when it condenses," and also noticed that a fine wax vessel would hold potable water after being submerged long enough in seawater, having acted as a membrane to filter the salt.There are numerous other examples of experimentation in desalination throughout Antiquity and the Middle Ages, but desalination was never feasible on a large scale until the modern era. Good examples of this experimentation are the observations by Leonardo da Vinci, who realized that distilled water could be made cheaply in large quantities by adapting a still to a cookstove. During the Middle Ages elsewhere in Central Europe, work continued on refinements in distillation, although not necessarily directed towards desalination.

Modified foods (GM foods), also known as genetically engineered foods (GE foods), or bioengineered foods are foods produced from organisms that have had changes introduced into their DNA using various methods of genetic engineering. Genetic engineering techniques allow for the introduction of new traits as well as greater control over traits when compared to previous methods, such as selective breeding and mutation breeding. The discovery of DNA and the improvement of genetic technology in the 20th century played a crucial role in the development of transgenic technology. In 1988, genetically modified microbial enzymes were first approved for use in food manufacture. Recombinant rennet was used in few countries in the 1990s. Commercial sale of genetically modified foods began in 1994, when Calgene first marketed its unsuccessful Flavr Savr delayed-ripening tomato. Most food modifications have primarily focused on cash crops in high demand by farmers such as soybean, maize/corn, canola, and cotton. Genetically modified crops have been engineered for resistance to pathogens and herbicides and for better nutrient profiles.

This current study is designed as a cross-sectional study. A total number of 94 formalin-fixed paraffin embedded of renal cell carcinoma has been involved (55 males and 39 females, whose ages range from 18 to 80 years). Data have been collected from records of histopathological laboratories in Al-Sadder Teaching Hospital and some private histopathological laboratories in Najaf governorate during the period from December 2018 to May 2019 by using molecular technique (polymerase chain reaction) for detection of DNA for both BKPyV and JCPyV, and Immunohistochemistry technique (IHC) for detecting expression proteins of Cyclin Dependent Kinase Regulators markers (KAP or CDKN3 & Cyclin E1).Initially, these cases are examined histopathologically by hematoxylin and eosin stain (H&E) that has been done by advisor histopathologist to ensure of renal cell carcinoma.The current results of immunohistochemistry technique (IHC) showed that there was a higher positive percentage of KAP or CDKN3 marker 65 (69.15% out of 94 tissue) while there is a lower positive percentage of Cyclin E1 marker 13 (13.83% out of 94 tissue).

The custard apple is the most widely distributed species of the Annona genus in the world. Due to the hard and thick seed coat, it requires about 35-50 days for germination. Irregular germination, in custard apple seeds may be due to dormancy or due to a hard seed coat. Very limited work has been carried out on this aspect in India and in different parts of the world indicating, the utility of GA3 and chemicals for getting better germination of custard apple seeds. The date of sowing has its own importance in seed germination and seedling growth. For enhancing better, synchronized seed germination and growth of seedlings, seed scarification was used. Nurserymen have often encountered problems with germination and poor growth and development of seedlings restricts the availability of healthy planting material on a large scale. Therefore, it is highly essential to accelerate the rate of seed germination and growth rate by treating the seeds with various chemicals to obtain more germination percentages and healthy seedlings within a short time.

The encapsulation mechanism of *rINF-¿-2b in lipid, carbohydrate and protein based microspheres to achieve high encapsulation efficiency and protein loading capacity. *rINF-¿-2b is a fragile molecule and encapsulation requires in addition the preservation of their structural integrity and functionality. We estimated that *rINF-¿-2b-Pt-GMs-15 offered sustained release of protein over two weeks and released 95.01±4.23% of *rINF-¿-2b. The stability study assessment by gel electrophoresis and circular dichroism confirmed post translation structural integrity of *rINF-¿-2b in *rINF-¿-2b-Pt-GMs-15 nanoformulation. In vitro therapeutic efficacy testing of optimized formulation further provided compelling evidence with enhanced cytotoxicity and low IC50 in SKOV3 cells. Therefore protamine sulphate coated microspheres may potentially be used for sustained delivery of *rINF-¿-2b and warrants in depth in vivo study to scale up the technology for clinical intervention.

By considering different black hole backgrounds like Schwarzschild, BTZ and charged (Reissner¿Nordstrom), we calculate correlation functions between bulk and boundary of black holes by introducing scalar fields. Thedifferent (co)variance components for calculation of genetic parameters were estimated using Restricted Maximum Likelihood Method (REML) by fitting an animal model.The overall least-squares means (± SE) of age at first service, age at first calving, weight at first calving, 180-day milk yield, 305-day milk yield, lactationlength, total lactation milk yield, peak yield, days to attain peak yield, milk yield per day of lactation length (MYLL), milk yield per day of calving interval(MYCI), service period, calving interval, dry period and number of services perconception were estimated.
