Climate change risks arise from the interaction of climate-related hazards (extreme weather/climate events) with the exposure and vulnerabilities of human and natural systems. Based on multi-source climate and socio-economic data, the nonlinear regression method and Copula function were used to identify the impacts of single-hazard extreme events and multi-hazard compound events, and to analyze the risks of extreme events such as drought, heatwave and flood during the global warming of 1.5°C and 2°C. Combined the three-factor (hazard, exposure, and vulnerability) climate change risk assessment methodology, the socio-economic risk of extreme events, integrate risk of risk-bearing bodies (i.e., population, economy) were quantitatively assessed.

We have developed novel nanostructured PANI/ZnO and PANI/MnO2 electropolymerized stainless steel electrodes as highly sensitive biosensors. At first, nanostructured ZnO and MnO2 have been synthesized chemically and polyaniline nanocomposites with different weight percentage (5, 10 and 15%) were electrochemically deposited onto the stainless steel electrode. These modified electrode surfaces were used for immobilizing the Urease by physical absorption method. Then, nanostructural characterization of the sensor¿s surface were performed using SEM, FTIR and XRD techniques to understand the surface morphologies of the sensitive materials to better evaluate film suitability for biosensing. Also the characterization such as Cyclic Voltametry, Chronoamperometry and EIS were performed in order to evaluate the electrochemical performance of the constructed biosensors. In third stage, the developed sensors were tested towards detection of Hg (II) and Pb (II) heavy metal ions.

Vedas are the scriptures of the Hindus and they do not owe their authority to any one individual. Sage Vy¿sa codified and arranged the Vedas into four groups as ¿k, Yajur, Sama and Atharva Veda. He arranged the Vedas as two sections and called the section with rituals and mantras as Karma K¿nda, and the second section (end part) as J¿¿na K¿nda. The end part is also called Vedanta. It is the philosophical part. Vedanta is not an imagination or speculation. It is the spiritual experience of the race for centuries. It is the actual realization or the super conscious perception. The thought of the profound Indian philosophy is explained in the Upanisads. The Indo- Aryans were bold thinkers and they initiated the search for Truth.

Friction stir welding (FSW) is a solid-state joining process that uses a non-consumable tool to join two facing workpieces without melting the workpiece material. Heat is generated by friction between the rotating tool and the workpiece material, which leads to a softened region near the FSW tool. While the tool is traversed along the joint line, it mechanically intermixes the two pieces of metal, and forges the hot and softened metal by the mechanical pressure, which is applied by the tool, much like joining clay, or dough. It is primarily used on wrought or extruded aluminium and particularly for structures which need very high weld strength. FSW is capable of joining aluminium alloys, copper alloys, titanium alloys, mild steel, stainless steel and magnesium alloys. More recently, it was successfully used in welding of polymers. In addition, joining of dissimilar metals, such as aluminium to magnesium alloys, has been recently achieved by FSW. Application of FSW can be found in modern shipbuilding, trains, and aerospace applications.

Python is a great programming language for both beginners and experts. It is designed with code readability in mind, making it an excellent choice for beginners who are still getting used to various programming concepts. The language is popular and has plenty of libraries available, allowing programmers to get a lot done with relatively little code. You can make all kinds of applications in python: you could use the pygame framework to write simple 2d games, you could use the GTK libraries to create a windowed application, you could try something a little more ambitious like an app such as creating one using python¿s Bluetooth and input libraries to capture the input from a USB keyboard and relay the input events to an android phone. A variable is a name in source code that is associated with an area in memory that you can use to store data. An interpreted language such as python is one where the source code is converted to machine code and then executed each time the program runs. This is different from a compiled language such as c, where the source code is only converted to machine code once, the resulting machine code is then executed each time the program runs.

By far the most comprehensive study of the subterranean structure known as the Osireion, its relation to the main temple complex of Seti I, and the surrounding sacred landscape at Abydos. The Osireion contains an enormous wealth of information with its encyclopedic array of New Kingdom Underworld Books and provides a unique insight into the ancient Egyptian worldview, circa 1300 B.C. at the beginning of the Nineteenth Dynasty, following the tumultuous Amarna Heresy. It was built by Seti I as part of his program to re-establish the abode of Osiris, abolished by the heretic Akhenaten, thus explaining its form as a subterranean architectural rendition of the Duat itself, the realm of Osiris as Ruler of the West. Built on the same axis as Seti's Mansion of Millions of Years, it was from the beginning to have been an integral part of this complex. Its ancient name, "Beneficial is Menmaatre (Seti I) for Osiris", points to its purpose. Two graffiti from Dynasties XXI and XXII provide further insight as to how the ancient Egyptian priests perceived this unique structure, calling it "mysterious/hidden place of the Duat of Menmaatre" and in a greeting "Hail to you! The Ethiopian dairy sector is predominantly comprised of smallholder dairy producers. Milk production and quality are often compromised due to handling practices, collection logistics, high ambient tropical temperatures, and low production volumes. Milk processors face challenges related to the supply of inferior quality milk. However, there is a growing and steady demand for high-quality milk and dairy products. Establishing a connection between rural smallholder dairy farmers and milk processors through the provision of high-quality inputs is of utmost importance. The lactoperoxidase system presents a viable preservation alternative for milk in situations where cooling facilities are inaccessible. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the preservation potential and microbiological inhibition of raw cow's milk through the activation of the lactoperoxidase system in the Hawassa region of the Great African Rift Valley.

In 2004, at a time when I received my Australian citizenship, I decided to complete a second Master¿s degree. My choice of course to complete was a Master of Business Administration. This was so because I had been appointed Director of Studies of a private English language teaching college in Sydney, Australia. I had no experience of management, apart from being a Senior Teacher and IELTS Coordinator before. In 2005, I finished this postgraduate degree with high distinction in Financial Management. Ever since 2005, I have sought to pursue further studies in Finance. This only happened in 2017 with the opportunity to stop working and benefit from a stipend in order to complete a PhD in Financial Accounting. But before 2017, I had worked for the Commonwealth and the Westpac banks in Australia. I had also worked for two Mortgage Brokers in Sydney. All in all, this professional experience cemented my interest in Financial Accounting and the use of ratios. This link between the subject matter in this book and my background does not explain my choice of study object in this book ¿ i.e. Indigenous corporations. What does, in reality, is my African heritage.
