Consiste en tomar la cuerda del arco en distintos puntos de acuerdo a la distancia a la que esté el blanco y apuntar utilizando la punta de la flecha a modo de mira. Al tomar la cuerda desde distintos lugares (distintos agarres), el arco cambia muchos de sus parámetros tiro a tiro. Por ello, el correcto ajuste del arco para todos los agarres es complicado, debemos ajustarlo para que funcione más o menos bien con todos, si queremos obtener buenos resultados. Este es el verdadero arte del ARCO RASO, lograr el mejor ajuste posible y la mayor precisión a todas las distancias. El StringWalking es más un arte que una ciencia, ya que la puesta a punto, corridas y configuración están condicionados por diversos factores como la forma de tiro, diseño del riser, las palas, las flechas, etc. Todo esto determinará la configuración que nos dé los mejores resultados. Por ello, en StringWalking, ningún principio es inamovible, lo que funciona para un arquero, puede no funcionar para otro. La puesta a punto es algo muy personal que debe ser establecidos por prueba y error.A principios de este siglo el StringWalking era casi un arte oculto, esperamos que con este libro deje de serlo.
