Each is an exploration of the human psyche and our interactions with one another, nature, and the events in our lives.

But Still My Child is a set of poems from the heart of one grieving woman to another.Written over a period of thirty years, these poems express the immediate pain as well as the lingering ache that miscarriage can bring. They do not provide easy answers. Instead, they acknowledge the pain while seeking to provide the comfort and companionship that only someone who has also experienced the loss of an unborn child can share.

Why do nations go to war? Is war ever just? What attitudes and actions are reasonable to expect from our warriors? This book uses a combination of stories and essays to discuss these questions and to expand our understanding of the moral dilemmas inherent on both the personal and national levels in the act of war. It is based on G. Lowell Tollefson's experiences as a U.S. Marine in Vietnam and his philosophical reflections since then.
