This book suggests an appropriate and wholistic measure in tackling the perennial problems associated with poverty, dehumanisation and lack of respect for human dignity amongst rural communities of Africa. Dr. Tanimu Saminaka describes how Integrated Rural Community Sustainable Development (IRCSD) plays a significant role in shaping the way we think about the poor, and vulnerable Africans towards ensuring that, the dignity of Africans are transformed, reclaimed and recovered for appropriate community development. The book discloses that, Africa is largely rural and agriculture is the main stay of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Both men and women in Africa are involved in agriculture in the areas of rearing of animals (particularly women folks) and soil cultivation. Poverty, brokenness and lack of respect for human dignity for a sustainable development are problems this book significantly reveals. Dr. Tanimu stresses the fact that a proper understanding and the application of God's Word and a change of attitude is a possible antidote toward reclaiming, recovering and transforming of human dignity and respect for Africans across gender and race. The author holds that no meanningful development can ever take place and succeed without involving God in it. It must therefore be wholistic and people-centered. This little book is a collection of messages on Discipleship Training in Holy Ghost School recorded at Right hand of the LORD Fellowship, Egbe- Lagos, Nigeria.It happened that I was discipled by two ministers of God: Rev. What first led me to write a book on discipleship is the compelling force to pass on something to this generation, things the Lord has taught and exposed me to over the years, things that are not of doctrine but of life. The second is that people from various churches go through discipleship and mission training in CAPRO offices in different cities and we do not have materi- als to give them that are concise and written in the context of our environment. The third reason is closely related to the second. We teach these things, espe- cially, the course, 'Call to Discipleship' as churches invite us to run training on discipleship and missions, and we have no materials to leave behind for them to read. This demand provoked me to work on this book. The fourth reason stems from a commission we received from a Christian leader, to publish the truth and scatter it everywhere as certain men are spreading a message that is not really the Gospel. One effective way to 'contend for the faith, which was once delivered to the saints' is to keep publishing the truth. What we speak may be forgotten soon after we had left a meeting but what is published will last several generations. I have faith that several years after I might have gone, if the Lord tarries, someone will find this little book, may be, covered with dust, and republish it to contend the violence that will be unleashed against the Church. Except the Lord does something speedily, the coming years will be one of the worst for the Church. I am praying within me that this book will be part of God's reserved army to resist the force of evil in days ahead. It is my prayer that through this book, this purpose will be accomplished, as well as meet the need of our Lord today in raising instruments of war out of His many children who have seen it fit to walk this path. It is for these reasons that this book is written. May God bless it and turn it into 'a live coal in his hand' and burn it into the hearts of our readers! Amen!

Delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of your heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass (Psalms 37:4-5). Gaining Access to GodJesus said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture" (John10:9). The phrase ''if any man enters; indicates that both believers and unbelievers can access the door of Mercy, if they desire and also strive to fulfill the terms and conditions for admission into the Throne room for the salvation of their souls and other needs.To this intent, God is calling out to you! He beckons; saying:- O' sleeper, awake from your spiritual slumber, awake from backsliding rebellion and disobedience;- You that is dead in sins and trespasses. Arise from the death. Rise up above those besetting sinful habits.- Lay aside every weight and the sin which closely clings to you.In view of the above opening statement of this prologue, the book is set out to encourage the reader that the mandatory proof that you trust in God and His ability to do the impossible, rests on your application of the principle of importunity in prayer.

We should thank God for what he has done for us. You and I have access to spiritual weapons of war fare that are highly effective to assure our to- tal deliverance. We should make good use of them. Your enemy is at work to harm you, to destroy your progress. You must not fold your arms. You must rise up to face the challenges. The devil must be resisted. Such satanic agents must not be allowed to ruin your life. Resist the devil and he will flee away from you ( James 4:7) You must always be at alert. Never give the devil any foothold in your life. You need violent and aggressive prayer to free yourself from evil inheritance emanating from generational or genetic problem. You need to free yourself from household wickedness. These are en- emies inside your own family. Joseph's case is relevant here. His brothers sold him into slavery out of envy and jealousy. The scripture states; and a mans' foes shall be they of his household (Matt 10:36) You should be prepared to rebuild and reconstruct your faulty foundation. The Bible states if the foundations be destroyed what can the right- eous do? (Psalm 11:3) Deliverance from foundational bondage is needed for success and breakthrough in life. You need to destroy every satanic network of evil association and communication system. Pray aggressively and violently to dismantle every evil gathering obstacles and satellite against you. By the power in the blood of Jesus you have been empow- ered to cancel and nullify every satanic mark on you. Make good use of this divine opportunity.

Power is the ability to get what you want. In today's ministry, the most reliable means of getting what you want is power from above. God the creator has empowered human beings created by Him to go and subdue the earth. The bible sheds light on numerous miracles recorded to prove the mightiness of Almighty God. Though other lesser powers emerged to compete with the supreme of God, as in the case of Egyptian dominion over the Israelites yet, the power of God proved to be the most effective. ORDER FROM ABOVEIn Luke 10:19, Jesus Christ decreed; Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.You have indeed be empowered to battle demons, diseases and other related problems. All you need is to walk in faith and act by faith. Embracing satanic power with a view to battling demons is definitely out of place. Serving God and mammon will be counter-productive In Mathew 18:18; Jesus declared: verily, I say unto you whatsoever ye shall bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever ye shall loosed on earth shall be loosed in heaven.The Lord Jesus Christ who gave this order is ready to back it to the glory of God the Father. You do not need the services of necromancers, Occultists, Soothsayers to effect the promises from the Saviour above.In Mark 16:17; Jesus decreed: And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name shall they cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues.It is only with the name of Jesus you can deal with demons. At his name every knee must bow. (Phil 2:10) Jesus power is superpower. Ministers, Jesus has given you authority and power with which to, operate in today's ministry. Ministers of God, operate absolutely in Faith. The promises in the Holy Bible are for you.(JEREMIAH 1:10)See I have this day set thee over the kingdoms to root out, and to pull down and to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.(ROMANS 9:33)As it is written, behold I lay in zion a stumblingstone and rock of offence and whoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.(11 COR: 10:4-5)For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Turaki does a scholarly work in developing moral laws based on creation and the God of creation. He argues for an inter-relationship between the moral laws and ethics that would derive from the observance of creation through natural science, and that which derives from God. This according to him is based on the inter-relationship that already exists between the God of creation and creation.Given that humanity is the creation of God, the moral laws and ethics that are derived from God and His creation must be universally applicable to all humanity.Turaki further argues that the moral laws and ethics that are derived from biblical revelation are the absolutes by which all other laws derived from other religions, natural science and common sense are judged.Turaki does not make these claims without serious academic wrestling with various perspectives on the subject both philosophically and theologically. His approach provides useful information for the systematic theologian as he treats each relevant subject both descriptively and critically.In a postmodern age where relativity and corresponding subjectivity has become the new absolute, this work is a welcome challenge, calling us to rethink the popular assumptions of our time and revisit the subject of morality and ethics from a theistic perspective.The Christ of God claims to be truth and life. In social sciences and in the field of anthropology, work and social interaction are synonymous to socio-economic and cultural stardom of a society. For an appropriate social and economic interaction, God the Father must be understood and believed as the One who created work and was the first worker. He designed, fashioned, engineered, molded the universe and made it so beautiful and suitable for man to live in, with a clear mandate to "work" for the benefit of mankind and for the glory of God. In essence, a bond of relationship through work is established between God and humanity. A good theology of God therefore, must include work.

The account was about Kofi Adams, a man who travelled out of Mopedia in search of Paradise. Mopedia existed few centuries ago and was mainly consisted of the black, howbeit with other colours included. With respect to geography, Mopedia was founded on the plateau with her boundary stretching out in different directions. In her northern side for example, she had a renowned valley, which had generously served the land as a hiding place during wars. In the south, she had a route that led to the Fortune Island, which was then a notable centre for mercantile activities. Adventurers of the time made use of the island as a link between their hometowns and cities of the then known world. Travelling via the said route to any of the far away cities was likewise a much-desired ambition of that age. Besides, it was a custom to celebrate a native of Mopedia who was resident abroad but visited home with the valuables of those cities. Small wonder, a good percentage of people often aspired to make short trips or periodic tours southward of Mopedia.

A close study of the teenage life shows it could be likened to weeds in the hands of the wind or a moss carried along by the wave and tide of the sea. At times, the lives of the young people flicker like a candle light battling with the breeze of time.
