Land was his god and he never stopped him acquiring more land. His love life utterly changed when he fell in love with a beautiful Scottish gentry lady of the realm . She told him more about business and also what ladies need in a special department. She then told him that she was known to be barren. He quickly proved her husband was shooting blanks. Her happiness was soon diminished when she was ordered home. Her husband died and she was ordered to marry a lord of the Highland's. He believed that he would ever find someone special again He also knew that God was good.
