This is a journey that God brought me through and I can't do anything but praise him. We all go through trials and tribulations and our testimony is what makes us and not breaks us. Be of good courage, even when your back is up against the wall, don't look left or look right but look up to the higher power and that is our Father which is in heaven. Thanks to my son and daughter, my husband. My mom & dad and sisters and brother laws that were there in the midst of my trials. I LOVE YOU ALL!

  • - A Concrete Dream
von Jr Brisbin & George H
    18,00 €

As a young boy, the author met a retired schooner captain by chance. They both admired an abandoned one-hundred-foot schooner hull on a sandbar near the captain's home in Tampa Bay. The captain assured the boy that the hull could be salvaged and repaired to sail again, but it never was. Years later the author remembered the vision that the captain had about rebuilding the hull. The author was working for the Panama Canal Company, where an unused ferro-cement schooner belonging to Explorer Ship 8 of the Boy Scouts of America was sitting idle at a dock. Pushed by his teenage son to "get the Chief fixed up" so the scouts could sail her, the author took on the project. Finding a way to raise money for repairs was the first challenge. After that, it was a day-by-day struggle to bring the schooner back to a seaworthy condition. This book documents the hard work, pressure, and growth that both the teenagers and the participating adults went through as they brought an impossible dream into reality. The Chief participated in the tall ship parade of the US Bicentennial, July 4, 1976, in New York harbor and then sailed back to Panama.

The above is the actual article printed after the attack. Only Robert Craig's, a fraught husband and grieving father, description of events came from desperation. Not all the prisoners were killed during the Indian's escape from Morgan's Station, and their pursuit did not end within about thirty miles of the attack. Negotiations won back several of the enslaved over the following years. But then it is also true some were never heard from or seen again. • von Ella Mae Money
    24,00 €

Ella Money always knew there was something out there much bigger and better than her, so she became a dreamer. She didn't know that someday her dream would become her reality. The twists and turns while she was growing up in the South weren't always easy. The ups and downs led her down wrong pasts, making her commit all kinds of mistakes, leading to years of regrets. She lost and found herself at the same time, not understanding that life is a journey. What you learn along the way is up to you to use for good or bad, positive or negative. It's up to you to decide. Her past placed her in the South, her present placed her in many different cities, and her future placed her in Minneapolis, Minnesota-and there she found herself. The girl in the window was always me, Ella Money. I just had to realize that.

I had him tell me what it meant to him to have PKD, and we turned his thoughts into this book: a book about a child with PKD, from the child's point of view.

My Wish for You blossomed from daily conversations between the author, j chatmon, and her son that began when he first started to talk. Every morning upon his waking, she asked and still asks, "e;how did you sleep?"e; and "e;did you dream?"e; The responses were short and sweet in the beginning, but as his vocabulary grew, so did the imagery he shared. This small exchange provided a launch pad into conversations that had nothing to do with the proverbial to-do list but, helped nurture a safe space for sharing and invaluable memories.

Roger F. Golden retired as Captain from the U.S. Navy after twenty-four years of service. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School with honors and served as Secretary and General Counsel for three major corporations over twenty-six years. This book is a dramatic story of the final decade of his life as legal counsel for a brokerage house in Chicago, which brought together the buy-sell transaction ushering the former Soviet Union into the world market currency system. Russia would deposit major gold reserves into HSBC out of Hong Kong as collateral. All the major banks of the world were involved. The deal was so large that the commission owed to the brokerage house was $1.7 trillion in 1989! The commission fees never reached their rightful destination. This is the unbelievable revelation of the path of these commission fees and the major political and financial players involved in a massive cover-up. All of this relates to current events, including an unexecuted Supreme Court order, quietly sealed away in the Supreme Court vault, awaiting its providential day of execution, along with a revolutionary plan to distribute the wealth of all federal- and state-owned lands to the American citizenry, without touching the land, fulfilling a personal, decades-old prophecy of Jubilee and how it will touch the lives of all Americans! This is a true story you do not want to miss!

Incredible sex? Hardly, but that is open for discussion. I am a real female boomer virgin. I was the original child who slaved for a useless (as far as salary was concerned) BA. Humiliatingly, I ended right back in (reluctant) Dad's basement. All these were accomplished during the reign of the yuppies. I suffered defeat after bruising defeat. Much to my puzzlement, enduring college gave me a life-long dedication. Sometimes, unrewarded suffering may pay its own, unnoticed, dividend. An unintended attitude became a part of me. Continuous social exclusion forced me to adapt in ways I never saw coming. Sexual innocence, resentment, and mental illness-all coalesced into a stealthy weapon of mass provocation. Anne Wojcickis of the world, my humble story may bore you. For the rest of us, laudations. Cossacks, you have made it through another day. Please lose yourselves in my confessional autobiography.

This little girl's life is colored in grays and blacks with no hope of love and happiness as in the colors of the rainbow.Somehow Mareva survives the first twenty years of her life. Today, she is amazed that she actually did live these events. Then, somewhere along the way, she gains the strength to begin a journey, unique to herself. She moves on to being able to reach for the wonderful colors in the rainbow to color her life, leaving the grays and blacks behind.
