The rise of ¿Islamism¿ in the Arab world in the last few decades has drawn researchers¿ attention to this significant phenomenon. In addition, the advent of internet, it is believed, formed a vital tool for this rise, given it opened a wide door to Muslim groups to communicate with audiences. Simultaneously, it is noticed that Palestinian people, in particular, were influenced by political Muslim groups which influence peoples¿ various aspects of life. This study focuses on the exposure of Palestinian students at two major universities to the Islamic websites, and sheds light on the extent to which those students are influenced by them. The study, based on the Use and Gratifications Theory, depended on the descriptive approach, and used the quantitative analyses, examined a sample of An-Najah and Birzeit universities in the Palestinian West Bank, and found that more than half of students are exposed to Islamic websites, and regard them as a reliable source of information. At the same time, the study shows that students, in general, are open to ¿non- Islamic¿ websites, and obtain news and political analyses from them.

The study of the river flow predictions in open channels is an important issue in hydrology and hydraulics . Consequently, this paper is concerned with studying the unsteady flow that may exist in open channel , and its mathematically governed by the Saint Venant equation using a four-point implicit finite difference scheme. From many hydrologic software, HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Center ¿ River Analysis System) is a good choice to develop the hydraulic model of a given river system in the south of Iraq represented by Al- Kahlaa River by a network of main channel and three reach and a total of 57 cross sections with 3 boundary sections for one of the applications . The model was calibrated by using the observed weekly stage and flow data . The results show that a good agreement was achieved between the model predicted and the observed data by using the values Manning's(n=0.04) for over bank with the values of Manning's ( n=0.027) for main channel and also with using time weighting factor ( ¿ ) equal one .

Partant du constat qüen économie solidaire, toute tentative d¿homogénéisation conceptuelle est inféconde et qüen Kabylie, face à l¿échec des politiques de développement appliquées, des pratiques émergent du fond de la société qui peuvent être assimilées à la logique de l¿économie solidaire, l¿auteur a, par ce travail, tenté de relever un défi de rupture épistémologique : conceptualiser et théoriser à partir de et pour son territoire de vie. Avec l¿émergence de ce travail sur la scène publique, un fait s¿impose : que la génération actuelle d¿acteurs ait la perspicacité d¿en faire justement une référence ou pas, la théorie de l¿union et de la fraternité va constituer un fondement pour de vraies écoles de recherches en sciences sociales qui, tôt ou tard, vont naître en Algérie pour forger des outils, méthodes et théories adaptés aux contextes locaux. En plus des nouveaux concepts forgés (conflits bloquants/conflits motivants, solidarité dormante/solidarité agissante, transformations sociales et génie collectif), on retrouve dans les faits relatés de de la Kabylie dans cet ouvrage une parfaite illustration de la convergence des théories de Marcel Mauss et de Karl Polanyi.

L'industrie céramique au Maroc est confrontée à un certain nombre de défis, en matière de compétitivité, qui résultent pour une large part de la mondialisation, du renforcement de la législation sur l'environnement et de la hausse des coûts de l'énergie. Cependant ce secteur est à haute intensité énergétique et il doit affronter la concurrence des pays développés Face à cette situation, Il faut concentrer tous les efforts dans le but d¿optimiser la performance énergétique via l¿efficacité énergétique. Le four de cuisson est considéré d¿une part comme l¿unité la plus énergivore dans le procédé de fabrication des carreaux céramiques. D¿autre part c¿est l¿unité clé dans l¿industrie céramique car ses performances influencent directement la qualité et le coût de production. Pour cette raison, le présent livre se propose la faire des bilans thermiques sur les différentes zones du four de cuisson, dans le but d¿évaluer ces performances, de cibler les principales pertes thermiques et finalement d¿élaborer un plan d¿action sous forme des actions d¿amélioration et des projets d¿économie d¿énergie, afin d¿améliorer le rendement énergétique de ce dernier et réduire sa consommation en gaz GPL.

Aging issues at work including shift work has continued to grow over the past twenty years. A differential approach to different occupational groups has showed that the final last years of employment are painful in the health care sector because of shift work . Its tolerance depends on the capacity of each population to face job strain . The aim of our study is to evaluate the influence of shift work on work capacity of hospital nurses , and to identify its influence on their quality of life. It¿s a cross sectional study conducted over 15 months ,involving a representative sample of 293 nurses working in 2 university hospitals It included an evaluation of physical capacity through different tests allowing the evaluation of the maximum hand grip strength (grip strength), joint flexibility, respiratory capacity (peak flow), strength of the lower limbs (sitting and standing test)and postural controle (balance test).Cognitive ability was performed with the manual dexterity test (O'Connor), the Corsi cubes test, the reaction time test and the Stroop Victoria test.The study was completed by a questionnaire exploring the ability of work(WAI), Karasek scale and quality of life.

L¿analyse des performances comparées des services publics constitue un défi primordial pour les pouvoirs publics en général. Poultry as one of the animal production enterprises is considered as an important part of these enterprises. Recently, poultry production industry in Egypt is considered one of the most important industries to achieve self sufficiency in animal protein, especially with the awful increasing of human population. The objective of book to select a suitable open system broiler house based on house length/width ratio and ventilation area/house area; to select the most suitable equipment and most suitable working systems concerning feeding, drinking, ventilation, heating and lighting systems; to select a suitable bird density; develop a heat balance for calculation heating or cooling load based on meteorological data; developing empirical equations to predict weekly broiler performance; determining energy consumption of the house and estimating the total cost and return per kg of live body weight and developing a computer program using the empirical equations obtained from the experimental work. The evaluation of the studied system was estimated based on different broiler performance parameters such as bird feed consumption, bird body weight, feed conversion ratio and bird¿s mortality.

Nothing has rocked the young field of supply chain management like the emergence of the Internet.
