The Epigenetic Keys to Therapeutics Effectiveness of Fluoropyrimidine Therapy in Colorectal Cancer. Global DNA methylation as 5- methyl cytosines could be considered as a prognostic determinant of treatment efficacy. The methylation and expression of cycloxygenase and fluoropyrimidine metabolizing genes exhibited a clinical significance for individualized treatment. The Molecular Follow- Up along with the Clinicopathological Follow- Up is crucial for best management of colorectal cancer.

This book contain different studies in bioremediation of heavy metals using different species of bacteria which isolated from soil of Basra city south of Iraq. these bacteria showed excellent bioremediation ability through two routes, bioaccumulation and biosoption which in turn emphasis using advance technique such as TEM, FTIR, and , XRD. Finally from the results we can recommended to use these bacteria in remediate heavy metals in situ after increase their biomass using bioreactor.

This research aimed at developing EFL creative writing skills of second year experimental preparatory school pupils using the "WebQuest" Approach. Fifty participants from second year at Hassan Abu- Bakr Distinguished Governmental Language School were randomly assigned into two groups: experimental group (N=25) and control group (N=25). Two instruments were used: creative writing pre-test, and creative writing posttest with a scoring rubric. The instruments were administered before and after the experiment. Quantitative data analysis was conducted. T-test was used to compare the means scores of the control group and the experimental one in the pre-post applications. Results showed that the experimental group pupils have developed their EFL skills of memoir writing (eleven skills were developed while one skill is not). It was concluded that the "WebQuest" model is effective in developing EFL creative writing skills of the participants. It was also recommended that the "WebQuest" model should be integrated into writing instruction programmes.

this study, silica has been prepared by using in a new three steps method from rice husk. The silica was used as a stationary phase in column chromatography and give interesting results in comparison with the commercial grade silica. This study included functionalized of the prepared silica with 3-chloropropyl (triethoxy)saline to give chlorine end group labeled compound as RHACCl. Sulfamic acid and urea were immobilized onto RHACCl to form heterogeneous catalysts labeled as RHANS and RHAUR respectively. The heterogeneous catalysts were used for hydrolysis of cellulose to glucose.

This modified narrative book is an exploration of the perceptions of two educators who experienced dramatic changes in the New Orleans public school system as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Since its invention in the early 1970, the use of demand for optical fiber has grown tremendously. The uses of optical fiber today are quite numerous. With the explosion of information traffic due to the Internet, voice, data, and ,electronic commerce, computer networks and multimedia video, the need for a transmission medium with the bandwidth capabilities for handling such vast amounts of information is paramount. Fiber optics, with its comparatively infinite bandwidth, has proven to be the solution. Optical fiber is also used extensively for transmission of data signals, these data need secure, reliable systems to transfer computer and monetary information between buildings, to the desktop terminal or computer, and around the world. The high information-carrying capacity, or bandwidth, of fiber makes it the perfect choice for transmitting signals.

In the introduction, problems related to water pollution by oily wastewater have been explained. The next chapter summarizes results of some relevant published articles to develop and review new ideas in this area. Modeling of permeate flux using Hermia's pore blocking models has introduced in the third chapter following by explanation of materials and methods of fabrication of ceramic membranes in the hybrid processes. Finally, in the last chapter of this book, results of using different types of ceramic membranes in the hybrid processes of MF-coagulation, MF-adsorption, MF-coagulation-adsorption and chemical cleaning of ceramic membrane will be mentioned and discussed.

L'ouvrage est un parcours personnel et professionnel, dans lequel je partage ma connaissance, mon expérience et quelques idées avec des collègues et des lecteurs éventuels. Cet ouvrage tente de décrire mes regards sur quelques aspects du patrimoine marocain. J¿ai commencé bien sûr par le fameux site de Sijilmassa, ainsi on a essayé de dévoiler les secrets archéologiques de cette cité à savoir sa production céramique, sa composition architecturale et son histoire. Puis j¿ai fait la liaison du Tafilalt avec Sijilmassa en faisant allusion à son habitat dit « ksourien » et à son activité potière encore active. La 3° composante tente de mettre en lumière un patrimoine archéologique et naturel de la province d¿Ifrane-Moyen Atlas. Le dernier volet concerne la description de mon expérience au sein de la BNRM surtout dans la gestion des collections et dans quelques études sur les manuscrits. C'est un témoignage de mon vécu avec des mentions d¿archéologie, d¿histoire et d¿ethnographie. Il peut être aussi comme un recours, un guide pour les futurs chercheurs. Il lance enfin un appel aux autorités marocaines et à la société civile pour mettre en valeur de ce patrimoine riche et diversifié.

This book is introducing a prayway to reduce camber in simply supported prestressed concrete girders. This camber usually produced when girders left for a period of time before installation in the site causing construction problem when casting the slab deck. There for a practical way should be presented to decrease this camber without reducing the girder capacity. The book deals with this problem by introducing prestressed strsnds in the compression zone.

This research sheds light on the practice of codeswitching in the Colleges of Dentistry, Pharmacy and Medicine of the University of Anbar. Codeswitching is defined as the use of two or more languages in communication. This study aims at examining who uses codeswitching, the teacher, the students, or both, the general purposes and specific functions of codeswitching, and the relationship between the level of English proficiency of the students and the use of codeswitching strategies.

In this study, we report on the radon concentration levels, in the houses of Rafah city during summer season of the year 2016 using the CR-39 track detectors. Passive diffusion Radon dosimeters containing CR-39 solid state nuclear track detectors of good quality were used to measure Radon and its daughter's concentrations throughout Rafah city. Our sampling strategy was to distribute the dosimeters in houses in Rafah city (Tal El Soltan , Balad(Rafah camp) and El Genena) at different geographic parts of the region. These dosimeters were randomly distributed in bedroom, living room and kitchen. The (150) detectors were left for about three months during the period from June to August of 2016. The collected detectors were chemically etched by using NaOH of (6M) concentration at temperature 700C for a period of about 5 hours. Each detector was counted visually using an optical microscope with power of (40*10). Tracks in the three distinct regions of Rafah city were observed, through the area (1cm2), then average number of tracks/mm2 was detected at all the regions was 73.8 Bq/m3 (1.99 pCi/l) with a range of values between 16.5 and 150.4 Bq/m3 (0.44 and 4.06 pCi/l).

Introduction: Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is the erosion in lining of stomach or duodenum. Predominantly caused by Helicobacter pylori infection in about 50% of the world¿s population.which can colonize in the gastric antrum of all patients producing an extensive, noninvasive inflammatory reaction in the gastric mucosa.Methods: Fortey patients newly diagnosed endoscopically with peptic ulcer disease to be allocated into group 1 treated with standard H. pylori eradication triple therapy, and group 2 patients treated with curcumin (500 mg) capsules three times daily for 14 days as an adjuvant to standard triple therapy.Results: The result showed that the use of curcumin as adjuvant therapy produced highly significant improvement in healing efficacy which was significantly distinguished in duodenal ulcer patients compared to gastric ulcer groups 2 patients (p

Le point de départ de ma réflexion était les pratiques de cage et Schafer. mon approche utilise des outils d¿analyse de l¿histoire de l¿art, de la philosophie et de l¿esthétique, pour rendre compte des pratiques du paysage sonore et du son. L¿objectif de cette méthode est l¿assemblage d¿une histoire, un état de l¿art et une cartographie du son et de ses déploiements. Je tiens à souligner le statut des auteurs étudiés. Ce sont les pionniers du son, chacun de ces auteurs cristallise, dans ses pratiques du son, des manières de l¿écouter ou de le construire. Il s¿agit donc d¿interroger ce geste spécifique qui consiste à séparer le son de la musique pour en faire une catégorie à part. Cette catégorie qui évolue dans les lieux situés en marge, un seuil sur une frontière entre deux bords (un bord canonique relativement stable celui de Murray Shafer et un bord mobile celui de cage). Notre travail a pour objet de faire une modélisation de système de protection contre les inondations existant dans la ville de ILLIZI et proposer un nouveau système de protection en cas de défaillance existante. Notre étude va porter essentiellement sur deux parties, le premier consiste a une étude hydrologique pour une bonne évaluation des débits de crues de défirent période de retour ,deuxièmement on va créer trois scénarios différents à l'aide de logiciel HEC RAS (5.0.1), le premier scénario pour but de simuler l¿inondation de 2006 avec le système de protection de 2006, le deuxième scénario pour but de examiner l¿efficacité de système de protection existant maintenant contre défirent débits de crues et enfin la troisième scénario consiste à modéliser les ouvrage proposer et testes l¿efficacités de nouveau système.

In the Iranian Criminal Procedure Code, the victim has been operating beyond the control. Nowadays, protecting the victim's rights directly in the line of protecting the community and accused is another important objective of the criminal procedure. This research is descriptive-analytic by gathering information through library collection. The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the criminal procedure law for protecting the rights of the victim, witness, informed, and accused family. After reviewing the legislature's support for the victim's rights, we have come to the conclusion that the Criminal Procedure Code includes supportive programs. It also protects intuition and advocacy programs such as: non-face-to-face encounter between witnesses and informants with the plaintiff or defendant, the failure to disclose identity or housing information of witnesses and informants, the use of information technology in martyrdom audits, and obtaining information, support checking against threats or possible risks, providing for and paying for losses, investigating separately from the presence of witness, the prohibition of notifying witnesses or informants.

UHT milk is aseptic milk with normal flavor and aroma , its validity about 180 days . the mailk is heated up to 140°c for few seconds and aseptically packed . the egyption standards no . 1623/2005for the UHT milk permit and encourage the production and consumPtion of UHTmilk . the present investigation is done to answer two main questions , the first is asurvey study to follow the specification of UHT milk found in the egyption market and if it is accomplishing the egyption specification NO.1623/2005 secondly an attempt to develop acceptable UHT mailk , making acombination between pressure of homo genization and the amount of stabilizer to produce UHT mailk from fresh cow mailk and another from recombined milk of skim milk powder and palm oil . the aime of study is : to run a survey study about the main UHT mailk found in the Egyptian market , to follow their specifications according to the standard specifaction 1623/2005 issued by egyption organization for standardization and quality . to prepare UHT milk form fresh or recombined milk under lower homogenization pressure , with different combination between pressure and amount of stabilizers.

In this research, the different modes of the 33-bus network were investigated with open DSS and MATLAB software. The simulation program was implemented using the colonial competition algorithm in two general sections. In the first case, loads were considered constant, and in the second case, they were probably modeled. Each of these states had sub-sections. In these sub-sections, location and measurement of photovoltaic sources were investigated. The specified objective functions were also explored separately to provide a comprehensive form of the proposed method. The results of the simulation with MATLAB with the help of open DSS indicated that by using the optimal location and measurement of the photovoltaic power plant, the system losses could be significantly reduced and the quality of the delivered power to the subscribers could be improved. By improving the voltage profile of the buses of the power system, subscribers would have a higher quality power. Finding the optimal size and place of the photovoltaic power plant using a multi-criteria objective function was investigated in this book.

Traditional pest management strategies could be replaced by the potential of nanotechnology as an effective and viable approach to alleviate problems pertaining to pest control given the unique characteristics of that technology, especially the metal nanoparticles. In this research, we synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) by the chemical reduction method. The instrumentation such as TEM, SEM, UV-visible spectroscopy was used to reveal the morphology and size of nanoparticles (which was the seam grain with rough ends in AgNPs and size ranged between 20-50 nm), (the shape was amorphous with sharp edges, 60-128 nm in ZnONPs) and the characterization of bought Silica nanoparticles indicates that was approximately spherical with the diameter between 20-60nm. In bioassays, larvae were exposed to a series concentration of Ag, ZnO and SiO NPs by feeding and dipping method. Mortality rates obtained with SiO, ZnO and Ag NPs at the highest concentration were 90 %,86 % and 60 %, respectively. ZnO nanoparticles reach the high percentages in inhibition of pupation and inhibition of adult formation (100% in both).
