Clean energy use, economic development of a country and quality of life of citizens are closely linked. Further extent of cleanliness of primary energy and the transformation process followed have significant environmental consequences in the form of global warming. Hence, there is a need to shift to low carbon clean energy in the energy transformation and value system. Such a system calls for availability of right type of clean energy, right product, process technology, affordability of users and appropriate institutions. In rural areas where clean energy poverty is high, diffusion of clean energy products will be possible by addressing the issues of information dissemination, availability, financing, affordability, serviceability and creating income generation opportunities.An action research method of partial interventions in the ecosystem and assessment of effect has been adopted. The study was undertaken in the areas of South Odisha, with predominantly rural population. Through a series of case studies, the components of clean energy ecosystems and their iterations have been studied. The findings of the book can help policy makers and marketing agencies and divisions of companies to plan the diffusion of clean energy products in unserved areas among poor consumers in a systematic way.

The people were stacked like gunny bags. Munna had tried to enter into the general compartment. He went into the compartment but it repealed him outside the compartment. Finally, somehow he managed to get into it. Once got into the compartment he went directly to the luggage carrier and managed to fit himself there. Seeing him sleeping nicely when people are dying to take breath others have also tried but everyone was not so lucky. Precisely as the night fell further, he continued to stretch himself and things from the luggage shelf kept falling. Fortunately, it had not hurt anyone and hence only a few small verbal coups took place.
