In the context of teaching and learning, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) play an important role as pedagogical support to help improve the educational structure. The aim of this work was to diagnose students' prior knowledge of botanical content. A bibliographical survey was carried out and, from this stage, photos of plant structures were obtained for making the didactic slides. At the end of making and preparing the slides, the content was divided into the following three units: I. Development and Morphology of Angiosperms, II. Plant Diversity and Reproduction and III. Physiology of Angiosperms. This led to the need to produce this book as an incentive to demonstrate that the teaching of botany can be carried out in a beneficial way, both for students through the acquisition of knowledge and for teachers through the use of the Microsoft office PowerPoint program, an easily accessible ICT, as a teaching resource in discursive classes, improving knowledge and making teaching and learning more effective.

Powdered fruit juices present problems of stikiness, solubility and hygroscopicity which are related to their high content of sugars in an amorphous state. This study aimed to induce crystallization in powdered tropical juices during the spray drying process and to correlate the microstructure of the powder obtained with the functional properties of stickiness, hygroscopicity and solubility. For this work, mango juice with 12ºBrix was used. Before dehydrating the juice, the following carriers were added: maltodextrin, gum arabic, waxy starch and cornstarch, at concentrations of 12%. Crystalline cellulose was also added to the solution at concentrations of 0%, 3%, 6% and 9%. The powder was obtained using a mini spray dryer. The powder obtained was analyzed for microstructure, stickiness, solubility and hygroscopicity. The results indicate that mango juice powders obtained by spray drying have sugars in an amorphous state. The functional properties studied decreased as a function of cellulose concentration. It can be concluded that the addition of cellulose did not promote the crystallization of sugars, but it did influence the functional properties.

The link between arachidonic acid and oxidative stress raises health questions. Present in minute quantities in peanuts, arachidonic acid has the potential to metabolize into pro-inflammatory compounds, contributing to an inflammatory environment. Oxidative stress, linked to imbalances between free radicals and antioxidants, is associated with a variety of conditions, including cancer. However, arachidonic acid is just one of a number of oxidative stress factors.Although specific dosages of arachidonic acid in peanuts are minimal, it is crucial to consider overall diet and lifestyle habits when assessing risk. In-depth epidemiological studies are needed to understand the specific implications of peanut consumption, especially in regions where they are widely consumed. In conclusion, although associations can be established, further studies are needed to clarify these relationships and guide health advice.

"The path taken by the seminar then contemplates a journey from Ford to Hitchcock, from De Sica to Moretti, from Ozu to Godard, albeit a journey that itself presupposes the ontological legacy of other filmmakers. Perhaps an image that supports the understanding of what the lecturer (João Mário Grilo) describes as the 'monster' that each film is in the mind of the director who had to make it." It will therefore be in the alliance between technique and the principles of filmology that this monstrous vision will develop its most human profile."

Animals from different phyla have developed powerful secretions and venoms which are veritable chemical arsenals that act on the biological system with great affinity for their physiological targets in prey/predators. These are involved in immobilisation, necrosis or death, acting as tools that increase the efficiency of attack, capture or digestion of food. In this book we describe components in fish venoms capable of processing vasopeptides of the Renin Angiotensin System.

This BOOK, written in a very personal context, portrays part of my experience of nearly 40 years as a doctor and general surgeon, seen in the light of what informed consent (also called free and informed consent) is in the day-to-day life of a surgeon who practises the doctor-patient relationship with the will, to inform the Patient (in an environment of mutual trust) of the reasons why they need to undergo a Surgical Procedure and the risks (and the care they should take) arising from not accepting the surgical proposal. A set of 13 (thirteen) of the most common surgical procedures is presented, with a description of the underlying diagnosis, the most successful surgical techniques and the existence (or not) of apparent alternatives for each pathology with an indication for surgery. Surgeon, Patient, Healthcare Team and Family should form a United Group with the same goal of improving the Patient's Health. Artur Ramon de La Feria.

This book highlights the gap in the emotional approach in Early Childhood Education, asking how the psychic function of emotion and affectivity contributes to the integral formation of the child. The research, anchored in the Historical-Cultural Theory, reveals the historical path of Early Childhood Education and teacher training, analyzing theses and dissertations (2015-2019) that expose advances and setbacks in the discussion on the emotional education of teachers. Based on Historical-Dialectical Materialism, it highlights the need for an intentional pedagogical practice, recognizing that emotions and affectivity are fundamental to the full development of human capacities. Thus, this book not only reveals challenges, but also provides support for educators, promoting essential reflection in Early Childhood Education.

Big Data is a new concept that is set to revolutionise the relationship between organisations/companies and their consumers. The production of data by society is increasing at exponential levels, currently reaching a zettabyte of data produced every day, the vast majority through emails, social networks - such as Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin - through the Global Positioning System (GPS) of millions of mobile phones and the Internet of Things, in which machines are connected to the Net producing thousands of bytes of data every second. Analysing, cross-referencing and producing information from unstructured data, which comes in huge volumes, at real time speed and in a variety of formats, is no easy task, but some organisations/companies are already venturing into the Big Data universe to better understand their customers.

This document corresponds to a doctoral thesis developed from the Doctoral Program in Education of the Benito Juárez G. University of Mexico. The objective of the research is to analyze which theoretical, pedagogical and conceptual characteristics of the experiential education model can contribute to the educational quality in cycle II (3rd, 4th and 5th) of elementary school of Agrupación Rural OHACA (Bogotá DC), from the scenario of the pedagogical processes developed in the area of physical education. The methodology is based on a hermeneutic qualitative approach with elements of the socio-critical paradigm. The Action Research in Education method allows a non-experimental design and a descriptive scope. The proposal is based on the theoretical development of six conceptual categories, namely: experiential education, elementary school, rural education, physical education, educational quality and transversal competencies.

Taxonomy is the classification, the sequence of elements forming the components of a domain, a notion or an item. In grammar, taxonomy (more recommended by purists) is the study devoted to classifying the constituent elements of a grammatical item or notion. In this way, taxonomy provides an exhaustive presentation of the full scope of a grammatical notion. From elementary school, through secondary school to higher education, we have found that studies presented on grammatical notions in books or by authors have not achieved their full potential, i.e. they have not presented all aspects relating to grammar. These include the notions of adjective, adverb or adverbial phrase and complex sentence. Revisiting these grammar notions in the light of our recent modest experiences has enabled us to present some "hidden" aspects of these notions and even make them "simple" to acquire. As a result, these grammar notions are no longer arid, but accessible and complete.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by tobacco farmers in the Linha Grande area, in the interior of the municipality of Dona Francisca - Rio Grande do Sul. The study took a qualitative approach, using a questionnaire with structured questions containing multiple choice answer options as a tool for collecting information on the use of pesticides and poisoning after using them; accidents at work and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when growing tobacco. It emerged that all the farmers interviewed use pesticides on their tobacco plantations. As for accidents at work, there were reports of cuts at harvest time and bites from venomous animals. With regard to the use of PPE, it was found that it is not widely accepted by the tobacco farmers; they only use some of the equipment because they find it uncomfortable, making it difficult for them to carry out their activities in tobacco production.

This document responds to the need to stimulate areas of psychological development of children mainly in early ages, as it draws much attention and worries us specialists of the Diagnostic Orientation Center, the little maturation of children in the achievements of development. Another reason that justifies the realization of the proposed document, lies in making the family aware of the vice to new technologies, which can leave severe consequences in children. Today, the issue is worrying because infants have access to these media from an increasingly early age (under 3 years old), without the proper accompaniment of parents, bringing negative consequences for the psychic development of children that may even be irreversible if the family does not give due importance to it. It provides guidelines to mitigate the existing factors in our families, that with your interest we can improve their lives and those of the children.

Understanding Chavismo and its political model depends on a historical-conceptual basis and a perception of the changes that took place in the 20th century. Through this framework, we studied the oil policy adopted by Hugo Chávez's government (1999-2013) for the purposes of regional integration with Mercosur through the proposal called Petrosur. In order to understand this issue, we chose to analyze geographical, political, economic and legal aspects that could be seen as obstacles to the implementation of the proposal, as well as the ideological nature of Chávez's speeches associated with the various internal fissures in strategic sectors of the Venezuelan economy. Therefore, this work presents the results of a consistent study of the current Venezuelan reality, which is actually a reflection of a past full of unresolved issues.

Special contracts are public contracts relating to defense, national security and the strategic interests of the State. In other words, apart from the army, the police and the gendarmerie, there are other sectors that fall within the scope of the State's strategic interests, such as energy, water, public health, education and many others. These contracts are very important for a country's economic recovery and the protection of national interests. In view of their particularly sensitive nature, special contracts benefit from flexible rules that derogate from those applicable to conventional public procurement. However, emergencies can sometimes threaten national security and defense, as well as the strategic interests of the State. Cameroonian and French legislators have taken measures to deal with such emergencies. The work in question will make a comparative study of Cameroonian and French legislation on emergency situations in the awarding of special contracts. In other words, the work will identify the specific features of each legislation on the subject.

The purpose of this study is to assess health activities to prevent measles in the province of Lomami in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In reality, despite the existence of vaccination against this disease, the incidence of morbidity remains high. Epidemiological surveillance of this disease still needs to be improved. Vaccine storage methods need to be analysed, and living conditions, especially housing, need to be improved. The involvement of community leaders in raising awareness of the fight against this disease is vital if this scourge is to be overcome.

The aim of this book is to reflect on university social responsibility (USR) in Morocco, based on the perceptions of students as the university's most important stakeholder. The measurement of RSU is based on four dimensions of university social responsibility: Responsible Campus, Professional and Civic Education, Social Knowledge Management and Social Participation. Based on a field study of 380 students from the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences (FSJES) - Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech (UCAM). The results indicate that the FSJES is perceived by its students as a socially responsible institution of moderately good standing. Social knowledge management is the most important dimension in the FSJES-UCAM RSU measure, followed by the social participation dimension, then the professional and civic training dimension, while the responsible campus dimension is rated as the least important in the RSU measure.

Throughout our study, we've argued that the Kinshasa language has its own distinctive vocabulary. We've tried to answer this question, and we'll summarize by saying that the arrival of people from Equateur, the migration of people from Province Orientale to Kinshasa, the mobility of military personnel and the adoption of Lingala as the "official" language of the army, the role of new instruments in the socialization of Kinois, and multicultural contacts in Kinshasa have largely favored the import and evolution of Lingala to the point where it is today. To this end, we believe that the sociology of language or migration will strive to classify and situate the vocabulary of Kinshasa Lingala in its context. It has also been argued that in its evolution, and because of all the influences it has undergone (notably by local languages), Lingala, after having put other languages to flight, has not resisted the dynamics of change to such an extent that the Lingala of yesterday is not so much the Lingala of today. Of course, this evolution is particularly noticeable in certain specific circles

Allergies are nowadays diseases affect more than 30 % of the population in western countries. They are caused by inhalation, ingestion or contact with allergens, antigens responsible for the inducing synthesis of specific immuglobulin E (IgE) that mediate allergic reactions under certain conditions. In the case of food allergies, the current incidence is estimated about 3 % in the adult population and 6-8 % in the pediatric. Food allergens are mostly soluble proteins with a molecular weight of between 10-70 kDa. Allergy to nuts is one of the most common food allergies, the tree nuts are among the most allergic foods world wide, and therefore from hazelnut, walnut, cashew, peanut, chestnut and Brazil nut have been identified. The characterization of nut allergens, has revealed that the majority belong to storage protein families such as vicillins (7S globulins composed of subunits of about 50 kDa), legumins (11-13S globulins composed of acid peptide subunits of 30-40 kDa and 15-20 kDa basic) and 2S albumin (15 kDa).

The Program of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021-2025 sets the task to ensure qualitative growth of exports and their geographical diversification, which will make it possible to expand markets and contribute to the sustainability of foreign trade. This is explained by the fact that exports are the basis of the open Belarusian economy, which ensures the inflow of foreign currency into the country, profits to enterprises, and taxes to the budget. To solve this task it is necessary to: develop large-scale economic integration with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and especially with the Russian federative entities within the framework of the Union State, as well as with the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States; deepen cooperation with the states participating in the implementation of the megaproject "One Belt, One Road" and especially with the provinces, autonomous regions and cities of the People's Republic of China; intensify trade and economic ties with the countries of the "far arc" - South-East Asia, Bashkortostan, China, China, China, and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. How are these tasks being solved today? This is the subject of the proposed study.

This work aims to reveal the philosophical work of philosophers Michel Foucault and Gilles Deleuze, both thinkers who lived through the glamour of the 20th century, specifically in France. They took part in social uprisings such as "May 1968", they were militants involved in various social issues, but above all they had the courage, like Nietzsche, to "philosophise with a hammer", or rather the courage to inaugurate the "new in philosophy", and destroy what smelled of resentment in human existence. Deleuze and Foucault were friends, and their contributions in their philosophical legacies will be important for understanding social reality and the human being itself today.

This study aims to investigate allegations of abusive demurrage charges by shipowners or intermediary shipping agents.Faced with the need to make good any damage caused by the non-return of the container, and in the absence of specific legislation on the subject, the Judiciary and a large part of the legal profession have equated container demurrage with the rules of the Commercial Code applied to ship demurrage. However, the unrepealed part of the Commercial Code was drawn up in 1850, a time when the use of containers in global maritime transportation did not even exist. This highlights the risk of unrestricted application of custom and usage to container demurrage. This has created undesirable legal and economic consequences for the regulated market. In view of the reality of the market, to the detriment of the majority jurisprudential position, we believe that a hermeneutic investigation into the legal regime of container demurrage is opportune, especially to guide the start of technical and legal discussions on the correct application of this institute.

Value co-creation is an imperative practice in the service environment. In some cases it is a condition of quality, but in others it is essential, as is the case in education. Understanding education as a service encounter does not mean reducing the importance of this activity, but rather qualifying its practices within known parameters and predetermined quality. Based on the Self-Determination Theory, the authors present an ethnomethodological analysis of the co-creation of value in the Administration course. The precepts of the Dominant Service Logic in Marketing are applied here using the technique of vignettes to address student perspectives and their understanding of the scenario. The results particularly highlight the role of self-determination as a central element for co-creation, through intrinsic motivation (desire to learn) in its tenuous relationship with extrinsic motivation (evaluation). It is identified that students may or may not be predisposed to co-create, which manifests itself in three behaviors to be aware of in the reading. We recommend this book to those interested in understanding the Dominant Logic of Service in Marketing and its foundational premise of Value Co-creation.

With the aim of providing better quality services and the well-being of civil servants, public institutions are implementing a restructuring of people management aimed at promoting quality of life at work. However, many are still only skirting around the problems they face in terms of labour relations. It might be more appropriate to follow a trend of starting to diagnose the needs of their work teams, thus providing the basis for drawing up and developing a Quality of Life at Work Programme that brings more comprehensive and lasting results. In view of this, the aim of this study is to analyse which quality of life at work factors are perceived as relevant by the employees of a Brazilian federal university, UNIPAMPA.

The myths of violence are those erroneous beliefs originated by several factors, related to the normalization of certain praxis within society that benefits the one who commits aggression of different types, in this case this book focuses on describing how a myth of violence originates, in equivalence with the phenomenon of rape. Taking this into account, this research considers that a myth of violence can be originated in different frameworks of society, one of them is falsely believing that a video game encourages behaviors within its topics as violent, and mentioning once again the role of social cognition as the main epistemology, it is erroneously believed through information and meanings of the world, that through constant stimulation of a video game will be the main cause of you assuming such information to become an immoral being. But the reality is that maintaining this type of information can lead to generalities or determinations, as well as feed these myths of violence, which in fact this project seeks to check if it is feasible, that is, if these myths exist or not.
